  1. Yeah I just cannot get it to work, I have everything that I need and my anti-virus definitely isn't blocking anything. It just does not work so I have no idea how to do it. Again if I run it from Steam, Mod organizer is not injecting the mods into my game. I used the workaround and those two files are there, but still nothing is happening. I am running Windows 10 and I am using MO version 1.3.... I have no idea.
  2. Yeah everything looks good. I think there is an issue with Oblivion itself, the first time I installed it and ran it, it tried to test my hardware. I have uninstalled it and installed it several times after and it has never tested my hardware again. I must not be fully removing it when I uninstall it and I think that could be where the issues are. The only thing I know to do is to completely uninstall it and install everything else again. For some reason I do not think Steam is doing a good job of uninstalling it, but that could be just me.
  3. So I downloaded OBSE from the Silverlock link and I even used the latest loader and it is still not working for me in MO, but do I run the game from MO or do I run the game from Steam? If I run the game from Steam MO is not injecting the mods and the hook.dll and the mo_path.text files are in the path that you listed. If I run the game from MO, OBSE does not work. I will worry about the Wrye Bash stuff later because if I can't get this to work there isn't much of a point to continue on. Also I know bashed patches are important, but I run Skyrim with about 130 mods and I have never used a bashed patch because all of the mods work without needing one. (My game runs incredibly stable and I rarely have crashes) If you use MO with LOOT and ENboost you are usually good to go. From my understanding and please correct me if I am wrong, but the main reason why people use Wrye Bash is to make two mods that are not usually compatible with each other compatible. In my mod setups I usually try not to mess with stuff like that I and I try to "enhance" my game by keeping it as close to Vanilla as possible. People run into a lot of problems when trying to mix big overhauls together and for me I just don't think I use enough overhauls to justify using Wrye Bash, but I could be wrong :cool: Anyways yeah it is weird why it is not working and I feel stumped :sad:
  4. Well the reason you need to replace the OBSE loader is because that is the workaround to get OBSE to work with Steam- this is the only workaround. I have heard people say it is much easier to mod the physical version of Oblivion as opposed the the Steam version, but the Steam version is all that I have. The main issue that I am having is that MO does not recognize OBSE which means it will not load it- I need to figure out how it will recognize OBSE and as of right now I have not figured it out. I am not going to be modding Oblivion to the extent that I modded Skyrim (probably use about half of the amount of mods) and most of the mods I will be using will be texture replacers. Wrye Bash is a very powerful and complicated tool, but I am probably going to be running less then 80 mods and Wrye Bash really should only be used if you are going to be doing some serious modding i.e. 200+ mods which I think is pretty crazy. Also, the other issue that I am having is that according to this guide, if I do the MO workaround, if I run Oblivion from Steam then MO will inject the mods into my game and this is not happening. If I can figure out how to solve these two problems then I can mod happy. If I can't then I might have to use something besides MO even though MO is one of the best modding tools around.
  5. I have looked up countless guides, have seen a lot of videos and I still cannot get mod organizer, OBSE and Oblivion to play together (I am using the Steam version). I found this extremely helpful and new video series, but I have done everything in the video and I still cannot get it to work: Basically, I have done the workaround for MO, changed the OBSE_Loader and I am still having issues. If I run Oblivion from Steam, mods that I installed via MO are not in game (these don't have to be OBSE mods, any mod doesn't show up). If I use MO and I use OBSE tester, the test fails and it says that OBSE is not working yet my mods that I have installed showed up (I have been testing it with alternate start). If I just run it from steam (I manually installed OBSE tester) then OBSE tester passes with flying colors). I seem to be missing a piece of the puzzle here and I just cannot figure it out. In the above video series that user makes it so easy, but what he is doing just isn't working for me. Can someone please help?!
  6. UPDATE Well the CTDs have dramatically decreased, but they are still happening pretty frequently. I have change the ini settings, added memory patches, added enbost and added mods that help prevent crashing yet I am still having pretty frequent crashes (even though they have significantly gone down). I am wondering since I have so many mods if I should be doing something else?
  7. I have been running a test: From the Halls of the Vigilant I have been trying to make my way to Dawnstar- and I have crashed on the way there several times. (I have CTD 10 times out of 10 times) I have tried disabling certain suspect mods, installing compatibility patches, but nothing seemed to work. I finally decided to uninstall Skyrim Flora Overhaul and as a replacement I am now using Unbelievable Grasses Two and Trees HD Skyrim variation. I have finally made it to Dawnstar without crashing which to me means that Skyim Flora Overhaul was the suspect mod here. I have no idea why, but the latest version of SFO is EXTREMELY performance heavy and unstable to the point that I will get CTDs. I will continue to monitor my progress, but for now my CTDs are less frequent.
  8. Well its definitely not MorrowLoot... it could be Immersive Creatures or Better Fast Travel, but I will have to see. It could also be the textures mods that I am using which I really hope is not the case.
  9. Is there a way to find out what mod is crashing my game? I actually think my game is crashing because I have no many graphic mods running at once. I need to figure out a way to keep a stable performance even though I have a monster of a card. The really weird thing is that when I used my old Radeon HD 7950, the game seemed to be a lot more stable as opposed to my new Radeon R9 390 which is pretty freaking weird.
  10. At this point I think it has to do with a mod conflict, but it's strange because it only happens outside. I'd say at this point that the game is unplayable and I'm only using 87 plug-ins.
  11. Yeah I am using the lazy one... but I am still having pretty frequent crashes so I do not know what I am doing wrong.
  12. Is there something that you recommend over Skyrim Flora Overhaul? I guess I can run Verdant for the grass, but then I am not sure what I should run for trees. I have an EnbBoost for my GPU, but I don't think I have done anything for my CPU- can you recommend something for that? Thanks again!

(if I am in a building, cave or dungeon, I never crash). I have a lot of knowledge in the installation of mods, but when things don't work, I don't have a lot of knowledge when it comes to troubleshooting. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if more info is needed I would be more than happy to give it. (I also have a lot of ini tweaks which include the z-fighting fixes)
  14. Video no go huh? Alright here are some more options: 1. Can u right-click (in steam) -> Delete local content -> Go to Steam Library folder (Whichever HDD you installed ur steam games on) -> delete the Skyrim folder (It still contains files, this is a proper re-install :smile:) -> re-install skyrim? 2. Can you right-click(in steam) -> properties -> Local Files -> Verify integrity of game cache? 3. Unsure, try those two. If none worked let me know and I'll see if I can think of something else. I have this open in a tab and will refresh it every hour or so :wink:. We will solve this, I insist, don't argue with me I am rather stubbourn :tongue: EDIT: Typos! I did the second option and while it worked I ran into a new problem: The game crashes right before the menu now. I am guess that it sort of disabled SKSE, I don't know why it did that, but there should be no conflicts between mods at this point.
  15. A weird thing happens to me. Lets say I have 450 Carry Weight and I have 300 or so of that weight being used. When I become a werewolf my stats obviously go up because I am in werewolf form, however, when I revert back to human my carry weight goes down to 255 and my weight being used is around 450 making me over encumbered. The really weird thing is that there seems to be no items in my inventory that is holding me down that much. What exactly is going on here and is there any way to fix it? I like this mod a lot because it brings not only a lot more depth to the game, but it reminds me of the Oblivion leveling system (which it is suppose to be) which in my opinion is superior to Skyrim's leving system even with its imperfections. I have several mods that are in effect, yet the main ones that probably should be a variable here are Third Era Attributes and Moonlight tales + Werewolf mastery. I know this has happend to me before with out using these mods and I am trying to figure out what is exactly going on. It seems like I need to drop Third Era Attributes, but I just want to make sure. If it is some kind of conflict glitch between these mods then it would appear that I have to start my gamne over since I am now level 22 :(

  17. Yeah thats definitely not it because I don't have the folder called "SKSE". I remember I changed the names of a few things when I originally did it. This was awhile ago and for some reason I cannot find the same guide. It was a guide that was on Steam that was not a video. Now I am sort of stuck because I cannot get into the launcher to load my new mods unless someone else knows how to get into the launcher and bypass what I did to my exe files.
  18. Yeah I tired both ways and it isn't working. There use to be a guide on steam (not the one that you showed me) but I can't seem to find it now.
  19. There are some mods that I got from the Steam Workshop, but I can run the Skyrim Launcher because a couple years ago I made it so that SKSE will launch through steam. I cannot find the exact guide that I used so I am wondering how I can run the launcher and install the mods since the launcher no longer exists or works.
  20. At this point I have tried everything. I have even used Wrye bash, but nothing seems to be working. Please note that that last error I get in regards to Dragonborn seems to be a bug. I do not have the Dragonborn DLC, but just to be on the safe side I have disabled it.
  21. So I have always played a modded game, and I have gotten familar with BOSS, Loot, and TES5Edit. I recently just installed 5 new mods which include, Deadly Mutilations, Moonlight tales and Werewolf mastery (I used the compatibility versions), Adjusted race heights and the blacksmith water fix. After installing these mods, my game now crashes right before the main menu. I have deactivated and reactivated these mods and I cannot figure out what is going on. In my BOSS report it says I am missing Dragonborn.esm, but I don't even have Dragonborn installed and to my knowledge these are all mods that use either vanilla or the Dawnguard DLC.   23. Okay so I finally got this thing to work... now the reason for Wrye Bash is so that I can make two modes compatible with each other; Capucines Eyes, and MMM's Resized Races. How do I do this? Thanks!
  24. I finally got it to work but now I keep getting a fatal error when doing the distant land setup wizard. It says: A fatal error occurred creating the landscape meshes. Distant land setup cannot continue. Unable to find an entry point named 'TessellateLandscape' in DLL 'MGE/MGEfuncs.dll'. What does this mean and how do I fix it? I am soooo close!
