Well thanks SHO3LACE for highlighting this, and everyone else for clarifying, I've told Steam NOT to update... let's hope it works. Anyone know what time this patch was released into the wild. I loaded Skyrim up 4 hours ago, hoping it didn't update and I can jsut keep it running for... a few months.

Ok I did STEALING PLANS with Vikhas in Redorans retreat, we then went and killed a Siverhand Leader. (minor none detailed spoilers) After a funeral, i was to meet the circle in the underforge, before we all run off to a tomb. However, the conversation in the underforge didn't trigger. So I went up to Aela, and she gave me a quest - Stealing Plans. This time in Trava's Watch, to uncover silver hand leaders plans. However walking away from her triggered the conversation, and started the quest, Glory to the Dead, which i ran with them to the tomb and did. NOw my Stealing plans quest is bugged. However I've been ALL through Travai's watch, killed leader at top. looked in chest and NOTHING. Can't complete it, and Aela won't give me any follow on quests for the Companions. Even went and cleared Redorans Retreate again in desperation, I've tried "setstage CR10 1" "setstage CR10 200" etc, and cr 8 through 12. No luck. Also tried setstage CR 12 0" To hopefully manually add the next questline bit, sadly no luck. Anyone able to help? After all, i AM the Dragonborn, and I can kill all foes by my mighty self, but a gear mule should have at least the decency to look good. So, fairness to both1e preferences, who are the best looking companions?

I've added some items, just stuff in my house I couldn't be arsed fast travelling back to my house for, and used tcl, and setscale for fun, and have been receiving achievements just fine. I have initially missed some achievements (from way before I started accessing the console) due to Steam community not running properly when I opened the game. Shame. But I can confidently state using the console does NOT stop you receiving all achievements.

Sounds perfect. And I agree it's very frustrating the time it takes switching them out, when really your hand IS free.

My girl only reads the thiefy ones as thats what she does and is looking for tips. Me I read maybe the 1st 15 or so I came across, but after that I got bored.

lol I was level 31 before getting Lydia my 1st companion. I levelled from 1-9 solely on pick pocketing in Riverwood. Also conjuration spells, and muffle, I can just cast them over and over and get free XP, it does seem a a bit way too easy to level. EDIT: Is there a max level?

isn't workling/recognised by the console. Does anyone have a working one please. I've just entered whiterun, having done NOTHING bad and the guards want me. Only thing I can think is that as I helped fend of a bandit attack one of my spells caught a guard... I don't think it's right I should be punished for that.

I am unable to. Other games work fine. Steam.Li bray>Skyrim Properties >General > Enable Steam Community is checked. My button is still set to Shift+Tab but I just can't get the overlay to work at all. Well annoying. Anyone encountered similar and have a fix? Ok I fought around Lothering, took lots of injuries, Injury kits just don't get rid of them. Figured I'd just clear them at camp. But no matter what I try, I just can't uninjure my main character, camp got rid of my party member injuries, but not mine. I've COMPLETELY removed my Overide folder, Unticked EVERY Mod in Damm, so complete vanilla game, and nothing has helped. I've run script injury remall and remparty, no good. The debuffs ARE affecting my stats, so it's not just a graphical glitch. Is there anything I can do? At all? I've scene changed lots. Is there a way to add Wyne and level her to 14 and try cleansing aura? Or any other bright ideas? Edit: Used scripts to give Morrigan Cleansing Aura... Didn't work :(

What I'm looking and hoping for is a mod/way to configure it so that characters are naked in cut scenes, but in just normal game play, if their chest armour is removed, it leaves them in underwear. So naked cut scenes, dignified during normal play. Is it doable/out there at all please?

Hi again. Download this program: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html 7z files are simply a packing around the files you need. That program will allow you to 'unpack' the files, so that you can use them. Once you've unpacked a file, check the folder its created, it will often have a readme file in it, telling you what do. But 99% of the time you just need to cut and paste this created folder into "C:\Users\your name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override" If there's a DAzip file, just drag and drop on to mod manager left pane like I said. Literally jsut drag the file ON TO the left hand column of DA:O Mod Manager ANYTHING ELSE generally jsut dump the un zipped folder in "C:\Users\your name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override" Sorry if this isn't any help, your question is fragmented and hard for me to follow.

Nor like it! My override folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Dragon Age\packages\core\override Nothing in the my documents version. I have Installed Dracomie True Textures to that folder. ( all of Dragon Age Redesigned, inc Tears of Sorrow and some of the companion specific .erf's) I also have the following folders/mods: Bidelle's Cosmetics Eyes v1 + Skins + Presets CC Extra Tints & Tones DP_Remapped_Eyes HF LOTC Hairstyles V1.2 Freezedriedbrain's (FDB) Skins JB3 Textures HF LOTC Eyes + Eyelashes More_Hairstyles Pineappletree's Vibrant Colors 1_31 Tucked Hair A folder called Skin Look, and one called textures that has a load of RenHair files in it. I've also used a compiler program to leave me with just one chargenmorphcfg.xml file. I know that's a lot to take in, but I'm trying to provide as much information as possible. IS there any major skin file I'm missing or anyone recognise the problem? Do I need to install them all in a set order?
