  1. I admit I was a little confused by that mod list. Maybe next time share your entire load order? Anyway, I'm glad you got it fixed.
  2. What's your load and what order are your files overwriting each other? Meaning, did you install ECE first and then Racemenu and overwrote any conflicting files?
  3. I see a few FNIS files, but not the main file nor the generated file. You also have a racemenu plugin for XPMSE but you don't actually have XPMSE? At least I don't see those anywhere in your mod list.
  4. It would be easier to try and help if we knew what other mods you had installed. There's a chance it's a simple load order issue.
  5. I'm not thinking it's a hardware issue so much as a Skyrim issue. Short explanation is that Skyrim's engine has issue with memory management. Even on an unmodded game there are times when it will crash due to the way that it handles memory allocation. The solution is actually really simple. Since you're using SKSE already (assuming this because you have SkyUI installed), all you have to do is create an .ini file to turn on the Skyrim Startup Memory Editor (SSME aka Sheson's Memory Patch). It's included in SKSE and even if it's not a memory related crash, I suggest turning it on any way. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/? under the downloads tab for this mod/tutorial there's a file called SKSE.ini. Just download and install it like any other mod. It will add the correct ini file to turn on SSME. The default settings SHOULD be enough to alleviate any memory related crashing (you aren't using that many mods) but that's why we use the memory blocks log. If it crashes again and is still maxing memory we can tweak some more settings. Of course, there's always the possibility that it's something else entirely. Either way, turning on SSME won't hurt and should help stability.
  6. Try downloading the Memory Blocks Log and enable it. Play the game as normal. When it crashes the Memory Blocks Log will create a log file. This is going to tell us if you're running out of memory. Since to me it sounds like the crashes are occurring during potentially memory heavy instances (enemy combat ai initiating). If you're using NMM the log file will be in your Skyrim data folder SKSE > Plugins If you're using MO then it'll be in the Overwrite
  7. Okay, so it isn't a memory issue. If block1 said 512 then I'm assuming you've already turned on SSME in the SKSE.ini file. To save yourself a little work, go through and identify mods that you've used in the past together without issue. Then deactivate any mods that are new this time around. Also, I see you're using a bashed patch. I don't generally use those, so I may be way off base here, but are you creating a new patch when you're disabling mods for testing? I'd also check to make sure that your mods, especially the unofficial patches, are all up to date. EDIT: Also I didn't see the Climates of Tamriel - Weather Patch in your load order.
  8. My mod was having issues too (got redirected or simply wouldn't download). Finally got it to actually download properly but now it seems to be corrupted? I've reuploaded fresh files three different times now (twice last night and once this afternoon).
  9. Learn something new every day. With MO it just pops up a warning to tell you if you're missing a master file. Back when I still used NMM I'd go through the plugin list manually to see if any masters were missing or disabled. Wish I'd known you could use TES5Edit like that back then, lol.
  10. Yeah. Since Mod Organizer keeps everything separate and nothing is put into the data folder it only loads the mods that are currently checked. So if he's unticking it then the files associated with that mod aren't being read by the game. It would be the same as going in and deleting all of the files out of the data folder if you were doing a manual install. One of the many reasons I prefer it to NMM
  11. Are you using the Skyrim launcher to manage your mods? Because I would seriously advise against that.
  12. Oh geez...SKSE is really easy to install, but everyone over complicates it. All you have to do is download the .zip file and extract it. Every single loose file that starts with "skse" gets copy pasted into the Skyrim directory (where tesv.exe is located). Now just zip the data folder that was in the SKSE .zip into it's own archive and install it via whatever mod manager you want. I've done this repeatedly on two different computers using both MO and NMM. In the end there's no reason to put anything into your Skyrim data folder with either mod manager.
  13. this is still not how you test this matter. you have to uninstall mods not just 'deactivate' them. try using Alternate start instead and see if it's the mod or if it's a conflict of some kind. He's using Mod Organizer. Unticking the mod is exactly the same as uninstalling it. OP, are you using SSME? I'm thinking your crashes might be memory. Either way, you should download the Memory Blocks Log and check the log file it outputs after a crash. If the numbers in the first column are maxed out then your issue is memory related.
  14. Where is it crashing? If it's right after the Bethesda logo then it's likely a missing master file.
  15. Yes...yes they did...just reread it...Well I feel dumb now. Sorry for that.
  16. I use both of those mods together on my beefier computer and used to get some slow downs in certain areas. I found that the enblocal and skyrimprefs tweaks in this particular tutorial helped a ton. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/?
  17. I think you've got a load order issue. That's the only thing I can think of... Have you used LOOT?
  18. There's actually an additional change that you have to make to the .ini file before it will work properly. Under the [Archive] Section of the SkyrimEditor.ini you'll want to find SResourceArchiveList2 and change it look like this: SResourceArchiveList2=Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Update.bsa, Dawnguard.bsa, Hearthfires.bsa, Dragonborn.bsa Basically just add the DLCs in the order the were released. And Yes it is Hearthfires and not Hearthfire
  19. I run Skyrim on Medium and it always crawls to insanely low frame-rates when ANY ENB is installed. However, I recently discovered a really awesome combination of mods that has decently low impact and looks great too. Mods I use. I Can't Believe It's Not an ENB Imaginator Dynavision I combine those with a couple of lighting and weather mods and it looks amazing. Maybe not compared to the ultra realistic, super high everything, games that you see a lot. But when compared to Vanilla Medium I think it looks great. Plus the frame rates stay playable too. I made a video showing off the combination, I hope it's okay if I share it here.
  20. I like to use the "flooring" that's used with the scaffolding in the mines. If you pull it down really close to the ground you can snap several pieces together to create a nice flat area. The best part though is that it can blend in really nicely with the rest of the cave and looks like it belongs. I believe that's what they did in places like Movarth's Lair (the vampire cave in Morthal). I'd have to double check to be sure, but they have a dining area with a table in the middle of the cave and I'm like 90% sure that it's sitting on a platform made from scaffolding pieces.
