  1. You have not had replies to this as it does not relate to Skyrim itself or any specific problem in the game itself or a mod. However, I do know plenty about Asperger's, so I feel some response is in order. First, you need to set out what you want to say elsewhere and then copy it into place when it is ready and properly checked. Otherwise you will often find that you have said things you did not really want to say. You will also cut down on the spelling mistakes, grammatical areas and incoherent phrases. Are you also dyslexic? There are frequent requests for help on these forums for which the answers are already available here or on posts for individual mods or even in their instructions. Where people have spent a lot of time developing mods only to give them away it is not surprising that sometimes their patience is a little thin. Remember, you have no right to expect anything more from them, unlike the game producers who should at least have the (unmodded) game in working order.
  2. There's a lot of very old stuff in that list. Some of it has been ported from Oldrim but not maintained. Even Elianora's Breezehome had mesh issues when I tried it again, and I like her work. Why is Immersive Citizens so far down and without patches? I used the TNF houses a lot in LE years ago, but I don't any more. Also I'm wary of mods like ELFX that need so many patches. How do you keep track of them?
  3. I remove or redo anything from my plugins/mods that has a query against it. You have to be ruthless. Coming back to Skyrim and using SE for the first time I had no trouble getting into Falskaar or Forgotten City (assuming you are using the SE version), but, sad to say, I would no longer recommend either. I did these with my first new playthrough before adding SKSE and all the extras that then became available, so if you really want to see them, keep it simple.
  4. I'd forgotten this one, but it says I downloaded it 5 years ago. Coming back to Skyrim I was gradually losing hope for Fight against the Thalmor, but that suddenly came to SE recently, so there is always a chance if reminders are given.
  5. This sort of thing needs to go on the forum or post page of the mod itself where it will be seen by those who are interested.
  6. I was going to suggest that. Also try Rigmor, although that's harder to incorporate into a general campaign. With Anna's NPCs it sounds like you won't want the extra mod (by someone else) that does them up (nor do I).
  7. Good idea. I'd been thinking I'd never bother with Falskaar again. The only proper town was destroyed and none of the remaining buildings are of any interest visually. The 'port' is on the wrong side - it would be quicker to walk back through the tunnels. I would recommend that the mages move their college there to continue their research in peace and quiet and no longer annoy their neighbours. Also the monastery could house a religious wing with plenty of stained glass and a warrior monk wing with a more spartan look with different musical backgrounds. Anyway, how did they find such armies when there was nowhere for most of them to live?
  8. I also have RDO with EFF, so that may well be the answer. I thought Jaxonz Positioner had not been adapted for SE.
  9. Are there any recent reviews of the main crafting mods? With Smelting plus and Skyrim Recycling etc what is the best setup?
  10. How are you loading the mods? Read lots of these posts for various problems. You will learn a lot.
  11. 1) Depends on the mod you use. Up to 100. 2) Yes, if you want. 3) Why make someone a steward if you want them as a follower? 4) No, although someone may have made this possible. Do want her to suffer like you? 5) I used AFT with LE. I now use EFF. Either would do. If you use more than 4 you will find yourself regularly blocked in rooms etc when inside and will have more CTDs outside. Get Erandur, Mjoll and Vilja or Sofia and you will never feel lonely again.
  12. Not enough information. What are you doing with "showracemenu"? What sort of armor are you changing? (Vanilla or mod?) How can you be ending the Dawnguard DLC if you are only now reading the elder scrolls? Have you been changing your mods?
  13. I suspect a memory problem. You are very heavy on scripts. I sometimes have crashes near junction areas if I move too far too fast. Give the box time to catch up. Do AFT and UFO work together? Falskaar was very good for its time. When I came back to Skyrim I went through it again with my first character. But no more. It is not really very interesting, although if you like confusing pitched battles you get 2.
  14. That follower fighting used to happen. I can remember Erandur being bashed by others, but that may have been because he was so irritating. I don't think I have had it with SE. So why not? The first thing that comes to mind is that I used AFT with LE but am using EFF with SE. Also I may have something among my mods that prevents friendly fire, which of course could cause trouble. Actually, I'm sure that was it, which was why mages were more likely to be attacked.
  15. There used to be a nice Japanese house available in the same place as Riverside. What happened to that? I agree about the overkill. Please, no more mannequins, display cabinets, barrels, beast trophies, even weapon racks. Maybe keep one house for all that stuff, but for our people to live in could we just have something nice? And looking like a dwelling not a maze. There are a few mods that make me go 'Wow' but then I find I don't want to use them because of the time taken getting around them.
  16. Seeing that I went straight to get the PO mod. However, I rather like the new way of starting the DB quests and I'm sure some of these ideas could be combined. It would not be possible to engage in rescues of potential victims after removing the available assassins without a lot of elaboration, so hard choices would have to be made. Pick a few of your favourite ideas and pass them to the PO modder. Sub-plot - where did a certain small boy get his information about the DB?
  17. I like looking at the variety of player homes that have been designed. There are a few people who have become experts in this. You would need to explain why you cannot use one of those homes already created as your base. What is your exceptional requirement? In your position I could think of several that are worth considering, although I would prefer them without most or all of the mannequins and most of the display cabinets and thereby most of what is for me wasted space.
  18. Most of these look fairly innocuous. However, I did not see SkyUI on the list. Surely you need that? Check the requirements. As for patience, if you lack that, modded games are not for you.
  19. OK, back to the beginning. Do you have the latest updates for all your equipment, especially the graphics card? I'll assume you have sufficient CPU, RAM etc. Do you have any background programs running? Vortex often leaves one hanging that does not show up on Task Manager. Make sure you are logged out if you are using that. Check your antivirus settings and any other updaters. Norton has thrown me out of Skyrim in the past. Go through your start-up programs. Do you really need them?
  20. Beyond Reach claims to be the equivalent of 3 provinces. Bruma is also big. To this you add Vigilant, Forgotten City and Moonpath. Then you add Sofia, Inigo and Lucien, alll proudly proclaimiing how much dialogue they include. I had a sufficiently advanced character with a stable save before adding Forgotten City and trying it out. I then went back to the original save and removed it. Although worth playing there was nothing there worth returning to. I have tried Beyond Reach in the same way. As recommended for some other mods (such as Rigmor) I would keep that for a separate playthrough without much else. Sofia and Inigo are entertaining for a time, but if you want to use a lot of scripts you are better off without them. Does Hearthfire Extended work with other additions to Lakeview?
  21. There are duplications in this list. There are also missing files. FG has its own version of Amorous Adventures which on its own can give serious trouble to vanilla quests if actions are not carried out in the perfect order (ideally vanilla quests out of the way first). Many mods now expect USSEP, Qwinn is handy. Have another look at the descriptions and requirements. I don't like the Civil War. Who wants to put Maven in charge of Riften or SliverBlood over Markarth? (Though you do get rid of the idiot in Pale or Falkreath).
  22. 1) Killed NPCs - they often used to fall off into inaccessible places, but recently they seem to leave their weapon behind all the time, so maybe one of the general fixes has dealt with it. 2) Items positioned incorrectly - in a game this size and with so many mods this is to be expected occasionally. I had one character who found bandits walking around with no clothes and, worse, no heads, so I abandoned that save. 3) arrows - never had that. 4) NPCs stuck etc - what else do you have going on in Riverwood? (Rigmor, for example). I have had Hadvar confused by a random attack from bandits across the river while approaching Riverwood. I had to speak to Alvor without him. In many starts this has only happened once. I don't think I have ever rented a room at the Bannered Mare. Why would you, when you can stay free at somewhere more comfortable like Elysium? Sliding - I have more trouble with followers banging into me when I'm trying to do something. As for the time lag - is this more with mods than vanilla, is it worse outside than inside, is it longer if you have not recently saved, how many cells have you just crossed? In other words, how busy has your system been?
  23. The files picked up manually are exactly the same as installed by Vortex, but I have found that the FOMOD directory for SkyUI has an additional file that has something to do with Bodyslide. Reinstalling SkyUI usually brings up a box asking whether I want the new FNIS file or the old, so clearly there is some connection and perhaps Vortex is not handling that correctly. I now see from a post elsewhere that Immersive Citizens can cause trouble, but I'll be sorry to have to pull that out.
  24. Interested to see that about Immersive Citizens. Rigmor recommends a dedicated playthrough and I have one that is going well enough, but I can see how it could conflict with others so I disable it for other plays (and disabled other big quest mods for that one from the start). Good luck with Beyond Reach. You will need special glasses and a hearing aid. (A pity, because there is good stuff in there).
  25. Your post shows severe signs of panic. Instead of deleting and reinstalling, read through a variety of these posts on different problems, many of which will give general useful advice. For a start, you need to tell us your setup to show it is good enough for the game. Then say how you start the game and what else is running at the time (no downloads, no Vortex etc). The start of the game does not like competition on the graphics card.
