What other mods are residing in the game's data folder? How many items have you enabled in the GECK ? If you just load the main file, does this occur?

FalloutNV.ico << is not showing it's properties in your screen shot, it appears blank, This is an OS problem, { libcef.dll } missing, { ssce5432.dll } is missing, Must have it there. {Steam.dll} Missing along with all the rest of steams packaging. {crashhandler.dll} steam crash handler is not there, it must be there. {CSERHelper.dll} ,{dbghelp.dll} windows image helper debugger missing, No file association exists as the icon file suggests. (RPR) with out these files, you will never be able to run that game, If the setup install program and steams updating system, still can not render the icon or file associations on toyr system, then something is wrong with the OS. Start with this first, Desktop Start button, Programs, Default Programs and go set all things to default. Uninstall the games. Clean up the system, reboot, run Uniblue registry cleaner to repair all the damage to your OS, Use cclener to clean up the drives cache and Irronious garbage it finds, run that program 5 times each session, Then us it to fix registry problems, and reboot the PC again, re run cclener and check for registry entry's , If you find even more stuff not the same as before, then you have a trojgen on your system, Trend has been compromised and you have been fooled into thinking you can not be infected. If it comes up empty. we can continue with the default OS repairs and get you in to the game.

Your still missing files, Steam.dll and others, I will get the list of files when I return home, I am out of town right now, Not my machine, I am on a downloading spree to obtain all the most massive of files to look over, I am stuck unless I have that data in front of me so I keep checking in from time to time. Some anti virus programs don't have the newer games signature in their data base so, it will block items it can not read. This has always been true for these games. Some where on this sites main menu, I think it was in the nexus wiki, I am not sure, it states to disable you anti viral and add blockers to install these games. Once you have every thing operating, you can reestablish those programs. I use Microsoft security essentials which has these games listed as ok in their data base, Bben, mod has mentioned this too. Ok now I see why, No you can not install this game with outside programs jumping in to say yes or no, that's why your having these problems. You see, I knew something was up ! I also want you to inspect that DVD disc, Plastic media , the top layer may be to thin so the optic lens does not reflect back enough, What happens ids the files appear to be intact on the drive but the code can have gaps in ti, like a light overlay, Weak DVD rom reader can also create your issue, Both games, something has to be very wrong some where for you to have this much difficulty. Can you give me a screen shot of the game's directory showing all the files as they are now, Where the executable is. I aggree with you on that, I have a much lower end machine than yours and have had problems with the megaton Overhaul mod and the textures over haul mod too. Eh, I had better fish to fry so I will let that go for a while, Not yours, yours is all new, When I get those files, You know I'm gonna check em out for you. I believe Folks learn from the past and apply gained knowledge to their new works. With this attitude in mind, I apply this to what ever I look into, Turn over every rock, and so on. heh, it just takes a lot of time and concentration to get it done.
