I think what everyone seems to forget that this games AI was developed maybe circa 2003, or 18 months before the game was released. 2005 I believe. The fact that we are spending time this very day debating the issues of it's highs and lows, stands testament to it's attraction as one of the greats of it's genre. Best Wishes Zapata935

Is your character sitting or standing at an obscure angle to the chair, or stands in a hopeless fashion! Have you just tried out an animation mod that is still bugging your open game? If so, you need to track back to that particular animation posing mod and reset that particular pose! Good Luck Zapata!

Ok, all read and understood, maybe I am asking too much. I just thought that it would take only a short script to re-arrange the faction, race, attitude modifiers, reacting to an attached nif file. Would it not be great though, if you could slip on any corresponding clothing and sneak in and cut the throats of those who trust you, just because you are dressed the same! I know Image is a great part of the game, to you yourself, but until the game programmers can distinguish, what you decide to don on your player, then none of it matters! For Example if you decide to put on say, a mythic dawn suit in their hide-out and no-one within the mythic dawn accepts that you are one of their own, then that is when the programme is useless! What is the bloody point. Reality is all about the images and senses thrown in front of our eyes, not the limitations of computer game programmers! Best Wishes Zapata935

Dear Striker, you sound a smart guy, I had a tip once from a very wise man inside the computer industry, "When a product is launched, hard or software, it takes 18 months or so before the research and development costs are recovered, it is only then that they can retail the real cost of the product". Dear Striker, sorry I could not continue the conversation about death wish companion NPC's the other night as I had to bug out quick, but I find the subject interesting, as in, is it a deliberate ploy by the game programmers, or is it really a nemesis of theirs, ie they can not control the scene with another human mind behind the steering wheel? I understand your tactic of standing back, then applying the field bandages afterwards. I tried the tactic of running off from the crowd and attacking the furthest enemy to avoid being classed as a murdering scoundrel! By the way, I do understand that we are thrashing away at pixels and pieces of computer code, but I guess that is why I love this game so much, after five years, I never tire of it because it makes you feel involved! I, for one would be glad not to see Lucien Lachance, he reminds me of a Jehovas Witness bible salesman with the sole aim in mind to bind me into the bloody Dark Brotherhood. I only pray that there is no Dark Brotherhood in Skyrim, as I am sick of so called friendly NPC's leaping under my sword thrusts at the very last split second, just so the game programmers can give you something to do later on! Hi, here is a tip to save the wear and tear on your wrists, go into your sock drawer and grab the two thickest pairs of socks you own. Roll them up into pairs respectivly. Put one pair in front of the action keys to the left of your keyboard and the second pair in front of your mouse! You can now play for days or weeks on end! Best Wishes Zapata935

Hi, hope someone can help, I am getting frequent CTD's by going from Ext cells to World cells, ie thro Oblivion and City gates. The load screens are prolonged, followed by a CTD half way thro? I have no problem once I am in a world or interior cell the load screen bar zooms thro. I do have TES4 LOD Generator which I have tried often, but does not seem to cure the problem. I would be grateful for some advice. Thankyou

I would like to suggest, instead of the option for rest or sleep, why not go down to the Weye Inn and play stuff like darts, improve your marksman skill, get in a school of poker, improve your many skills involved in that! skittles, all the old English pub games! why not, it fits the bill. I think as an average gamer it would be far more fullfilling after a days slaughter to become human and rest and relax, but not too much, anything that makes the involvement more realistic! This is a current update, if you have recently had cause to re-install windows like I had to do to re-partion my hard drives. Then done, you must download and install the very latest version of your Motherboard chipset drivers! I now believe this problem only concerns owners of ATI agp Radeon cards! If you have to reinstall windows xp, first load up your original drivers that came with your newly bought graphics card. then search the net for any legacy software or drivers. version 11.2 is out there now. I hope this helps anyone who is inflicted by Shader Package leak, I would rather live one day as a tiger than one thousand years as a sheep! Best Wishes

Hi Everyone, I don't have much time on-line due to the day job, but my ol trusty rig just about carries Oblivion at a decent frame rate per second. But I have a feeling that Skyrim and my beloved Elder Scroll V will *ban me* out of the water and life in Tamriel will go slow motion big time!
