In response to post #36699195. Not to mention the ones that crash flash. I have had that happen so many times it's not even funny any more

In response to post #35087280. #35125815, #35168160, #35181215 are all replies on the same post. That's a pretty nifty trick BlueGunk. I would like to know how you can squeeze 100 years of working with PCs, when the "PC" has only been around about 36 years (give or take a few years).

Nope. Turn off the services, disable the scheduled tasks, it still isn't enough. It's a bit more complex than that. You have to take ownership of cortana's files and delete them. Then get a thing called "Spybot Antibecon" and run that. It's the taking ownership of cortana's files that is the difficult part.

In response to post #31698730. #31701440 is also a reply to the same post. It can also happen if you have the 'Higher Settlement Budget' bat file mod and built to many things for your system to handle.

My "2 cents" (though maybe a bit grim and worst case scenario type) is that all the "paid modding" dose is pit players vs players to end modding of all games. Okay maybe a bit more detail into that is needed... Before this "paid mod" system was even thought of we stood together as 1 "Modding Community", now we have started to turn on each other because some have chosen to charge for their work on the workshop. Now don't get me wrong, I do not agree with it, but it is and was their choice to do so. But what it (the paid mod system) dose is segregate us (the modding community) into 2 (or more) groups of the previously "United we stand" modding community. Put simply I ask. What better way to stop people from adding or changing a game you created and put some money in your pocket while doing it?
