  1. Hello first i apologize for any grammar errors.... Being in 2 3-D animation classes help, but having played Oblivion and morrowind for over 4 year and seeing all the fantastic mods have inspired me to study how to mod. I am mainly interested in modding armors, clothes,architecture, skins and hair as it seems easier to grasp(from reading several online tutorial, blender guides and hands on approach in Blender. Kind of also helps that im a 2-D artist : D. I am not new to CS, Photoshop, Gimp or nifskope, but i can always learn new things... Anyways my point of this thread is to introduce myself into modding world and ask for any tips if i haven't heard of them yet. Since i dedicated 79 gigs of Oblivion/Grand Theft Auto mod space to my computer, i am very grateful for the modders out there who make such wonderful mods and any who can teach me a thing or two as i only been hands on modding for almost 2 months.Suprisingly, its not as hard as my professor made it out to be, but i don't want to start on any big projects since i have no time now and its just stupid to do at my level. Right now, im getting into the intermediate area of modeling/rigging/texturing in blender. I am not moving onto what i'd really like to do until i am confident enough to do so( i am also slow learner ha) and i do not want to lose interest anytime soon. There may or may not be mods for this already, but these are the mod i will hope to release in the future. I already have all the necessary resources and would only have to import them to blender to get started. Of course i will have time to do this after exams and hopefully near the end of November although i just have to make new maps for nero's clothes and work on lower armor Future projects from Highest priority to lowest: Dante DMC4 Armor which includes playable hair Nero DMC4 armor also with playable hair( saw the infamous picture on Nexus mod moonshadow elves ) Classic Solid Snake and Big Boss armor Atsuma, Raigar, Mystery Man and Toya Armors from eNCHANT aRM( geez talk about high poly count...does anyone know of this game?- got it 53 bucks for used special addition- lol id always wanted to make armor for this) 3 outfits of Leon S. Kennedy w/ re-textured hair Human Race inspired by FF VII Ashly Gramm and Jack Krauser companion from RE4 Legend Of Dragoon Armors for Lavitz, Dart, Rose and Shana Silent Heaven Bar from Silent Hill 2 Travis clothes from No More Heroes with saber weapon* Robbie the Rabbit enchanted armor from Silent Hill 3 Voldo, Raphael, Kilik and Asholette armors, hairs and weapons* from Soul Caliber 4( cant wait for SC5) Pyramid Head from Silent Hill Homecoming( *i might not work on this since there seems to be a PH around Nexus ) Loz, Yazoo and Kadaj CM partners Gloria and Trish CM partners Midgar from FFVII ( I was thinking of asking creator from Duke city mod to help on this in the future if he is available) *weapons is my greatest challenge so if i ever get to make these, it would either take a looooong time or i might not just do it :\ if anyone want to help on this and some other thing id greatly appreciate it. Mods already completed: re-textured teddy bears and random objects from blender site 2 test armor mashups from oblivion and custom Playable Cloud Strife hair redone to match Advent Children version/less cartoony( annoying to fix..) Leon Kennedys Jacket and holster from RE4 P.S. I hate rigging >: \ and any tips on re-scaling imported objects and mesh without breaking Blender and getting errors will help greatly.

  5. I wish i could be of help, but im afraid i don't use any of those overhaul mod :/ the only thing i can say though is that you should run conflict detecter on OBMM or TES4edit. Since it seems you have a lot of overhaul mods, i would look at those first comparing them to the latest ones( i do have malevolent and it gave me some issues before..) Also i wouldn't recommend having streamline in the middle of load order but at the end. I had this problem before except that the exterior land appeared but i fell thorugh it and all interior floor disappeared, however the problem for me was the fact that i had an esm and esp that were the same mod and could not be used together( mistake on my part ) Apologies that i can't be much of help. i hope your problem gets solved soon..
  6. I posted this on tech thread, but until this was noticed it seems like the right one. My apologies =-= Ok so i've been having issues with 2chLivesMOON. For some reason none of the bodies appear . They all are wearing clothes but nothing else is visible. I think the moonshadow race shows up fine( although i only explored enough to notice one moonshadow npc) I think this may have to do with the fact that my Miqote race doesn't show up on character create menu. It showed up before when i first installed it, but now it isn't. Its installed properly. When i try to open it in CS though, the race doesn't appear. I do not know why it isn't appearing. even if i couldnt use 2chLives, id still like to use Miqote race and possibly make some custom textures :/ NOW i do not use 2chlives MOON, but regular version. I tried everything i could think of to not have headless npcs around but nothing is working... still id like to use elf add-on and miqote add-on too so Any help is appreciated. Most of them do show properly, just not the miqote...

  8. Is you mod in right load order? I have to put my SI at the top. Also make sure Oblivion.esm at at the very top. I think it depends on if you beat the quest for Si( i hear if you didn't it should go at the top and if you did it should go at the bottom. Same goes for other official DLC with exception of KOTN which always go at the bottom) ). Make sure you aren't running an esm or esp thats the same unless it required. I finally solved my issue and the case for me was tht i had an esm of the same .esp that i didn't need and thats what caused it. (turns out it was my Xeo race and not BP..-Xeo changes all npc in game-)
  9. All mods functioned fine, but now SI is added, there may be a few issues on that front. I am now quite sure that mods are causing the issues, I'm going to try adding them bit-by-bit to spot the odd-one-out. Im having this issue as well, except this problem happened just yesterday and i have over 300 mod installed and SI has been on my comp forever. I had to narrow the problem and its somewhow related to beautiful people race for me. I have no clue as to why but it is very frustrating. It worked perfectly before..I keep falling through the exterior land(mountains) and it seems a lot of interior cell floor have this effect as well.
  10. it turned out there were many errors....but didn't have to re-install the game( i didn't look thoroughly) 1)i re-installed obse+obmm and Construction set. After that i had to overwrite some of my esps(luckily i keep them saved on a disk) 2)Cleaned my registry. reboot 3)removed UAC(since i have Windows 7) rebooted cpu and then i updated everything on wrye bash and obmm. i also had other minor problem with another mod but that is fixed now after making an updated archiveinvalidation... It took forever(very very frustrating) but it was worth it. I recommend anyone with major mod or not back up their files including save. it can save a lot of time( investing in external hard-drive, or using disks...)
  11. I recently installed vipCxj mod for High heels and at first worked fine. But for some reason it didn't work anymore(Body was through the floor with arms out, first person mode was odd,body wouldn't move, Crashed everytime i try to go to inventory) and i decided to remove all files in an attempt to uninstall. This didn't fix it though. Any idea? edit** fixed 1) uninstall then re-install 2)fixed load order 3)Archive invalidation **NOTE** this may have issue with personality_idles,see_you_sleep, and skeletons if you do NOT overwrite vipcxj's skeleton with the one before. this part is most important, besides load order. Make sure Highheels.esp is before all so it won't screw up badly with idles. You could make higheels.esp into .esm to avoid the problem(with TES4edit, but you don't have to, its just recommended) also make sure the HHtest.esp comes after Highheels.esp. If you use Neoknight armour, make sure it loads after Highheels.esp. if you dont have proper load for these, it can screw up your first person view and make the bodies go through the floor. Breasts will look odd as well... Also be careful if you use lock times on wrye bash(i don't) it could mess up your order if you also use obmm
  12. Thank you. I got the files to finally show up on the launcher after i unistalled-reinstalled TESCS, but its now saying most of the data files are invalid including the Oblivion.esm. -sigh- i guess i'll have to re-install everything..
  13. No i did not. Its all still located in my C: I run Windows 7 Home edition. i have over 160 mods installed and all of them work fine Also this just happen today. Everything was working fine yesterday until i reinstalled OBMM and it changed all my esp(s), esm(s)
  14. When i launch Oblivion launcher it crashes saying unable to detect master file. When i launch TES construction set and try to load data it doesnt detect anything( the data screen is absolutely empty). I recently reinstalled OBMM and i think the problem might be that after i did, it made all of my construction set files(esp-esm) change into Oblivion master data file or oblivion plugin file(esp)* the icon changes into the construction set icon* and when i click on it it goes to TES construction. All of data files show up on OBMM, but if i try to launch the game it crashes in loading screen.
