  1. Maybe a concentrated spell that when you cast it creates a portal on the ground, and it slowly sucks magicka, stamina, and health from the player as they are unable to move, but from that portal a dremora will spawn every 20 seconds and will last for 60 seconds or until it is defeated? or maybe a spell that places a rune on the ground that once triggered consumes all of the users magicka but spawns a daedroth (if you can obtain a resource for it) or a couple of dremora? Orrrr, maybe a concentrate spell that summons a dremora/daedroth/anything daedric once you release it, but for every second the spell is being concentrated, the player loses x amount of all 3 attributes, and when they release the spell the conjured beast gets a bonus of all the health/mag/stam that the player lost while casting. ORRRRR, maybe a spell that could summon a ring of dark fire around the caster, and a dremora spawns inside with you that will heal you until the ring is gone, at which point it will attack your enemies? ORRRRRR, maybe you could have another concentrate spell that begins with a big explosion of dark flame that staggers enemies, then as you concentrate the spell, skeletons rise from the ground and start to fight the enemy for you. the have emerge slowly and have limited health but will spawn until the caster takes damage or runs out of magicka. You can see that I like the aspect of concentration spells, summoning dark powers, and having spells that let you rely purely on your dark summons!!
  2. I'm currently looking for a resource that will let me create a dungeon with more of an imperial feel. The Imperial dungeons in vanilla still feel too Nordic for me. I want tight corridors with in-tact walls and archways, clean stones and low roofs. Something like the dungeon shown at the very beginning of this [ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Uj64iLMRlE ] video for SkyBlivion. It's tight, it's not riddled with moss and rubble, it has believable architecture, and frankly it's exactly what I want for a small dungeon quest that I plan to work on. If anyone could direct me to such a resource, it would be appreciated :)
  3. What I like to do is download PC Head tracking and Voice Type ( http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72039/? ) and then add in my own voice files that I've taken from other games that include realistic dialogue as opposed to the family friendly dialogue that vanilla Skyrim ships with. Something to consider trying at the least.
  4. This is by no means a sexist request. Such a mod could increase immersion and realism by conisderable amounts. I want it to, in fact, as well as a tremendous increase in racism in the game against nonhuman races. It adds immersion in my playthrough which is modeled after The Witcher series' gritty and realistic universe. Sadly, Beth made this game very PC and polite which is a positive PR choice, but not a positive gameplay choice imo. Someone get on this, and if anyone can direct me to a mod that increases the racism against nonhumans I would be very grateful
  5. whats the name of the mod?? im actually at work cannot open nexusmods. i will look at it as soon as posible. Oh my.. I somehow managed to forget to link the mod  Forgive me! I was tired lol, here, this is it: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/79752/? It looks like a pretty simple mod, nothing too frilly or over the top, but it can likely provide you with that witcher feeling that we know and love. The name of the mod, in case you can't open links, is 'Monster Contracts' by Lord_Macdog
  6. UPDATE This was released on the Nexus 2 hours ago as of writing this. I haven't downloaded it or looked into it at all but it may be what you're looking for. Personally I don't really deal in these underground mods like this (ie mods that don't have at least 2k endorsements lol) so I would personally wait until one is released by a professional but maybe this can satisfy you? :)
  7. Fores New Idles in Skyrim, or FNIS did that in past versions I believe. I used to use it, not anymore though, so I couldn't verify. Still a good place to start though :)
  8. I couldn't do this, however I strongly forward this. It could be just like bounty quests, except with scaled rewards depending on the beast that such contract was place on. It's a Witcher idea alright, but how can anyone blame you for borrowing a concept from the undisputed game of the decade? Someone please make this a reality :)
  9. unpolished idea; accidentally posted; will return to it admins please remove for the time being
  10. My Patchus Maximus has been going for about an hour now, still on weapon stats, so I decided I might as well browse these forums. Always interesting stuff here. Came across yours and since I can't play right now I figure I might as well see if I can find house that matches your criteria. Less abundant than I expected, that's for sure. I came across two houses: 1) Heartwood Cottage - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/20561/? Nothing too fancy and not right on the lake as much as it is on the mouth of the river that connects to that lake, but it's closer to a conventional player home than the following option. I would recommend this house for your typical Skyrim playthrough, as opposed to a super immerisve playthrough. 2) Riften Fishing Shack - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76189/? A very small shack located right beside Riften on the shore of Lake Honrich (the lake you refer to.) The glass panes can break immersion depending on how creative you are and how willing you are to accept that you have a modern window setup in Skyrim, however these days almost every player house has some detail like a running shower or a light switch that breaks immersion, so its minor in comparison. I would recommend this for a survivalist/hunter/fisher (obviously) playthrough. Regrettably I cannot provide you with better options for housing, so if these houses don't satisfy your needs then I suppose you may have to open the Player Homes caregory in Nexus and scan it manually. Good luck!
  11. I am new to modding skyrim, so bear with me! I have tried numerous times to install SkyUI through NMM but keep receiving the following error message during the installation process: Failure A problem occurred during install: Could not load file or assembly '0 bytes loaded from CSharpScript, Version=1.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format. Bad IL format My NMM is up to date, as is my SKSE, and i am launching the game via SKSE Launcher, so I cannot see why this will not work? any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
  12. Okay, I'll remember that, and okay, i'd been looking for standalone MCM but never could seem to find it, haha. Thank you, thank you thank you thank you for the help!
  13. Thank you, you've been immensely helpful. I hope i'm not bothering you when i ask, but are the body mods [uNP, CBBE etc.] necessary? Also, does MCM come as a side feature to SkyUI or is it a standalone mod? Thank you again, I can't stress enough how helpful you've been.
  14. Thank you, I'll definitely take a look. Another question, less important - UNP, CBBE, or any of those female body mods.. do i need them to get the great looking female face? I dont want the overly sexualized look as i'm aiming for the most immersive and realistic experience as skyrim could possibly deliver, however I notice so many follower mods using these body mods that also have hd faces [im not talking about the super soft, anime look - just better than the rather ugly default females]. is there another mod that will give me those looks? Also, do i need to have the body mod that said follower uses if i want to use that follower? I've found many, but i just dont want every female in skyrim walking around with vastly unproportional bodies. Thanks!
  15. I understand, of course - I dont mean to ask you to comb over every mod in the list. My question was more balanced towards the performance and hardware requirements. By the looks of it, does it look like it would need a super-computer to run, or would a casual build run these mods fine? Thank you tons for your input though. I have another, hopefully more realistic question: What are TES5Edit, SKSE, and LOOT? Are they all programs designed to ease the modding process? I've read descriptions of mods that actually mention TES5Edit in great depth, mentioning that I don't have to edit or alter the settings through TES5Edit for x mod to work, that sort of thing, and i'm a little confused? Will I need these programs for most mods? One more question, is MCM a standalone mod, or is it part of SkyUI? I've heard both stories. Again, thanks so much for the help, I hate to bombard you with questions but I appreciate and respect your honest and realist response, so I am tempted to come to you again. Thanks!
