  1. The order your mods are loaded in is probably not correct. Download a Program called LOOT. Heres the link: https://loot.github.io/ Run it and sort your mods and that should fix your problem. Do you use Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer to install your mods? If not I highly recommend you to check either one out. Using them makes it soooo much easier to install and uninstall mods rather than copying files manually. I myself prefer Mod Organizer. Sorry if you already know this stuff, but just making sure in case you're new to modding.
  2. Hello, I just got a new gaming pc with a GTX 970 and I tried out vanilla Skyrim and then installed Realvision ENB. It looks awesome, but it seems to me that the anti aliasing seem to be downgraded from vanilla. I especially notice it on straight edges, bushes and trees and the mountains in the background. Has anyone else experienced this issue or is it just me being too picky. Hehe I do have Skyrim HD textures installed if that makes any difference. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  3. Hello, I recently was having some issues with my modded Skyrim and so I created a backup of the entiire Skyrim steam folder. I also did everything that this website said to do: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Backing_up_your_mod_list_and_load_order After uninstalling all my mods and downloading skyrim again, i started modding it all over again and discovered my problem was in the INI file. What I would like to do now is to revert back to my backup folder. However as I understand it, NMM wouldn't understand which mods I have installed and I wouldn't be able to uninstall any mods I had before the backup. Am I right in this assumption or is there a way to get NMM to recognize which mods I have installed? I backed up the entire NMM folder as well. Thanks
  4. Hello, Just recently my Lenovo y40 would not start and I figured out that the problem was with the video card driver. I updated the driver and the laptop started fine. Then I went to play Skyrim and in grassy areas i get massive drops in framerate (15-18 fps) for about 5-10 seconds and then it will speed up again to about 45 to 55 fps depending on the area. It does this repeatedly in grassy areas and the number of framerate drops increase when i lower the grass view distance. It seems to do it every time it reaches an edge where the grass veiw distance ends. Before my problems with starting my computer it was fine. Specs: Processor Intel Core i7 Processor i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00 GHx Operating System Windows 8.1 64 Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M275 2GB Memory 16 GB RAM Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. Hello, So a few weeks ago i installed Skyrim Climate Overhaul- winter edition and after I uninstalled it i have been getting winter wind sounds in areas i shouldn't. I get them in some buildings as well. Usually hear in and around Riften and other warm regions. So there is the regular wind and the winter wind playing at the same time outside towns. Then inside towns I get just the howling winter winds. Any Ideas on how to fix this? Thanks
  6. YES!! finally figured it out! If anyone else has this problem, the original game was made this way. All you have to do is use the "Clear Skies" shout and Bingo!..Beautiful Riften. The Clear Skies shout is acquired by following the main quest of the game in case anybody doesn't have it. So simple.
  7. Hi, I'm using COT and its weather patch and am experiencing major washed out colors in riften. Before entering Riften its fine, but after entering the colors apear very washed out. This also happens after i exit Riften but after fast traveling to an area further away, the problem disappears. I tried uninstalling the COT weather patch and the issue disappeared. Does anybody know what is causing this, because without the weather patch my game looks terrible. I do not use an ENB, but i do use Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Sweetfx and Skyrim HD Thanks
  8. Yes most of my ini settings are what you posted except draw distance and other stuff that i know i wont cause any problems. I dont think my issue is in the ini files. I was just wondering if there was a way to remove clumps of grass one at a time.
  9. I'll be installing Skyrim to my SSD so i can get faster loading time anyway so that shouldn't be a problem right?
  10. I installed Dat Grass and there is grass inside the stable and other areas where it shouldn't be around my player home. (its the Whiterun Mansion mod player home) Does anyone if there is a way to easily disable patches of grass so I don't have them where i don't want them? Thanks Edit: Woops! the title is supposed to say "does anyone know..."
  11. Wow thanks for all the suggestions. I'll play around with these and see if I like them. Thanks again!!
  12. I use Whiterun Mansion. Every crafting facility you need plus an excellent automatic sorting system.
  13. Hi, Does anyone know of a mod that changes the ugly brown vegetation into grass? I use extreme grass and the contrast between the two types of vegetation (lush green and brown) isn't appealing to my tastes. A mod that changes the brown vegetation into something more colorful would work as well. Thanks
  14. Thanks for the replies everybody I'll start collecting parts then.
  15. Hi, I'm getting ready to build a gaming pc and one of the "Musts" is to be able to run skyrim with an intensive enb (probably realvision) and lots of mods. Will this build be able to run Skyirm preferably on ultra setting, on 1920x1080 resolution with intensive mods?
