I think it´s because of the steam sale. Whenever there is a sale, the site simply dies. Try using the nexus sites on non-peak hours, like in the middle of the night during the week, if you can. €: Wow even the forums are slow this time

You can simply open the MM, open the settings(at the top), go to download options and set to US West Coast.

Hello, I want my character to progress to guild master in the thieves guild, but I can´t bring myself to do the radiant quests required to unlock the special quests which in turn are required to become guild master. Is there any way to just unlock the special quests and skip that radiant boredom? I couldn´t find a mod that does this, is there one? Alternatively, is there maybe a console command to tell the game I have done all 5 needed radiant quests in a given hold?

If you simply want to progress the game you can use console commands and watch on YT what would´ve happened. In this case open console with ^ and type setstage DLC1VQ01 40 Should that still cause problems you can solve the quest by typing setstage DLC1VQ01 200 To get quest ids and stages check out uesp http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Awakening

I´m looking for a mod that unlevels merchant inventories, meaning that merchants sell any quality of gear at anly lvl. I use skyre and trade&barter but those don´t do it.

Hello, I´m not asking for weapon degradation like in Morrowind or anything visual. I had an idea for a mod that I think might actually be doable: Once an enemy dies, for each piece of armor in his posession there´s a chance that it is replaced with "damaged armor". "Damaged armor" is just a misc item with xy weight and no worth. Same for weapons. I just think the game showers you in armor and weapons and I don´t like it... the only counter for this is that the selling prices are so ridiculously low. However, when you bash at somehow with a warhammer, killing him, could you really just take the armor off his mangled body and put it on yourself? Every damn time? It would also make the game harder and more rewarding if killing someone in armor wouldn´t equal to you getting a full set of armor. Of course you could complicate the mod a whole lot by adding fancy stuff(damaged armor for certain materials which can be smelted, damaged armor still functional with lowered armor ratings, etc. etc.) but even the most basic version imaginable would be a great addition to the game if you ask me. Any thoughts?

It´s a pain to use the skyrim nexus atm, hope something can be done about it. What good are premium servers to download stuff from when you can´t access the download link in the first place ;)

I doubt that there are any "rules"... personally if I felt that strongly about a mod that I wanted to donate I´d make it count, since there probably aren´t many donations coming in for mods. Of course you could say "well if everybody donated just one dollar..." but we all know that´s not gonna happen :happy:

I´m also looking for a camera mod that allows better/easier camera movement in third person. I never use 3rd person while fighting so things like having to hold down the camera button to rotate when a weapon is drawn are very annoying to me.

Is there any mod that lets you wait for a shorter amount of time, like 5 minutes? Waiting for an hour in some dungeon just to restore stamina is kinda weird imo.

I´m glad I found this thread, since I experienced constant crashing. I had a feeling it might be an issue with NMC. I´ll download the medium version now and then the small if that doesn´t help... I hope either one will fix my crashing, too But I do have a question to those defending the engine: How can it be that I can, say, load a game where I´m out in the wastes, then enter some small room and have the game crash? Shouldn´t the engine clean up the memory instead of crashing?!
