Yeah, I did LIKE Talisa. She was certainly preferable to the nothingness of plain Jeyne, but I think I get slightly annoyed at the obvious dramatisation and romanticising of the book's plot. I shouldn't, of course. Screen media and print media are very different beasts, so obviously the creators of each will treat events differently and there's nothing wrong with that. TV Danaerys is better than book Danaerys. The reason I rushed to read the books was because I was so in love with...

... with Dany that I needed to know what happened to her, but she comes across as a weaker, less compelling character in the book.

OMG, I read in the newspaper on the weekend something about a man in Taiwan who killed himself because he felt disconnected from his grandchildren (and presumably other people) because they were always on their social media thingies. He tried to get into social media, but he just couldn't, so ... the end. Poor, poor man :(

Omg! The 14 old boy is now 16 years old and I spoke with him a few days ago and he said that he is really annoyed by same-aged about their mobile phone and facebook behaviour. Nobody would really talk with each other- everybody is starring on his/her phone.

I don't understand why the kids don't learn how to use these new social networks at school. How they can protect them and where the risks of f-book, twitter etc. are.

My classmates used to spend every free second they could on this social site during computer classes and it was before Facebook. I was the only one who did something else *cough*playing Spider Solitaire*cough* XD

 

Some people don't seem to acknowledge your existence if you're not on one of those stupid sites. Sadly it's a true story. I wish I was lying.

Well, I kind of understand it if British people want to go on about it, because they're their royal family, but we're on the other side of the world. Even though theoretically they're our royal family too. I guess.

And the colour pie tests do seem pretty indecisive, but I pretend that the dual-colour represents a Ravnica guild instead of a literal mana colour. And I'd totally take a racial test that had obptions like half-orc khajit from the dwemer ruins. But I think those are called "Mary Sue" tests...
