  1. This whole thing is a farce. I agree that consoles should see mods, but at this point, there's not much to be done with it. Consoles players have a parasitic relationship with the modding community, not of their own accord either. They are incapable of providing any mods, but they can't even do that right because as far as I'm aware, they have no script extender. That's the nail in the coffin right there, when I mod skyrim, I've lost count of how many mods I use state "requires SKSE" or require a mod that does. Currently console players cannot hope to get these mods. What's more, a quick look at the Fallout 4 modding community is all you need to see how bad things will be in future. We're barely half a year in and popular mod's developers have gone completely off-grid. The highest rated and earliest weapon mods I recall on Nexus (the M9, R91 and whatnot) haven't seen a comment from developer in months. If things are already like this now, how's it going to be in a year. But now the killer: what about Skyrim? How many modders will actually return to port mods, and how many will never see consoles short of mod theft? Frankly console is never going to be at the same point at this rate, and all that we gain currently is a small distance-closer between us and them and a monstrous amount of mod theft. This whole console modding fiasco has been a complete screw-up, and frankly I feel bad for both the modders and the poor console players who have to watch all this unfold, especially while Bethesda keep touting "it just works". One of my closest friends is a PS4 player, who was nothing but optimistic about mods, who doesn't dare use the bloody system because of how much theft there is. Hell, one of the current front-page mods has its creator openly saying "I'm not porting because f*#@ the console community" (maybe not in those words), which pretty much shows the toxicity and why my friend is staying out of this.
  2. I'm in the same boat. I discovered that my antivirus appears to be the cause as when disabled everything functions perfectly. Happened about the same time yours did. Spent the last two days trying to fix it. Speaking to Bullguard (my AV provider) to see if they have any ideas.
  3. It is during the logo point, before smoke appears. ENB has just enough time to tell me Boris made it, about 3 seconds after that appears it dies. Usually whenever I've had a load order problem it's been straight-away, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it speed. I am thinking it could be the load order though after further review as I rebooted my mod order and it worked briefly, then once MO decided to tell me is should definitely swap my load order about it went back to how it was. I can get a load order list if you need?
  4. I've been playing modded Skyrim with my current lineup for a while. Had an issue with one or two mods and switched them out. Subequently when I tried to load the game, it goes to the Skyrim logo, ENB triggers in the top like it usually does, and after a few seconds it CTDs. Spent a while trying to figure it out, and managed to learn how to get a dump file. I still can't see what's causing it. As far as I can tell, the load order is fine, and unlike a usual load order problem it takes time to trigger, so I am assuming it isn't that. I have ENB installed and a couple of checks makes me think it's something to do with ENB, though I cannot determine what's wrong or how to fix it. Can anyone lend me a hand? Dump file is as follows: Dump Summary------------Dump File: 2015-09-11_17.43.49.dmp : C:\Users\Andrew\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SKSE\Crashdumps\2015-09-11_17.43.49.dmpLast Write Time: 11/09/2015 18:44:34Process Name: TESV.exe : E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exeProcess Architecture: x86Exception Code: 0xC0000005Exception Information: The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.Heap Information: Not Present System Information------------------OS Version: 10.0.10240CLR Version(s): Modules-------Module Name Module Path Module Version----------- ----------- --------------TESV.exe E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\TESV.exe 1.9.32.0ntdll.dll C:\Windows\System32\ntdll.dll 6.2.10240.16430kernel32.dll C:\Windows\System32\kernel32.dll 6.2.10240.16384KERNELBASE.dll C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll 6.2.10240.16384apphelp.dll C:\Windows\System32\apphelp.dll 6.2.10240.16384user32.dll C:\Windows\System32\user32.dll 6.2.10240.16384gdi32.dll C:\Windows\System32\gdi32.dll 6.2.10240.16390advapi32.dll C:\Windows\System32\advapi32.dll 6.2.10240.16384msvcrt.dll C:\Windows\System32\msvcrt.dll 7.0.10240.16384sechost.dll C:\Windows\System32\sechost.dll 6.2.10240.16384rpcrt4.dll C:\Windows\System32\rpcrt4.dll 6.2.10240.16412sspicli.dll C:\Windows\System32\sspicli.dll 6.2.10240.16384CRYPTBASE.dll C:\Windows\System32\CRYPTBASE.dll 6.2.10240.16384bcryptPrimitives.dll C:\Windows\System32\bcryptPrimitives.dll 6.2.10240.16384shell32.dll C:\Windows\System32\shell32.dll 6.2.10240.16463windows.storage.dll C:\Windows\System32\windows.storage.dll 6.2.10240.16405combase.dll C:\Windows\System32\combase.dll 6.2.10240.16384shlwapi.dll C:\Windows\System32\shlwapi.dll 6.2.10240.16384kernel.appcore.dll C:\Windows\System32\kernel.appcore.dll 6.2.10240.16384SHCore.dll C:\Windows\System32\SHCore.dll 6.2.10240.16384powrprof.dll C:\Windows\System32\powrprof.dll 6.2.10240.16384profapi.dll C:\Windows\System32\profapi.dll 6.2.10240.16384ole32.dll C:\Windows\System32\ole32.dll 6.2.10240.16384steam_api.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\steam_api.dll 2.37.91.26D3DX9_42.dll C:\Windows\System32\D3DX9_42.dll 9.27.952.3001X3DAudio1_7.dll C:\Windows\System32\X3DAudio1_7.dll 9.28.1886.0wsock32.dll C:\Windows\System32\wsock32.dll 6.2.10240.16384dinput8.dll C:\Windows\System32\dinput8.dll 6.2.10240.16384winmm.dll C:\Windows\System32\winmm.dll 6.2.10240.16384binkw32.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\binkw32.dll 1.9.99.0ws2_32.dll C:\Windows\System32\ws2_32.dll 6.2.10240.16384nsi.dll C:\Windows\System32\nsi.dll 6.2.10240.16384d3d9.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\d3d9.dll 1.0.0.1XINPUT1_3.dll C:\Windows\System32\XINPUT1_3.dll 9.18.944.0WINMMBASE.dll C:\Windows\System32\WINMMBASE.dll 6.2.10240.16384D3DX9_43.dll C:\Windows\System32\D3DX9_43.dll 9.29.952.3111setupapi.dll C:\Windows\System32\setupapi.dll 6.2.10240.16384cfgmgr32.dll C:\Windows\System32\cfgmgr32.dll 6.2.10240.16384devobj.dll C:\Windows\System32\devobj.dll 6.2.10240.16384imm32.dll C:\Windows\System32\imm32.dll 6.2.10240.16384msctf.dll C:\Windows\System32\msctf.dll 6.2.10240.16384skse_steam_loader.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\skse_steam_loader.dll 0.1.7.3comdlg32.dll C:\Windows\System32\comdlg32.dll 6.2.10240.16405version.dll C:\Windows\System32\version.dll 6.2.10240.16384comctl32.dll C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_5.82.10240.16384_none_49c02355cf03478c\comctl32.dll 5.82.10240.16384hook.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\hook.dll 2.7.5.0msvcr120.dll C:\Windows\System32\msvcr120.dll 12.0.21005.1msvcp120.dll C:\Windows\System32\msvcp120.dll 12.0.21005.1psapi.dll C:\Windows\System32\psapi.dll 6.2.10240.16384skse_1_9_32.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\skse_1_9_32.dll 0.1.7.3dbghelp.dll C:\Windows\System32\dbghelp.dll 6.2.10240.16384dbgcore.dll C:\Windows\System32\dbgcore.dll 6.2.10240.16384AHZmoreHUDPlugin.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\mods\moreHUD\SKSE\Plugins\AHZmoreHUDPlugin.dll 0.2.1.3OneTweak.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\mods\OneTweak\SKSE\plugins\OneTweak.dll 2.0.1.3SKSE_EnhancedCamera.dll E:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\mods\Skyrim - 5. I've installed a good amount of mods now, and after playing for a while, I noticed that a notable number of characters appear to have significant tonal differences between face and body, creating a pretty noticable colour change right at the cutoff point. What I'm using: CBBE w/ BodyslideBetter Males - BN&FNPCs of DibellaKFollowersSome other follower mods, which appear unaffectedOther mods that I don't think should have an effect on this, but probably do. Things I've noticed: It appears to largely be affecting followersOrcs, Dark Elves and (I think) some Khajiit are affectedCharacters from KFollowers (most notably Morthana, whose face is a reddish colour) and NPCs of Dibella (Most notably Jenassa, whose face looks near-tan, as well as Aela the Huntress, but I fear that may be something else) are affectedChanging the weight of the character reboots the face to a matching colour, but only until leaving a cell performing any action to load a cellI feel this is affecting more than I have seen, and am wondering if anyone else has seen this happen and knows a cause/way around it. Thanks in advance.
  6. Everything was perfectly stable prior to adding mods. Oblivion was patched up to the newest official version, shivering isles is patched up to latest official as well (well, it's the most recent one available). I fixed this issue, but now it's back again, once again kicking me when I don't expect it. Looks like it's going to be spot-the-difference again. I'll post when/if I get it fixed.
  7. Hey, I'm looking for someone with modding experience to make a weapon for me. Can someone re-texture an Sharp Amber Longsword (mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=18464) with a texture similar to that of the Magmic varaint of BSS's battlemage armor (mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12822)? I've finally got an armor that I like, but now I cannot find a weapon that I like that is similar. If possible, don't make it a replacement mod, but just add it into the weaponsmiths in bliss. I would also request that you leave it unenchanted and on par with a "perfect" variant. Thanks in advance. GroverA
  8. All mods functioned fine, but now SI is added, there may be a few issues on that front. I am now quite sure that mods are causing the issues, I'm going to try adding them bit-by-bit to spot the odd-one-out.
  9. Ladies and gentlemen of the forum, I am having a slight issue that I require assistance with: Whenever I exit into an exterior cell (eg Chorrol, outside of Imperial sewers, anywhere with grass basically), the floor is not present at all, and I fall through where it should be until I hit water, all other NPCs in my area following in my footsteps as well. If it helps at all, I had just installed shivering isles (correct patch, highest official one), tested to see if it worked correctly, which it did, then quit and set up mods (none of which change any setting on the floor, as far as I am aware), and then upon returning, I found that the floor had went on holiday and I was falling through it. All other objects (buildings, NPCs, weather, etc.) were still present, short of the NPCs falling through the now-absent floor I suspect it may be an issue with the floor meshes, but am unsure and would rather not cause severe damage without first consulting people with experience with the matter. Any help or tips to prevent this happening in the future would be nice. Thanks in advance. Edit: The mods I am using are as follows: CM partners mod basic, HGEC body V1.21, Cazy hair pack and Babe hair pack, nightshade armor (HGEC upgrade) and HGEC Darkillusion 1.0.
  10. Hey, I've had quite an issue with the CM partners mod. I am physically unable to recruit the partners that are in game, can someone please run me through what to do? Whenever I talk to any there are no conversation options, and no chance to ask them to join. I also recall something about two rings, they also will not appear, think I might have had an issue. Can anyone please help with this?
