@corrandk What? Now I understand the moon landing conspiracy theories (just a joke in case no one gets my sense of humor). But seriously, I guess all that is possible as there were airplanes long long ago, but I wonder why we haven't colonized the planets and done lots more exploring if one can go to the moon on a calculator.

I had to look up "Godus" on kickstarter....what is wrong with it? Just wondering. What is the dark side? I have backed Project Eternity and I am really looking forward to it being developed and released (sometime in 2014 I think). It is being developed by Obsidian Entertainment and so I feel a little bit comfortable with spending my husband's money! :P I do wonder, though, about the future of Kickstarter when "sue-crazy" people and lawyers get involved. I recently read on the BBC website that Kickstarter is being sued over the promotion of a 3d printer that may have violated a patent. I would really hate to see a great idea like Kickstarter done away with because of greedy people. Edit: No offense to lawyers, btw!

try reinstalling firefox

I would start turning things off.

I would check all settings within firefox, including add-ons (especially "no script" and "ad block"), on your firewall, etc. I am using firefox (with many add-ons), and have been for 2 and a half years or so, without incident. I would also suggest a virus scan. I realize I am probably insulting your intelligence but I don't mean it as such. It definitely sounds like a problem at your end though. Sorry. Maybe your firewall or anti-virus is denying access?

I love this site too (no matter what some people may think) but as I am already a lifetime member, I tend to donate my extra money to children's charities.
