Good thread, I like this one. It seems a bit silly that a creature like a troll would ignore my companion because he submits. Incidently , I did lose Uthgerd the unbroken to an enemy mage once, I also lost Lydia to Bandits...

I'm merely being hypothetical, you just don't bash a concept because you don't like it, the people who still want it, still want it. A little more polish to skyrim's movement system could do wonders. well, had he posted an actual mod , of course I wouldnt 'bash' it, but this post was for a discussion regarding 'attacking whilst jumping'.

There is no mod to download, the OP just said how it should be made and I expressed my opinion as I am free to do so. if people want to get childish about it , thats up to them.

As described , this might be impossible , but thought I would share it anyway... How about a mod where at the start of the game , instead of just creating one character, you create five... you can only play one character at a time , but can switch between them at any point. you can choose one of them as a follower , or more depending on whether that becomes possible. you would also be able to swap items between them to enable dedicated crafters/alchemists etc. This way you could create your own 'player guild' , base yourself somewhere and use different characters for different tasks or different playstyles and create a fully self-sufficent guild. if you could give the 'idle' characters tasks to do whilst you are playing as someone else then you could ask them to go out gathering , or crafting , or patrolling areas etc..

Hi, Im trying to convert a fraps video I took ingame as I want to put some of my own music to it , the problem is that my sequencer (Cubase) will only use Quicktime for its inbuilt video player. Does anyone know of a good way to convert the fraps video to allow quicktime to play it?. If I try to play it in quicktime at the moment I just get a black screen with the audio , I think its because it doesnt like the Fraps FPS1 codec. Thanks.

I'm a musician/composer in my spare time , Ive recently got back into it after a number of years out (doing real life), but just in time for Skyrim! :) I would like to do my bit to help out the modding community for any musical needs for mods or anything else. Before I do this though I would really like to run a few small test projects to check I am able do everything I need on my workstation. Does anyone have any short clips that you would like some music for? , in-game clips would be great , or a small trailer for a mod you have created?, or perhaps a small composition based specifically on your character?, Im looking for clips with no existing music. if you do please let me know , pm me or reply here Cheers! :biggrin:

Hi, I would like to be able to look around at what is going on after Ive been killed in combat. would this be difficult to do? , Ive used the 'tfc 1' command , but it doesnt work when you have been killed. thanks

I completely disagree - too 'gamey' for me.

Lydia died in the first encounter after being appointed as my guardian...to bandits. plenty more fish in the sea....

I would really like to see a mod that would allow you to make a camp with a fire and a bedroll , or tent. Would be great for those times you are stuck out in the wilderness at night. to add balance the camp could cause a percentage chance of attracting a wandering creature/bandits etc...

Now that would be realistic!
