  1. It's ironic because I know people do use RaceMenu to great success when to comes to eye shaping, I guess it takes practice and effort in order to get the desired appearance.
  2. Wow I literally just posted a new forum post about this very same issue. I'm attempting a "validation of Steam files" to see if that fixes anything but I don't want to have to do uninstall the game completely just to get the horses fixed again.
  3. Horses in my game are stuck with no animation for some reason and I have no idea why, they were working fine before but I don't know what mod is causing the current problem. Current Plugins: https://modwat.ch/u/Uriah098/plugins (Note: Looking at the "Modlist" section is inaccurate as Modwatch doesn't officially support Vortex yet so the "Modlist" is showing the mods I used with MO several years ago)
  4. The uncapped download speeds only really matter if you have a really fast download speed from your ISP. It's no fault of the Nexus if you happen to have slow internet speeds. And no I'm not a "Nexus shill", I'm just stating facts. If you can only get up to 250kb/s normally on a download then there's no reason to go uncapped because you'll never reach the cap in the first place.
  5. Maybe it's just because I'm playing LE but I've never had an issue with RDO. Did you make sure to follow the author's recommended load order? i.e. Making sure RDO loads AFTER Live Another Life, if you have it.
  6. What's the best way to shape a character's eyes in RaceMenu? Is the Sculpt feature the only way to make more precise adjustments to eye shape? I used ECE in the past and that mod spoiled me with various sliders that changed a lot of different areas of the eyes which RaceMenu doesn't seem to have. Any pointers would be appreciated!
  7. Apparently it seems like the atmosphere for overhaul mods is a "vanilla-plus" attitude. Generally speaking, the big overhauls of the past have turned into exactly that: a thing of the past. I do, however, recommend you take a look at EnaiSiaion's mods, rather than being a large overhaul he has several mods that individually make changes to practically every part of the game.
  8. For me, I didn't even need to use that long command line. -jar SUM.jar for the command line worked for me (since I'm using SUM to patch both DSR and ASIS). Seems like as long as the "start in" line leads to your patcher and the "target" leads to your java executable it will work even if your command line is super short like mine.
  9. Probably not going to help your camera situation but I noticed you have both Summermyst and Wintermyst installed. On the Summermyst page Enai clearly states that you CAN'T use both mods at the same time. I'd recommend removing Wintermyst as it is no longer supported and Summermyst has more polish and attention to detail, and that's coming from Enai himself.
  10. When making any type of dynamic patch in Vortex there will always be the error "failed to parse". Sometimes it's fixed by hitting the sort button on the plugins page when LOOT recognizes the patch but there are other times where you have to make the patch again before it's recognized by LOOT and the plugin fails to parse at all and sorting fails. What exactly is this "fail to parse" error? Maybe Vortex should pause or something while patches are being made and once the patches are done there could be some type of deployment system that prevents the error from occurring.
  11. I'm a supporter myself because I also didn't want to be overloaded with ads, but having "GET PREMIUM" shoved in my face every time I get a new mod is pretty obnoxious in my opinion. Vortex tells you the same thing in its' UI on the download section telling you to get premium so that your downloads won't be capped.
  12. I can't say I like the new download page either. Also, my internet isn't the greatest anyway so even if I did go premium I probably wouldn't get any higher than 1mb/s, claiming it to be the "fast download" option versus the "slow download" option is kinda false because for some people and their network environment they can't get the advertised faster speeds.
  13. Are you talking about Special Edition or Legendary Edition? Those are completely different things. You need to get SKSE64 v2.0.17 for Special Edition, however if you play Legendary Edition you need SKSE v1.7.3. For SkyUI Special Edition go here: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/12604? For SkyUI Legendary Edition go here:https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/3863
  14. Yeah, figured I'd be better off without it. Although I use ECE myself. Switching to RaceMenu, the sculpt feature is better than I thought.
  15. When creating any type of patch in TES5Edit which requires your entire load order to be generated properly, Extender Slider Colours will lag the hell out of your patch creation. Take this for example: When creating a Immersive Children patch in TES5Edit using the patcher script, it will take hours to complete the patch. Without ESC the patcher will only take a couple of minutes. Also, interestingly enough, I tried loading Imperious after ESC just so that I could get the Imperious race descriptions and it turns out that the patch was made quicker than what it would if ESC was loaded after Imperious.
  16. Welp, looks like I just got served. Maybe since I'm used to manually fixing a load order after LOOT sorted it from the time I used MO1 playing a modded Skyrim a few years back. The rule creation system in Vortex as it is works just fine, but being new to this system is what made my previous biases more apparent I suppose. My apologies.
  17. Load Order management is one thing I don't like about Vortex. Since it uses LOOT exclusively, and LOOT doesn't get things right 100% of the time, you really need to watch out for compatibility recommendations from the mod authors. For example, with what I'm dealing with, RaceMenu is compatible with Imperious, however Enai recommends that Imperious be loaded after RaceMenu. With LOOT sorting Imperious won't load after RaceMenu unless you create a rule. Thing is, for noob modders, setting LOOT rules might difficult to understand. On top of that, since I only just noticed my load order was wrong I need to remake all of my patches which is a fairly lengthy process. I'm tempted to go back to MO because at least with that it's easy to fix the load order when LOOT gets it wrong. Also we need a way to use LOOT metadata from sources such as STEP, for example they have metadata for the recommended load order for Relationship Dialogue Overhaul, which LOOT always messes up.
  18. Okay this is weird. Outside of Vortex all of the SkyProc Patchers run just fine. It's only when Vortex tries to open it that it says Java isn't installed. Could there be an issue where Vortex can't detect my Java Platform installation? Edit: Just figured it out, had to mess with the command line. Fun stuff. Edit 2: Even with the command line nothing is running. I'll hit run in Vortex but it will say "Running" for a split second but nothing will appear on screen. Final Edit: I finally got it to work! The FAQ for Vortex didn't have the command line and "start in" variables set up right in their example
  19. I may also have the wrong Java program installed. I'm downloading the Java program that SUM leads to in it's description. Also how to I edit the BAT files?
  20. So, I tried to run SUM in order to create patches for DSR and ASIS for Skyrim LE, however, it says the tool failed to run because I was missing Java. Which I am not. I even downloaded Java again from the site and installed it and it still doesn't work.
  21. I've been noticing the server issues, my MO won't even let me sign in.
  22. Basically, until SKSE is updated you may as well keep playing base Skyrim. A fair chunk of good mods require SKSE after all. Besides, there's nothing that SSE adds that mods don't add anyway. So I'm just keep playing base Skyrim and not even look at Skyrim Special Edition.
  23. As a current MO user I'm interested in what's to come with the NMM, I've used both and I find that as it stands at this very moment MO is the better manager I love how you can set esp files as optional when a mod has several files (Cloaks of Skyrim for example), I haven't used NMM since v0.5x.x but I'm quite positive NMM doesn't have that feature (might check it out now tbh). Also the fact that MO shows you the file-tree of mods is really helpful, I mean especially when a file might be out of place and you can then fix it yourself. I'll definitely be following the progress of NMM but for now I'm sticking with MO.
  24. I'm a premium member and I have ads popping up everywhere, so much so that it's hard to navigate the page, sometimes I'm even hitting the close ad button and it brings me somewhere else, this really needs to be stopped.
  25. I have ALL NPC's immortal in my game because 1: I don't want Skyrim to be a deserted wasteland 2: Loosing merchants absolutely sucks 3: just in case mods like "Run For Your Lives" and "When Vampires Attack" don't work for some reason I don't want people to die.
