  1. no rambles here Hallgarth, all the infos you gave are usefull at least to my eye as a newcomer :) i'm curious, does using skyrim's CK could provide me some "training" while i wait for a release version of F4's CK ?

  3. okay so apparently the ctrl+f4 did no cause the bug of my npcs... but strangely i think i have a cell reset bug aroud sanctuary that caused that somehow. thing is, while i added those 3 npc to the game world in sanctuary for testing purposes, i moved them to the Castle very quickly (in game) so my guess is that the cell reset bug in sanctuary somehow touched the npcs ? (yeah i'm a very very new modder XD)
  4. sorry for double posting but... i tried the Ctrl+f4 thing... it exported something and since then, my 3 npcs that i created are either bugged (as in appearing without any armors or headgears) bugged (as in stuck in T position) or plainly vanished from the game but still appearing if i do /help "nameofncp" 4 what happened ? X_X
  5. likely it works the same as vertibirds oh i never wondered how does the vertibirds work, can you tell me or at least link me to somewhere i could check? ^^

  7. i have the same problem with created npcs, no marks, scars etc appear in game... luckyly for you someone responded at least XD if you find anything to fix this issue, tell me ok ? i'm struggling on that issue since a week now ^^'
  8. while i cannot help you a lot, i noticed with tcl that the elevators of the game does not actually moves (except maybe the institute one) . i tested the vault 81 elevator to see how it moves and actually...well it doesnt. either this is caused by me using Tcl to observe or a bug in my game i dont know but i think i could help you to watch in game how they work ^^
  9. did not notice crops dissapearances nor power lines, but like you it started at 1.5... maybe is it because sanctuary on my save have a lot of stuff? i should try a new save to check.

  11. Guys i really need the help here...i looked every tutorials and such and i havent found a single answer about the marks not appearing and how to merge plugins :S
  12. okay so..i went on and uninstalled the mods that i tought (sp?) were the cause of those sanctuary ctd... well it didnt went as well as i hoped : now if i scrap any construction that isnt basic (by basic i mean the ones already here when you start the game) i get a ctd. May that be mutfruits trees, shops , paints you name it i crash if i store or scrap them. i guess i'll just have to wait a miraculous fix or move all my settlers to another settlement hoping that bug wont follow... again if anyone got any ideas, i'm all ears ^^

  14. Hello again Nexus! Ok so i started playing with the CK and created 3 npcs without too much of trouble, for now they are basic settlers but i plan to give them a small quest to recruit them more immersively. However, before stepping into quest making, i have some issues that could need your advices, so here goes the questions : 1) When i created those Npc i added marks on them (scars, beauty spots, burn marks and so on) however once i launch the game those marks does not appear on them, why did i do wrong? if i reopen the file in the ck the marks are still there! 2) As i said they are now working as regular settlers, but if i assign them to any work, they never stop working, never sleeping or such. what can i do to remedy that? 3) As i plan to add 2 more npcs, i guess before starting making a quest i should merge the npcs plugins right? if so, how? Thank you very much in advance!

Hello Nexus member, i seek your assistance for the following issue : since a week, i get CTD when i try to scrap or store any modded item/decoration in sanctuary . the fun part is that if i use those items in other settlements, i dont have CTDs AND i can scrap vanilla items in sanctuary. for now the cursed items seem to come from homemaker ;wall oil lamp; art connoisseur and craftable animation markers. i guess the easy solution would be to uninstall those mods. but i wonder what would happen if i reinstall them after? any help or magic fix can be usefull ! ps: drivers are up to date and game cache verified
  16. uh.. interesting, in the french trailer the woman doesnt say "save my daughter" but "save kasumi" and the citizen of far harbor does way "you kill one of us...etc etc" using the female pronoun(sp?) this looks....fishy :D

Hello again, i'm back with another question ! i created my first npc and i want to use it as a trader. so in "faction" i added workshopDialogueFaction (as the tutorial video i saw suggested ) and WorkshopVendorFactionBar. problem is : i cannot assign the npc to the bar shop if i do, she walks to the counter, then moves away directly , and if i try to talk to the npc , she acts like a barmaid ... o_O so, any help? did i miss something or used the wrong factions? oh and in papyrus scripts i have workshopnpcscript wich i altered after watching how trader Rylee's one was edited. NVM.... i'm just a stupid guy XD i forgot to recruit her in the settlement in game.. problem solved!
  18. Exactly - they are there, useless - > Sure ... but it makes it fun to 'go for it' ..... Yep ^^ no need to play games for the trophies, but using the trophy system to give you personal challenges can enhance the game sometime... as long as i dont have to find 100 feathers! xD
  19. while i can understand ppl disliking trophies, and i can also understand those loving them, i have to say that in some games, those littles trophies give me personal objectives as a challenges. for exemple, i dont like those "find all useless items who does not add to the story or gameplay of the game" BUT i do love the trophies like "finish Final Fantasy VIII with the main character NEVER leveling up" , those one are fun to do ^^
  20. Thanks Mazakala for the infos ^^ do you have a site to recommend to learn papyrus? Also another question : my current fallout 4 uses about 80 mods without any conflict / ctd or heavy lags. but can i work on the ck with a modded fallout 4? or should i uninstall all mods properly, uninstall F4 then reinstall it on a vanilla state, copy all the F4 folder on another HD to have a "vanilla f4 " and a modded one? Ps : maybe i should mention i have some training with Ruby scripting ? (used mainly in rpg makers programs) so yeah i bet papyrus is a whole other league but who knows, maybe its at least a bit similar XD
