I completely missed these on my first game , got to level 9 before I knew about them , I created a new character and ran into them and though 'Wtf :confused: !?

How about a DLC that enables you to go into a full on PVP arena online? It could enable : Player v player players v creature/s creatures controlled by players v players or other creatures Would be good for bragging rights :)

Hi, If it says in the instructions for a Mod to use 'archininvalidation' and links to a download , do I have to download and install that one ? , or can I just use the toggleinvalidation button in FOMM instead? thanks.

thanks , it turned out one of the esm files was way down below somewhere and a few of the dlc's were in erong order too , played last nigth for two hours without any crashes.

Hi , Ive just installed Fallout 3 from scratch and installed the latest official patch. I then downloaded FOSE, FOMM and the FWE mod. I copied the FOSE files into the fallout3 directory. I then used FOMM to install FWE , I followed the instruction when doing this , this all seemed to go ok. my question is : should I have used the 'toggle archiveinvalidation' button ? (I didnt) , should I have done a merged patch ? (I didnt) - it didnt say you needed to do these in the instructions.. the game is running and fwe is active , but it crashes at certain points , Im wondering if any of those two things I missed would cause the crashing....if so, can I go ahead and do them now after playing for a bit? thanks

Yes, you have to transfer the dlc to the data folder because live doesnt like mods. Use this http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1086. BTW when you install a dlc, you receive a message ingame regarding its quest or an entry on the notes section. It will happen even if you start a new game so you'll know the dlcs where installed. ok thanks. The dlc's were automatically put into the data folder by the install , but I never received the quests or notes when I started the game and left the vault. , I had to tick them in mod manager to get them to appear. they are there now anyway :biggrin:

well, I tried ticking the main DLC esm's to see what happened , and I noticed that they kicked in right away ' it said my level cap was now increased to 30' and various other messages (the pitt etc) , when I started the game from new last week I didnt see any of these , so I assumed that they were unlocked at a later point in the game.. It is the windows live version , so im not sure if that has anything to do with it

HI, I have the FO3 goty edition. When I got into fallout mod manager and install a mod , I have noticed they usually come with plugins for the relevant DLC's. As I havent actually got to the part of the game where these have become unlocked , should I be leaving the DLC's unticked in mod manager? does the same go for the mod files for the relevant DLC's ? ie - project_beauty_thepitt - shouldI leve these unticked? Im guessing that when the DLC becomes activated , I would then need to go into mod manager and tick the relevant mod to enable it? Thanks,

HI , I bought Fallout 3 Goty edition last week , Ive been playing it since , Im really impressed - its so addictive. Then yesterday I stumbled across this site and was blown away yb the amount of mods available. Now I'm thinking that I should of modded my game before I started playing...I was thinkging of going with the FWE mod as it sounds like a a great package. Im just a bit confused as to whether I am able to do this or not on the GOTY edition using the GWL - as I have read several differing opinions. Also on the Fose site it says that it does not support the 1.7 , which is what mine is. Is the anyone here using FWE on the latest goty edition? , any tips on how to get it installed , Im not sure what I should be doing with the DLC packs that came with the game - I would still like to be able to play them Thanks in advance!
