  1. I feel as though the Vipers should have 'class' theming based on types of snakes: Constrictors(bind and durability enhancements) and Venomous(venom spit and support enhancements), with alternating the trees producing a 'vanilla' Viper at Sergeant(including the stats). Something like: <rank/class> Constrictor | Venomous Squadie: Bind* | Bind* Corporal: Tongue Pull* | Aim Sergeant: Deep Cover | Venom Spit* Lieutenant: Blast Padding | Covering Fire Captain: Untouchable | Shadowstep Major: Crush | Embrace Colonel: Shredder | Venom Rounds <Embrace> Bind an ally to put them in Stasis until next turn. <Crush> +1 Bind damage growth each turn. Similar considerations should be probably applied to other units(MECs are Advent Grenadiers, etc.)
  2. I'd love to see female only staff/soldiers, with no impact on civvies. Another thing would be a proper classless soldiers mod with random ability options on level-up, preferably 3-4 options per rank.
  3. What if it became the same kind of "weapon" the Arc Thrower is in vanilla, or how Smoke Grenades work. Basically, a perk that gives the player a pocket/fake weapon, or adds the "butt smack" attack to the allowed list for the Rifle.
  4. Question 1: Is there a way to make weapons grant specific perks while they are used(kinda like a weapon can have the Suppression ability built in)? Question 2: Above failing short, how would one go about making weapon specific Perks work with all weapons? I know at least the second part should be possible, but can't find anything on how to make it work with Enemy Within.

  6. Last few days I've been messing around with a gigantic overhaul to many aspects of the game, and it'd appear I'm in need of help. Specifically, I'm looking for some models, mostly simple stuff which I could do with a tutorial or two, but can't exactly find the time while adjusting every single damn item to be more useful, more expensive and appear in customized level lists... Anyway, what I'll be needing for now is: -a Scoped AER Prototype -a Long barrel .375 in a darker rugged paint -a blue lights/effects version of the basic plasma pistol -a six-shooter cylinder mod for That Gun -a Radiation suit using the Golden Gecko texture for the yellow part -a Leather Armor using the Fire/Hunter Gecko texture -a Salvaged tb49 Power Armor without the NCR logo -a whole new model for Salvaged tb51 Power Armor If someone would like to ask extra questions(like WTF am I doing exactly), feel free. Hopefully I'll get at least some of the stuff to forward my efforts.
  7. I'm looking for some guides on making companions, altering/copying the Mysterious stranger perk, and creating locations(especially creating new exteriors).
  8. How about you guys use the options menu to simply reduce the fade distances of various elements. It accomplishes exactly the same thing, and is much cleaner.
  9. Yeah, it's too small for my tastes though. I imagine it as a tablet of sorts, like an iPad, all I can find are iPhones.
  10. On a related topic note: I would love it if all those ports came in with their files, rather than instructions like "you need this and that from here and there".
  11. As in a Tablet you carry in your backpack, so that you don't have that horrible glove on your hand, while also retaining the Fallout feel. Anyone knows someone capable of pulling that off?
  12. I can't get my GECK running, so I thought I might try asking for it here. The idea is to make a perk for Melee Weapons that uses the Laser RCW Recycler script to refund all or at least some spears/knifes/hatchets thrown, back to the user. 1/4 ratio is a bit poor, so a 1/3 would be nice, though an 1/1 version for less hardcore people would be nice too, maybe make it a two stage perk granting both. I had this idea after seeing another mod that makes throwables available for pickup, at the expense on no chance to nail the enemy to the wall(which I'd love to be able to do).
