  1. Hi guys Before special edition came out there was some large mod packs with several hundred mods like "Skyrim legendary edition = SR:LE" or "SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn" for oldrim. I never came around to us those packs since special edition came out. And now I have been waiting for more than a year and to my disappointment I have not found any packs in that size and scope for special edition. Anyone knows of any packs that size that exists, is in the making or is planned for special edition?
  2. Lets pray to the SKSE gods, maybe something will happen :)
  3. Oh my GOD!!!! The reason why there are 80+ pages in this thread is because no one is going back and reading anything. That exact question has been directly and accurately answered at least 5 times now, along with any other question that has already and will again pop up. I want to keep notifications on for this thread for useful things, not for stupid (stupid because of the repetition) questions. Also yes it appears that the original skse team has found better things to do to support their families, but that doesn't mean that skse64 is dead. Yes it will take a while because new hands are taking a go at it, but Jesus, be patient, and most importantly, look and see if the answer to your question is already here before you ask again. You'll probably find your answer faster than you will get a genuine response anyway. On another note... while skse team can't take any money because of contacts they signed with the companies they work for, since there are a couple of people looking for qualified people to help complete skse64, I am completely on board with funding a truly qualified programmer, to sit down and finish it instead of random people taking a stab at it and realizing it's harder than they thought. I get what you are saying, but you cant expect everyone to read 82 pages to find some information, that will take me hours. So yeah, its not ideal, but I do it to save time.;) Back on topic, thanks for the info, funding a qualified programmer is a good idea.
  4. @ is that serious that they dont take money? Then I wonder why that is. I can imagine that there is thousands of people siting and waiting for skse64 and many as me is probably willing to pay for the value it will bring.
  5. This is not good news, Im still waiting for skse64 to play this game for the first time and now it is not sure it ever going to be one...anyway I really hope i will come out sooner than later. Any chance this can be push forward with donations to motivate the skse64 team? Im willing to help out with 50 USD. Anyone else?
  6. Hi guys I had the most important skyrim mods downloaded but my harddisk crashed 2 weeks ago, and before I had time to download all the mods again it was removed from nexus. I even made a small donation to the author so I wonder if a kind soul would be so kind to share v1.16 with me. Thanks for any help :)
  7. First of all thank you very much for a great site. I spend way too much time here. My results: 1. All servers was quick, less than 2 sec 2. I have 100mbit/s download and 5 mbit/s upload. 3. I live in Norway and is premium user for life  I have problems with viewing pictures on skyrim nexus. The mod pages load quickly, files take like 5 sec to start download after pressing DL links and download speed is ok. But opening pictures for viewing often take between 3-6 sec. So there is potential to make it easier and less frustrating to look at pictures. Anyway, keep up the good work
  8. Thanks for your reply vram1974 At the moment I have a fresh install with only SKSE installed so no ENB atm.
  9. I have done some research and I wonder if this has anything to do with that my monitor is 60hz. In other games when I turn of vsync I can get up to 250 fps but in Skyrim it stops as 60 fps. I have a good computer with 2xGTX 980 in sli, 4790k @ 4,8Ghz and 16G ram @ 2933mhz.. I want to run some benchmarks with different mods so this is freaking annoying. Do I need a 120/144hz monitor to get Skyrim to show more than 60 fps?
  10. sorry never heard about that issue. Only time I have had issues with SKSE is when I have done a backup on my computer at the same time I was playing. Then I had to reinstall SKSE.
  11. After what I have read this can happen if you have some files/mods that is missing a master file, but then it most of the time crash on start-up before you reach the game menu.
  12. Hi guys I just installed Skyrim again but my fps never gets above 60. If Im not wrong last time I used a fps capper at 90 fps to avoid strange physics problem and Im pretty sure my fps was above 80 often, but now I cant make it go above 60. I have set iPresentInterval=0 to disable vsync. Please help me guys to remove this fps cap if there is any and make it possible to run higher fps than 60. I have no interest in discussing if it is smart or not to go above 60 fps. Thanks for any help Cheers
  13. I dont know especially what mods that is gone but more than 1000-2000 mods have disappeared from nexus over the last week. Some popular mods like midas magic is set to hidden and others is not available. Anyway, if you can't let go of your anger stop being angry at the modders and turn your anger toward the source for this fiasco. Bethesda and valve screwed up this big time and they screwed over many good modders in the process. The modders was presented with an opportunity, and they have all the rights in the world to do what they want with their time and the mods they have created. Anyway lets focus on uniting the community again and reach out a hand to those that was caught in the crossfire. oh a good news, SkyUi team will release skyUi 5.0 on nexus after next SKSE update :D
  14. I just made 5 donations of 5 USD and I dont really have any extra money to spend but it was worth it :) I support "mod authors appreciation day", great idea.
  15. I really hope Valve and Bethesda will say sorry to the modders that took the risk and made their mods available for this project. Those modders have made some amazing mods and contributed a lot to the community, and Bethesda asked them to help with the launch. They was asked to not say anything and they took time to create new mods and updates of extremely popular mods. Those guys did nothing wrong and I really hope to see more of their creations in the future. If you want to be angry, be angry at valve and Bethesda, it was those that made this thing into a farce. They should have spoken with the community, found ways to create values both for modders and users and the should not have done this with surprise. When done like this people will be upset and they will feel loss. Everyone that feel loss will fight back.
  16. In response to post #24733199. #24733474, #24733594, #24733919, #24733969, #24734114, #24734584, #24734984, #24735109, #24735199, #24735449, #24735464, #24735474, #24735764, #24735829, #24736169, #24736484 are all replies on the same post. Remember that this is what normally happen when change and new rules get pulled down on peoples head without any warning. This was neither the mod makers fault or the users fault, they felt they was cheated, this was all done by Valve and Bethesda for not doing what should have been done when change is on the agenda. Anyway, some users overstepped and their actions should not be tolerated. But lets look forward and try an unite the community again, lets get this farce created by valve and Bethesda out of our system.
  17. I just want to say something about how people reacted in this farce from valve and Bethesda. When you try to create change some simple rules need to be followed, and Valve and Bethesda did not follow this rules so its their own making that the community reacted with resistance and went into chaos. When dealing with change communication, involvement and creating value is critical and non of this was done. The community was caught totally by surprise, they did not involve the community or communicated their ideas, and worse, they made almost all feel that they lost something. People felt cheated, ripped off and treated unfairly. If this was done in a company the same thing would have happen, just in a little less outspoken way. So lets focus on uniting the community again and reach out a hand to those that was caught in a crossfire and that got scared away.
  18. yup and that was good. With this farce Valve and Bethesda have shown that they only care about money, nothing wrong with that, but please dont act like it is about anything else. And to push that policy down on a community based on free sharing is just stupid. I really hope some people will be kicked for this farce. And from now please follow common curtsey and use communication and transparency to win trust and maybe something good can come from this.. The subject about paid mods and opportunity for good modders to make a living is not dead and should not be, but Valve and Bethesda have shown us all that they have no clue about modding or how to approach a modding community. Also the workshop have never been a great platform for mods, and the way it works with auto-updates really kill modding. Downloading files right into data folder is not optimal either and overwriting and conflicts will happen. For the workshop to be a good palttform for modding auto-updates should be turned off or made optional and the files should be downloaded to a separate directory to be used in mod organizers or manually. Now lets unite the community again and reach out to those that got a lot of heat during this farce.
  19. Many people is unhappy about new pay for mods and this create a lot of load on steam
  20. After steam workshop opened up for selling mods, two of our great modders have received a undeserved amount of critic from the community for putting a few of their mods up for sale. This two guys have given us a lot of fun and they deserve our support. To be honest the work they have done for this community really deserve payment, and it is not up to us to decide what they do with with what they have created. The work done by these guys have been so good that it caught Bethesda and valves attention and that deserve respect. So please guys join me in shoving respect and support to isoku and Chesko for the awesome mods they have created for this community. Cheers
  21. I finally seem to have found the issue here and ironically it was something that was already mentioned in the ENB readme. When I got the GTX 980 I started overclock with PrecisionX from EVGA + using ingame overlay from riva statistic server. This is from the readme: If game crashing on startup, make sure you are not running XFire, Afterburner, EVGA and other kind of that tools. Antiviruses and various fake boosters also affect mod wrong way. So what can we learn from this? read the readme :wallbash: I really need the custom fan controller setup from PrecisionX and similar so I have to find a workaround to make this work.
  22. Thanks for your reply Reynard131 Maybe it has something to do with the drivers but I think many GTX980 users dont have a problem like me so it dont seem to be a common issue, at least not according to google :)
  23. Ok it seem to be ENB that cause skyrim to crash both in main menu and when loading/starting games. If I manage to get ingame it dont crash it seems. I have tried to change some settings in enblocal.ini but no luck so far. Im also only using speed and not any visual enhancement from ENB. Is any other gtx 980 user having issues with ENB? Any suggestions guys?
  24. A small update. I did all above and I have no crashes so far when running from original game launcher without and mods or tweaks, all is vanilla. I have restarted game 10 times and started a new game each time and as said no problems so far. But when I try to run game from mod organizer with STEP core + extended installed game crash in main menu from time to time. The funny thing is that when I go back to start from original launcher without any mods I suddenly start to get main menu crashes here also. Whatever issue I have with mod organizer seem to transfer to vanilla game also. So I wonder if it is some kind of cache or something else that create this problem. what about SKSE and ENB since they run from skyrim folder?
  25. Thanks for information Reynard131. The only thing is that many people dont have any issues with gtx 980 and skyrim so maybe our problems have something to do with the combination of certain hardware we use or other software interfering. Anyway I also started to overclock right after I got gtx 980 and I also overclocked my cpu more so maybe that can be related to this, so I dont think it is a hardware/software issue but just something I have done wrongly, only time will show. So this is what Im doing now: 1. Removing anything that have to do with steam (cleaning registry also) 2. Removing all overclocking 3. Reinstall nvidia drivers 4. Reinstall Steam 5. Reinstall skyrim I will updated when I have done this.
