  1. As far as I know, there is no such mod for DA:I but follow the instructions in that thread to play with controller on PC: http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-XInput-Wrapper-for-DS3-and-Play-com-USB-Dual-DS2-Controller There is nothing else you need, to run a PS3 controller. :)
  2. Hello and welcome dear TheLonelySurvivor/Marc, nice to meet you! You have a very good taste in games, music and TV shows! I also love a lot of your list, for example: Star Wars: Kotor 2 ( well, basically everything with Star Wars ), Metal Gear Solid series, Metal and Rock music, Anime etc. :D I hope you will have a lot of fun here and find many new friends! Liebe Grüße aus der Schweiz
  3. "I have tried everything i could think of and everything i could find on differend forums" This isn't really helpful because there are many solutions available. What exactly did you try? What mods are you trying to use? I have read that such issues happens if you have two copies of the game on the computer installed in different places. If this isn't the case with you, I would propose a complete deinstallation of DA: I, ModManager etc. and redownload the mods again.
  4. Check your game settings and set the graphics meshes and textures to Ultra or higher than Default, when using hair mods your mesh settings must be set to Ultra, otherwise the hair won't show up in game and outside of cutscenes. "General Troubleshooting Steps Make sure... ... you have the following programs installed on your PC: SlimDX, DirectX11 and .NET Framework 4 or higher ... both your game's path and your mods' path are correct ... your mods and the MoManager aren't in the same folder ... the "Update" folder doesn't contain actual mods (the ones that have a .mft file and a "Data" folder in them). Those so called "self contained" mods NEED to be merged with the ModManager as they WILL mess up both the ModMaker and the ModManager. " ( No mods are displayed in the BE and normally you can't enter it with mods, otherwise the game crashes. )
  5. Maybe you prefer this version of Cassandra: "DA2 Cassandra" by appleschnapple http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/328/? - as the name of the mod already suggests, it should be what you're looking for. If you're looking for a version which affects her whole facial features and everything, unfortunately I must disappoint you. That would be, if indeed such a thing is possible, too much work.
  6. Well, I had this problem always because of one certain mods, even with my own mods. It happens if the game/DirectX can't reflect a certain texture or something like that and triggers a conflict, whether because of mods or for another reason. I guess that's also the case with you, may I ask which graphics card you use and which game settings? Maybe one of the Retexture mods is too high for your settings. Have you already set the game on the lowest graphics settings and tried it again? Otherwise I can enumerate only the standard solutions: - Delete the whole ModManager/DAI Tools Suite Loader completely and downloaded it again - Repair the game with your Origin client - Re-install your Nvidia driver and/or DirectX - Check if you have the following programs installed on your PC: SlimDX, DirectX11 and .NET Framework 4 or higher My last suggestion is rather unlikely but it's worth a try: Disable just the mods you don't need for your current playthrough. So, all mods for these races which you don't play currently. And if that doesn't work, I can only repeat: Re-install each mod again, merge it after each mod and try to load the game successfully, but not all mods at once. I'm running out of ideas...
  7. I have looked at your mod list and I must admit, that these are already a lot of mods which you use. It doesn't make it any easier to say, which mod trigger a conflict. I have just the "suggestions" that helped me, when I had the same problem at the same place as you. For me, it was one single Companion mod for a character which isn't even in Haven at this time ( Dorian ). This mod let all the buildings disappear and let me fall through the world. Maybe you just try it without your Companion mods and check, whether it's because of one of them. Disable all of your Companion mods and if you entered the game successfully, enable one mod after another until it crashes again. I don't want to blame the mods! Certain mods are simply not compatible with each other and that's no one's fault. If that doesn't work, just try the same with all mods: merge one mod after another until it crashes. I know this takes a lot of time but nothing else occur to me after even the solution of UhuruNUru didn't help you.
  8. My question is, if i use all 3 files will i get the same hair for every race. Or will i only get one hair and the 2 will get replaced? As I understand your question, you want to know if you can install all three hairstyles for each race at the same time or whether they mutually override each other? This is generally possible without difficulty, because every hairstyle has its own base mesh and therefore they shouldn't overwrite each other. If you only use the version for EF, then HF and DF will not receive this hairstyle automatically. ( Just in case I misunderstood your question )
  9. Maybe it helps if you try the "Load Order Optimisation Tool" called LOOT https://loot.github.io/ It shows you which mod doesn't work and the reason for it. And with "TES5Edit" http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/? you can clean the "faulty" mods. ( TES5Edit Cleaning Guide: https://www.creationkit.com/index.php?title=TES5Edit_Mod_Cleaning_Tutorial ) I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and maybe someone has another / better solution.
  10. I know this error message, I had it sometimes with my pj mods. It happens if the game/DirectX can't reflect a certain texture because it's too high or something like that and this is often a problem of the latest DAI Tools Suite Loader/ModMaker itself. May I ask which version of ModMaker you use? I recommend to try an older version of ModMaker ( v1.1.0.16 alpha ) this has often been a good solution for me. You can get it here: http://daitools.free...ment-t1065.html .dds settings: Import Photoshop - Open/Converst Images to 8 bits - Show this dialog Gimp - Should already have the preset: - Load mipmaps - Automatically decode YCoCG/AExp images when detected - Show this dialog ( Works for me but I'm not sure if it's really necessary. ) Export Photoshop - Export/Save as DXT5 ARGB 8 bpp - 2D Texture - Generate MIP maps Gimp - Export/Save as BC3/DXT5 - Generate MIP maps
  11. I'm not sure if it's possible but I think it's a pity to call them ugly, despite of all the great mods in which the people have invested a lot of work and time. But apart from that, there is also a selection of such replacer mods which allow you to wear armor instead of the pj - like this mods: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/834/? by Atherisz http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/606/? by sirsagrell
  12. That's exactly what I'm talking about, I had the same issue. I couldn't select that one mod folder without the ModManager crashed. I didn't come to the mod liste in ModManager and that was only the case, after I had inserted this one, new mod. Try the solution of Jericho311 and if that doesn't work, I can only repeat: Re-install each mod again and unpack one after another in the folder and try to open/merge it after each mod, not all at once.
  13. Make sure you're up to date with the Game and the ModManager. As far as I know: Dragon Age Inquisition - Version 12 and DAITools Suite Loader - Version v1.0.0.8/v0.59 alpha. You can open and check it with notepad and change the number if it isn't "correct". The Folder where you have your DragonAgeInquisition.exe - Update - Patch - package.mft Name patch Authoritative Version 12 If you don't see the “Official Patch” listed at the top in ModManager or it won’t open, you may also need to check your daimodmanager.ini file: DAI_ModManager\Tools\Mod Manager\Main\Mod Manager v1.0 BasePath=D:\Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\ ( where you have your DragonAgeInquisition.exe ) ModPath=C:\Users\Cindy\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\TEST ( your mod folder/path ) PatchVersion=12 Version=v0.59 alpha I hope this will help!
  14. Well, I don't want to repeat everything you have already read and tried but I can tell you, that I had this problem some time ago and the reason for it was one single mod which let the ModManager always crash. Therefore I recommend you to load one mod after another to see which mods are the reason for your ModManager crash. I know this is very time consuming depending on the number of mods but I can imagine almost no other reason, since some mods work for you. You can also post your mod list ( if you want ), so we can look at it with you together.
  15. You're welcome! I hope it works but if not, I try to send you one of my mods just to test whether it works in this way. If so, maybe the other authors would send you their mods also upon request or grant the permission to other people to do it.
  16. Hmm, that's strange. =/ May I ask with which program you ( try to ) extract the files? I always use WinRAR and I never had any problems with it but maybe it helps you to change your tool? For example: "7-Zip". Or maybe it's because of your antivirus software, if you have one? Unfortunately I haven't another solution.
  17. As far as I know, it's a problem of Mozilla Firefox. Maybe this links will help you: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Source_file_could_not_be_read http://kb.mozillazine.org/Unable_to_save_or_download_files Or this solution "Along the lines of the last post, what happens if you stop Firefox from telling the web server that you will accept compressed files? Here's how: (1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful. (2) In the search box above the list, type or paste enco and pause while the list is filtered (3) Double-click the network.http.accept-encoding preference and (A) If it has the default value (line is not bolded), delete all of the text and click OK. (B) If it has a customized value, copy the current value to a safe place for potential later use, then delete all of the text and click OK. When you visit the site again, Firefox should omit the usual headers saying that it accepted gzip/deflate encoded responses. Any difference?"
  18. Hello alakuriel I also use Windows 10 and it works without any problem for me, I can tell you so it isn't because of Win10. Have you already deleted the whole ModManager/DAI Tools Suite Loader completely and downloaded it again? I have to do this from time to time, because sometimes I get a error message for no clear reason. Repair the game with your Origin client if you haven't already done this. If repair the game and re-download the DAI Tools Suite doesn’t solve your problem: - Re-install your Nvidia driver and/or DirectX - Check if you have the following programs installed on your PC: SlimDX, DirectX11 and .NET Framework 4 or higher - Run the DAI Tools Suite/ModManager as admin - Make sure your mods and the ModManager aren't in the same folder - Make sure that the DAI Tools Suite Loader/ModManager isn't in the same folder as your game Perhaps it might help to look at these links: http://daimodder.tumblr.com/post/128470102064/mod-manager-troubleshooting-tips and http://daitools.freeforums.org/modmanager-troubleshooting-master-post-t1092.html
  19. You're right, I'm working on a ponytail hairstyle currently and I hope I can release it soon! ;D
  20. Hello SilverInsanity I know this error message, I had it sometimes with my pj mods. It happens if the game/DirectX can't reflect a certain texture because it's too high or something like that. Unfortunately I have never tried to make this type of mod but maybe this tutorial will help you to check your steps? https://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2871484-tutorial-adding-a-custom-portrait-to-inquisition/ If it still doesn't work, I recommend to try an older version of ModMaker ( v1.1.0.16 alpha ), this has often been a good solution for me. You can get it here: http://daitools.freeforums.org/latest-version-announcement-t1065.html
  21. Did you mean Origin? Because ORGIN is unknown to me. Show us at opportunity a screenshot of your problem, maybe then we can help you better. :)
  22. Hello Daredevil473 You don't have to create a second, empty folder. You can also just open your mod folder as always with ModManager and make just a double click at every mod you don't want. If the little cross on the left side of the mod is gone, it means this mod isn't active. http://up.picr.de/27938145gr.jpg Of course it also works if you just use an empty folder, if you want to disable all your mods. You don't have to worry that this will crash your game or anything else. There are some mods which don't work in the DLC's ( for example: hair mods ) but as you can read here: http://daimodder.tumblr.com/ "When a hair mod doesn’t work it is not the hair mod itself, it’s the base for that gender/race." I don't know if it's necessary but I always delete the previous "Patch_ModManagerMerge folder" before I merge a new one - but I think that your old folder is overwritten with the new one. To put it briefly: you can merge as many different mod folders as you want, it shouldn't happen that a second folder is created and you get a conflict. Basically you can always change each of your savegames with different mods, your file/current game remains intact. As you already know, you have to go to the Black Emporium for some mods to see them on your character. But you have to leave/restart the game every time, if you want to create a new merge folder. You can't merge the game while it's still running! I hope I could help you and let me know, if I misunderstood one of your questions!
  23. Excuse me, I don't mean this rude, but I think lloydcousland simply wants the appropriate codes/values to get exactly the hair colors of Blackwall and Loghain, but he already used "DAI Hair Recolour Utility" and didn't get the result he wanted. :) ( The color values of starrarte are correct to me. )
  24. This may be a stupid question, but did you try to find the "DragonAgeInquisition.exe" file with the "Dragon Age Path"? Because I only can't see the .exe file with the "Mod Path". As UhuruNUru said, make sure you use the right path - for example: "Mod Path" C:\Users\Name\Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age Inquisition\ModFolder "Dragon Age Path" D:\Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\ If it still doesn't work and repair the game and re-download the DAI Tools Suite doesn’t solve your problem, maybe that could help you also: - Make sure you have .NET Framework 4 or higher installed - Repair your game with Origin ( or re-install the game ) - Make sure your mods and the ModManager aren't in the same folder - Make sure that the DAI Tools Suite Loader/ModManager isn't in the same folder as your game
