What I would REALLY like is a working flashlight. Like not an improvement of the pipboy light, an actual flashlight. If that's what you guys are already asking then yeah I agree with you. Would make being out alone in a very, very, VERY dark night (Due to URWL, Enhanced Shaders HD and Empirical Weather) a lot more fun. Having your flashlight out means you can see more.. but also means it's going to take you another 5 seconds to pull out your gun and start shooting at whatever is hunting you!

Guess you really are a noob! Haha just kidding.. Anyhow mate, what do you mean by hacks? There are no such things as "Hacks" for Fallout: New Vegas nor is there for Fallout 3. I'm going to assume you mean "Mods" which are the main reason this website exists, as in all the custom files and added weapons, new locations, graphics changers, etc? If that is what you are talking about, sadly PS3 can not use mods. The only thing you can add to your PS3 version of Fallout: New Vegas is patches and official DLC which you will have to pay for when it is released in a few months. Mods are and always have been restricted to PC, mods will never be usable on PS3 or the XBOX360 due to a whole heap of reasons. Mods are a PC only thing, that goes for all games not just Fallout. If you mean "cheats" as in opening the console and using it to cheat, fly, add ammo, make yourself invincible and such, sadly you can not do that on PS3 either. You can only use the console on PC. If you mean something different please correct me so I can help you out. Moral of the story, Buy the game on PC. Ten times the game for 3/4 of the price. Better graphics, better and faster patches, mods, cheats, better community. The list goes on.

Yeah guys who exclusively play as females and download all sorts of mods to make them naked with huge breasts and weird anime/over the top hairstyles are just pathetic. If you want eye candy, alt tab out of fallout and go look up porn like normal people do.

OMG How did I miss this mod PLEASE bring this out for New Vegas.. I would love an exact port of the mod because it will most likely take you 1/10th of the time of completely making a new vehicle usable. That and I never got to fly the vertibird! I would love this mod so much...

Sounds like the kind of mod I would want so pleeeassseee make sure it's compatible with the other well known lighting/weather/graphics mods like URWL, Fellout, Empirical Weather and Enhanced shaders HD(Especially this one)

^ Wrong I use noclip and such all the time to unstuck myself and still get achievements.

Press shift+f10 when you are playing with enhanced shaders HD to turn it on. I believe it automatically is off by default if your computer can't handle it very well. That's how it was on my laptop anyway. Was on by default with my desktop.. work's like a charm too. I really curse the creator of enhanced shaders HD because now I am NEVER going to be able to play without this mod -_- Not really, he's a cool guy

Some of these DLC are pretty buggy you should be happy that you can't get it. If you think the engine is disgusting why you want to play FO3 with NV? And last but not least why do you think Obsidian was forced to use it any sources for this statement? The DLC are not "pretty buggy" or even buggy at all. The ONLY bug with pre order DLC is that the weathered 10mm pistol can not be modded or it won't show the correct mesh. That is the ONLY bug from DLC. The DLC corrupting save bug has nothing to do with pre order DLC. The engine is disgusting, it was made a decade ago. If you had any technical knowledge whatsoever you would understand that GameBryo is an extremely buggy and poor engine, it's amazing Bethesda/Obsidian are able to make the sort of games they do with it. And for Obsidian being forced to use the same engine as Fallout 3, that is EXTREMELY common knowledge and it has been known since New Vegas was first announced. For a source type it into Google, everyone knows this. It was one of the conditions of Obsidian being given permission to make New Vegas.

Yeah I was really hoping the camera would actually be functional in NV but sadly no.. it's left up to modders AGAIN Would be epic if it actually added screenshots to your screenshot folder AND added photos to a ingame album or something.. but that is probably veryyyy hard

sif cheat levels.. such a stupid thing to do It's basically cheating yourself out of fun. It means less play time and that when you reach level 30 you won't feel like you accomplished anything because you cheated.. guns.. ammos.. no clip.. even tgm.. i could level with you.. but permanently making your character a "cheat" character is pretty lame imo /rant

I really hope a talented modder decides to undertake this project.. If not.. well.. I guess I'll start working on it after I learn how to actually mod.. expect it sometime 2012... lol

Yes, you will still be able to gain achievements. All of them. Modding is not cheating by the way. Even if you add a mod that gives you every single thing in the game with top stats and lets you complete the final quest 10 minutes into the game just for the acheivement it is NOT considered cheating by Valve. Oh and fun fact - Steam doesn't care if you DO cheat in Fallout 3/New Vegas. Just press ~ to open up the console and cheat till your heart's content (Though I don't, ruins the game) and Steam will not care one tiny bit. SOURCE: I've used the console like 500 times since getting the game and have a huge amount of mods, I unlock achievements all the time

Oh wow seriously people are still complaining about Steam? I could understand maybe 5 years ago when it was a piece of crap but right now it is THE best gaming community tool ever created by mankind. It far surpasses xbox live and PSN and is 100% free. You are not "subscribing" to anything. You are creating a account and letting it download updates and patches automatically for you. Yeah it collects information about what games you play and what your system is but so what? It collects like 1/4th of the information xbox live or PSN do. Steam is awesome. There is no reason to be having such a cry over it. Takes 5 seconds to download and 2 minutes to install then maybe 20 minutes to update the Steam client, another minute to verify New vegas and update it and then guess what? You never have to go online with Steam EVER AGAIN unless you want to. Some people just love to cry like little babies who don't get their way I guess

I saw that thread, it was like basically day one of Vegas being released and many people jumped on saying it was tried back with Morrowind and Oblivion, but it Bethesda said it was illegal, blah blah. This time it wouldn't use copyrighted materials from Fo3, but I think it's just a gray area that this site probably doesn't want to cross because of legal issues. EVEN if it doesn't use copyrighted material, Bethesda will find some legal mumbo jumbo and get the files to be pulled. It's a real shame. I really dislike Bethesda softworks at the moment. Trying to stop Fallout online. Pushing Obsidian to release New Vegas early and full of bugs. Not allowing PC users free access to the pre order DLC after release. Not learning from past mistakes. Using the same horrible, disgusting engine for Oblivion, F3 and New Vegas (They forced Obsidian to use it) Beth sure isn't what it once was..

Any talented modders out there want to take this project on board? Seriously it's such a good idea I'm surprised there hasn't been a mod like this yet, somebody take this over! If you do it well it's almost guaranteed a spot in the top 100 files :P
