  1. To summarize I think this would be the suggestion for Dark0ne to consider as far as policy goes: LLab is attempting to get rid of the anti-nexus stigma and is closing any threads that bash on nexus staff. I would say that shows there is no animosity from the LLab staff and therefor the site name should be allowed to be mentioned, remove the filter and allow *site not allowed*. LLab has pornographic adds, since you do not want to link to websites that have them I suggest leaving the no-link policy in tact. People can instead give the thread title on *site not allowed* so that people can easily google/search the thread for themselves. That way links will not be needed. ----------------- I'm leaving the child raising subject out since that is irrelevant to website policy.
  2. Because a friend asked me to help him and it turned out to be very fun.
  3. I don't see banners because I use addblock. However I still think it's very irresponsible to let a child of that age onto the nexus (or the internet in general) unsupervised. Also you can just very easily add the website to the blocked websites list in your browser. Most webbrowsers have very simple ways to filter out mature content, if you're letting your kids use your computer freely I suggest you take a look into that because they will be finding and actively looking for porn and dirty stuff even at a young age. Boys will be boys. Still doesn't explain why the word loverslab has to be blocked though. You have many ways to avoid your kids from ever seeing that website: Adding the webpage to your filter. Not going to loverslab. Not allowing your kids to browse the nexus unsupervised. I mean if your logic is: But they can find the link and find dirty stuff. Must I remind you that the same counts for google, bing, wikipedia, youtube etc etc? There's dirty stuff everywhere it is your job as a parent to decide what is safe for your child no need to sensor a modding website (which isn't meant for kids that age anyway) in such a ridiculous way, as in not even allowing the word. Not allowing pornographic links I get, but even blocking the word itself and links to non-pornographic mods?
  4. I'm sorry but what is your five year old going to see over your shoulder? A bunch of text? It's not like the word LLab is going to harm your kid. Nor is a link to Llab because as far as I know you need an account to download anything there and it would be next to impossible that you accidentaly browse to a mod that facilitates rape while you have a five year old watching. Nearly every picture or link within loverslab is hidden with spoilers anyway.
  5. Yes I did. I agree with the hypocritical stance re certain mods (prostitution etc ) All the same, I can't find justification in any mod that advocates rape or child abuse. I'm not saying that you do. I'm just saying that these things worry me. That post specifically states his mod is not made for that kind of stuff. That's like blaming FNIS or nude body textures for rape mods.
  6. Eh? Did you bother to actually read Ashal's post?
  7. For the same reason the site does not talk about and link other pirate stuff like certain pirate torrents more then likely as they are ILLEGAL, although only Dark0ne himself can answer ultimately. Your PM was not dismissed because you are from a certain site, it was dismissed by it was the usual "Hes da mest moddeh everz!!" every one else must be wrong/should be able to get away with it and that we did not even check the details of the initial report. This is a common theme with a certain group/type of individuals who frequent that site, the same type who are well known for their silly bashing of Nexus rules and bans. There is actually some very kool people who are regulars of that site, some I have even suggested to be staff members in the past when I was a chat mod. Yeah sure mate. *knowing your from that site explains a certain PM*. Dark0ne sees through you and so does everyone else. I don't really feel like derailing this thread further if you are sincere reply to my PM in private instead of dragging this in public for no reason.
  8. Dark0ne here's a recent thread on the nexus - loverslab relation with a post by the site owner: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/44348-why-not-on-nexus/
  9. But then why not stick to not allowing those types of mods on here? There's no reason to not allow any mention of the website. And for the record, I'm not arguing because I'm a big fan of loverslab, I argue this matter because I think it's wrong to censor like this.
  10. Wow way out of line there micalov. Dismissing my opinion and bringing my personal message to you into the public envorionment purely because you have a vague assumption that I might be a LL community member? And no I do not regularly visit LL the only time I go to that website is to get sevenbase armor conversions. You seem to know al lot about these child related mods though, do they really have those? If so I haven't seen any on there. You seem to visit LL more often than me since you seem to know more about it than me. Do you really think a staff member should be dissing someone purely because they supposedly visit LL often? I think you should reconsider your staff position with this kind of behavior.
  11. Dark0ne loverslab made it a policy a while ago to lock any threads that bash on the nexus instantly. They want to lose the stigma of being a nexus bash site, imo you should embrace that.
  12. My guess that tiny bit of damage is bleed damage, it works for me.
  13. Skytweak has an option for this. And no it's not a script it's a variable you can set in the MCM.
  14. There is nothing wrong with the word immersive. The mod makes playing a dawnguard or vampire character more immersive and thus the title is justified. I would however change the title to be more descriptive because dawnguard is a bit too general. Change it to immersive dawnguard sentries.
  15. Converting the file makes it very quiet, before converting you need to triple the volume with a program like audacity.
  16. Reinstall your flora and lod related textures, had this same issue before and that fixed it.
  17. You uninstalled or disabled a .esp so the patch was missing a master file. You only need to rerun the patcher if you uninstall or install something (especially when you uninstall something with a .esp else it insta crashes).
  18. Try opening your spell mods in tes5edit (including perma mage and patchus) and search for the candlelight spell, see what the changes are you'll probably find one of them changes it badly.
  19. Aside from the fact this would be very tedious to make I don't understand what the benefit of this would be... at all.. there is just no point to even use this. Making two mods compatible is often as simple as making a bashed patch. Otherwise you need to just make sure they don't overwrite or alter the same thing, which is easily compared in tes5edit. If you want one part of a mod and another part of another mod but both mods do the same thing you can just use tes5edit to cut out the stuff in the .esp you don't want.
  20. Sounds like you need to reinstall Skyrim entirely and start working on your mod list from scratch.
  21. Another thing to reduce incompatibilities, make a bashed patch. Here's a guide on how to: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36189/?
  22. This is an old problem, you can only overwrite the same auto or quicksave a couple of times before it crashes. Turn auto saving off in the menu and manually make a new save game every once in a while. Delete auto and quick saves that you no longer need.
  23. Could you post a link? It's not visible on your profile matthias.
