  1. There's a mod that fixed all Archimedes problems for me, including its tendency to cause a crash right after it actually does manage to get a shot off. It breaks it a bit, by making it usable at night, too, but that's not a big price to pay, if you limit yourself to daytime. :) http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35007
  2. A couple playthroughs back, I met my only Glowing Ones, at the nuclear test site. They were just regular ferals, with more HP, the ability to shoot rads out like a bomb, and a bit of glow about them. Like, enough that from a distance they could be seen as a silhouette. Well, today I was doing a quest for a mod, which requires you to find a bunker in the Devil's Throat. So, I go past Ranger Station Bravo, and I see this: http://imgur.com/hjuX3.jpg The glow is so much that they look like glowing Toribash characters, and it's enough that even my Nvidia Geforce 9500 GT and AMD dual-core 3.0 Ghz computer, with 4 GB of RAM, slows to a crawl, then eventually just crashes out. I went back to the nuke test site to see if it was only the GOs in Devil's Throat, but found the same thing, as evidenced by the screenshot. It seems like the rad effect for GOs is somehow waaay higher than it should be. I have only one mod that could affect it. Nevada Sky: Weather Effects. It's the only mod I have that messes in any way with lighting, and I really doubt it did anything to ghouls, but I figured I'd post it just in case. I had the Beware of Girl ghoul skin replacer for a while, but found it a bit distressing after a while, and got sick from how detailed it was, so got rid of all the files. I looked in every data folder, and there isn't anything that modifies GO radiation effects...any help would be appreciated very much. The only other possibility is the Valley of The Giants mod. It has a custom Glowing one, and, I dunno, maybe its rad effect is somehow being imposed on regular GOs. Edit: Definitely not VOTG. I disabled it, went to Nellis, saved, waited 24 hours, saved again, then quit, reloaded my save, fast-travelled back to Bravo, and they're still the same.
  3. IEdit: Decided to leave well enough alone. Dragging up every body in the closet causes more problems than solutions.
