  1. Just doing a flyby, wishing you a nice day! *swoosh
  2. Hey there, thanks for dropping by. Yes she does, but hey: she's good at that! ;) Have a nice day!
  3. Hey there, you shouldn't be needing a mod like this for FO3. Most of the armors come with seperate helmets, for the few who don't (i.e. the chinese stealth suit) there are mods that remove the helmet/seperate it from the rest of the armors! Greetz
  4. Basically, to adjust the leveling of some poses you should try the "tfik" command. Fixes most of the issues with the sitting/lying poses. Changing the height with the console left me too with the problem that the characters are falling back into place. I think there's no way to fix that!
  5. Sure thing, you're welcome! Be sure to check out all of lost riders and backsteppos pose mods, they cover almost everything one could need for taking screenshots. If you should miss a pose or have a request for a certain pose, feel free to contact me agein. I'm doing poses myself and I'm currently trying to gather enough poses together to release my own pose mod asap. Take a look at my fo3nexus page to get an impression what I've done so far if you like! Greetz *Sari
  6. Okay, now it's getting kinda complicated. I suppose you checked the mods name in fallout launcher/data files!? in case you type player.playidle blabla you don't have to click on your player character. Maybe you should try this!?
  7. Sorry if this sounds a bit clumsy but, did you bring up the console first by pressing the "^" key (the one next to the number 1 in the top left corner on your keyboard?
  8. Hey there, which instructions did you follow? Most important thing is, that you FIRST enter third person camera ("F") and THEN type "tfc" into the console. After that just type "player.playidle fxx" (xx= number of the pose). Sorry if you already did this. If it still won't work, did you drop the files into the apprpriate folders?
  9. Try using a ram booster. Fallout won't use your full 4GB of RAM unless you tell it to. Use google search "FO3 RAM Boost" Don't know if it solves your problem but it gave me some extra fps. Is your processor a dual core? Edit: Oops, just saw you were asking about help on NV but as far as I read, it works for NV too!
  10. Hm as far as I know and what I've read so far, that isn't possible. What the clone command of the groovatron does is use the "player.placeleveledactoratme 7" command. After that I used to manually add the pieces of equipment to the spawned clone with the "additem"/"equipitem" command. This turned out to be a real pain in the ... but I can't think of any other way right now.
  11. Hey there and welcome to Fallout 3! ;) Don't be too concerned about the bsa files. The games vanilla meshes and textures come packed in these archives, some times mods have bsa archives too buts the hardly the case. Just drop the respective files in the data folder and its subfolders (meshes/textures/sounds). I'm not quite sure if these dropped files override the packed vanilla files by default. In any event event, I would recommend you get the programs "ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated" and "Fallout Mod Manager" (FOMM) Once you got used to the process, installing FO3 mods is a pretty convenient thing! ;) Oh and I forgot: 90% of the mods come with an *.esm or *.esp file. These files need to be placed directly into the DATA folder. Once you start the custom FO Launcher, go to "Data Files" the dropped esp file should show up. Place the checkmark and start the game, there you go. This also goes much smoother with FOMM!
  12. Hey there, nice you dropped by. Poses aren't really makin progress, all hell breaks lose on work these days, but it's definitely still in the making! Greeetz
  13. Since I am/was eager to know too, I took a look around and found "The Road" with Viggo Mortensen. Still haven't seen it yet but the scenes from the trailer reminded me very strong of Fallout. Although it seems to show rather the desolate and desperate side of fallout!
  14. Before I start after taking a nap: are you able to use special german characters like "Ö" "Ä" and "Ü" !?
  15. Hey there and welcome to the Nexus! Basically, modding the game is most of the time copying and pasting/replacing files. You should get some basic enhancements like the Fallout Mod Manager (often referred to as FOMM) and "ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated" there are some good threads on modding essentials at this forum. Also make sure to read every mod's readme carefully, since they contain more or less good installation guides. You should definitely get familiar with your FO3 directories, espacially the "data" folder. Most of the mods that replace armor and weapons consist of files that need to be dropped into the "meshes" and "textures" folders. Just check it out once you're ready and you'll find it's pretty much self-explaining. Oh, and you should get a program like "7zip" or "winrar" since all of the mods come packed in rar or 7z archives. Greetz *Sari
  16. Hey there, I can help you out with the german translation. I'll get to it tomorrow and PM you the results once I'm done! :) Greetz *Sari
  17. Hm, just wondering cause I've seen the "Full-Brushed" Hairstyle on a screenshot where it was much more detailed!? Maybe I should try a higher resolution once I got m new monitor! ;) thx anyways!
  18. OH APPENDIX! Anybody got an idea how to get rid of that extrem glossy/shiny look on some of the hairstyles!? Gonna add some screenshots later! Thx
  19. Hi there, welcome to the Nexus and the Forums! I also dropped by pretty much recently! Have fun browsing the nexus, I found out quick that, no matter in which direction you wanna mod the game, you can have it! If you got some basic knowledge of how to replace/copy/backup files you'll have bo problem installing most of the mods, for it's very well explained in most cases! Greetz, Sari
  20. Hey Guys! Fallout 3 caught my attention relatively late, so did FO3Nexus. Big props go out to all the wonderful modders for creating and sharing some serious artwork, that really brings out the very rest of this game. However I ran into some complications regarding mainly various Hair packs. I downloaded Ling's Coiffure and installed it properly. Later I noticed that some of my hair meshes/textures look kinda "cloddy". I've seen the same hairs on screenshots (e.g. @ BlackBlossoms BewareofGirlized mods) where they look much finer. I've included some of my screenshots from the barbermenu, to show what I mean. Am I missing some meshes/textures/additional mods? Or am I simply running into some hardware issues? Im playing FO3 on a Intel i3 @ 2,93 Ghz and a NVidia Geforce GT 330. I also already tried to set all the game's graphic setting to maximum. I'd be grateful for any advice, pls help! Greetz, Sari
