  1. Some people are sensitive, some people are just douches, and some of us are just assholes. Accept it and move on.

To answer the question, noone can create custom animations as Havok is required and microslut does not sell havok to the public anymore. As such they have to use the default assault rifle animation for custom assault rifle models.

I find it funny some of the people constantly crying about the survival mode are the same ones that turn around and try to chastise ppl in other threads for calling the storyline and setting in FO4 poorly done, often saying something along the lines of how "unfair" it is for people to be disappointed in bethesda choices as if bethesda choices are some how superior to anyone elses.

You should take that as how big of an outrage the design choices in Survival mode truly are. If people like myself who always jump on board to defend Bethesda are even pissed off about this, then it is a pretty bad move on their part.

Though, I won't waste my time typing out how something like storytelling is way more abstract and subjective than the fact that people have the right to save their videogames.

I take it more of an example of your poor taste. The survival mode is more in line with how it should be, and the writting and enviornment were piss poor designed.

  4. The way it works is when you make a mod you have copyright on it. Legally you have the copyright on it. Other users require your permission to use that mod as part or a base of their own. Now if you don't care you typically write in the permissions that you do not have to be asked. If it does not expressly say that, they have to get your permission first. Beth, and the Nexus will reinforce this without the original mod author having to even know about it because it keeps them out of the muddy legal waters to have a harsh silence is not consent practice.

So yes you need permission to upload them if you are using others mods as the base. If you make your own mod entirely from scratch that works independently without any other mod, then you can upload that and have copyright yourself.

Note: None of the above has any bearing on you and joe making the same type of mod in the same type of way when neither party was aware or attempting anything nefarious. Duplicate ideas in separate mods is perfectly acceptable, but if it is found you are skimming ideas from other mods that is another thing entirely.

I'm a huge fan of New Vegas and FO3 and also The Elder Scrolls series and being waiting for this game too come out like forever but now its out I just cant seem to get into it? I walk around for awhile and just get bored and pick it up were I left off and slowly the excitement dies really quick? I remember New Vegas hooked me in straight away and could play for hours and hours. Soon as I left Doc's house I was like Okay were do I go, it was exciting to walk around. anyone recommend any mods or anything to get me started, I don't want to do the main mission yet, just want to build up my character and then explore the depth of the game.

I'm much the same. I had to force myself to finish my first and only playthrough, I did try and start a new character but I couldn't, all you can do is change the appearance and gender, the lack of choices, limited dialogue options and voiced PC mean you can only play as the character Bethesda came up with. For me it'll need a total conversion to save it, it doesn't feel like a Fallout game and it's not an RPG, it's a third rate shooter set in a not very interesting world, Grand Theft Auto, Saints Row and Just Cause all do the open world shooter thing better so why would I bother with this?

really?,lmao perhaps go back to gta and its disapearing world and endless non-events and pointless driving, least in fo you can turn around and everything is still where it was just now,not disapeared into thin air.

just cause and saints row,,,pmsl :sigh:

jeez, what planet are you on,comparing f/out to childrens console games..

    go away..

Dude just shut up. You add nothing to the conversation here with this. If you have any valid points to make make them, if you want to say you disagree, sayyou disagree, but this piddly ass "hur dur you play kirds games" s#*! is not welcome here.

  6. No, never shot the Prydwyn, I was speaking in "real life" terms. I still find it hard to believe that one well placed RPG wouldn't take down a blimp, regardless of how it's built. It's not like they're hard to hit being enormous and slow.

Other guy already pointed out how inexperienced you are in the concept and practical use of military blimps. So yea still wrong about it. Also that outer shell is armor plated, and consists of multiple layers. The same exact concept used to make modern tank armor. Remember this is a post WWII era time line. All the tech advantages gleamed from WWII apply ontop of the alternative Tesla tech and psuedo fusion/fission tech.

  7. FO4 fails to pull you into the environment like the previous titles. The MQ is better done as a linear game and not Open World, and the intro does nothing to set you up for a reason to explore and live in the world. Not to mention how half assed they did the world building considering the insanely rich real world back story of the area that could have been brought to life in proper parody in FO.

So yea it fails to hold like the previous titles, just play it when you feel like it and stop when you dont.
