I might be wrong and I am open to change but I only went as far back as the 1.9.4 build because I recalled when first playing this game it was around April 2017 and that version had some of my favourite mods including but not limited to: Cannibas Commonwealth and Skimpy Clothing replacer. Upon my continual research, the internet has told me that the only mods I have to worry about are mods that rely on the script extender. It was reported to me that if I use a new build of Fallout 4, Id have to use a new build of script extender which forces me to use only new mods. So if i had a mod that didnt rely on script extender, I could use it. This is unconfirmed on me end mainly due to how long it takes to mod Fallout 4. What you told me to do worked on my version of Fallout. After installing the linked mod, I can see and choose all of the Menu options. I got through the first 2 hours(actually it was 40 minutes but still) of the game; what with making my character and all.
