  1. Operation optimization: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10510 Streamlined: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=10400 Low Poly Grass: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5434 These should increase your framerate significantly. ;)
  2. Servant of The Dawn: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6855 This basically gives you a quest line for the Mythic Dawn, so you can play as a Daedra Worshipper, and once you finish all the quests, you become the councellor of Cyrodil, and gain the ability to be immune to the law (meaning guards won't be able to arrest you and such no matter what bounty you have) as well as the power to order your guards (correct me if wrong, can't remember). You can also freely enter any part of the imperial palace as well as enter the council room itself. However, there won't be any Council meetings as such. Hope this much is fine. Also, in order to start this quest you must complete the story quest for Oblivion.
  3. Here ya go: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=23289 There's also a quest mod called "Lost Spires" which rewards you with a portable enchanter and spell maker. (Don't remember if you're rewarded or you have to find them, but they're there) Can be found here: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=12997
  4. If you want help, you can: 1. Post it in the Oblivion Mod Detectives and you'll be sure to get an answer within an hour or a day (depends) unless it's a rare or ripped outfit. 2. Ask the uploader of the screenshot to give you a link to the file or at least some information on what it is. 3. Do some search in the Mod Detectives, the info on the outfit might have already been posted there. Good Luck. ;) EDIT: Right I misunderstood. Yeah I don't think many modders do requests as they usually mod for themselves and then share their work if they feel like it. You'll have to learn it yourself if you wanna get what you want. Sorry mate. x3 You could always check out the "armor" or "cloths" section on tesnexus - I'm sure there'll be something that'll spark your interest.
  5. I recommend Face Exchange Lite This is a simple utility which allows you to save face files from existing save files and implement them on existing characters: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=7808 It's easy to use, so you'll be able to figure everything out just by playing around with it. ;)
  6. A solution would be to download an LOD file such as: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2182 I personally recommend this one: http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=oblivionmods.detail&id=2246 And put the files in: Data\textures\landscapelod\generated Create the folders if you don't have them.
  7. For the facials you might wanna try Natural faces: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1965 It makes Oblivion NPC's less wrinkley.
  8. Nope. Animation replacers I use are as follows: Silver Ranger (Well, it shows up in 3rd person for me, but yeh) Spell Singer Animation Replacer pack v.1_5 Pretty Woman Jump Project DMC Stylish (Just the idle stance for the 2 handed weapons) KSTN Stylized Stance Dunno if this is helpful, but yeh. Might as well check my load order and post back later. EDIT: Silly me, I didn't study the folder directory thoroughly (optional -> Data -> Meshes) and just threw everything in! xD Well problem solved! Just my stupidity lol.
  9. You mean this? http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=31084 Or was there another Silver Ranger before this? O.o Also bells are starting to ring when you said "Silver Ranger fix". I just can't remember where I found it... >.< If possible could you just send me a pm with a link? ;)
  10. "Sometimes"? xD Perhaps you're using 3rd person animation to 1st person, or maybe I screwed up somewhere when installing the mod. However I checked again and it clearly states that the animation only applies to 3rd person. x3
  11. Thanks for the quick reply, but Silver Ranger only applies to 3rd person animations, sadly. :(
  12. Hey there. I'm looking for a mod which changes the way you hold the bow in first person. So instead of holding the bow vertically, you'd hold it horizontally like so: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/images/31358-2-1272253855.jpg I remember I found the link to it long time ago, and now I just can't seem to find it. It was on tesnexus by the ways. xD
  13. Actually, Rikimaru is a Satyr, and from what I know there's a mod which is a custom race of the "Drainei" from WoW which look pretty simillar to Satyrs from Warcraft except they are bulkier and more muscular and don't have horns. You could start from there and use the CS to put in custom skills like add a greater power which grants 100% chameleon or something at night (cause permanent invisibility is ridiculous for Oblivion). It'll make it easier for modders as all they'll have to do is add horns, and easy tasks are more encouraging. ;)
  14. Hmm. Dont want to take up everyones time, but now that Ive seen it, I cant resist not having it. In that video it appears the player had companions and they had like a party set-up normally seen in MMO's, what mod is that? Im guessing it has something to do with HUD Status bars? However thats pretty awesome none the less. Secondly where can you find weapons that LOOK like that anywhere? Ive searched countless times for something that looks that decent and have yet to turn up anything that flashy and shiny. Any help is MUCH welcomed. Judging by the characters I would say Chakaru made this video so she might be able to give more answers than me. As it says in the credits, some of the weapons come from Romuska Fantasy Store and the Axe is an edited version from the Aion Heranas weapon pack but I can't link it here since it's a rip. Sooo *rubs hands* I am sorry that this answer took so long, I did not have internet over the weekend. I't's true that I made this video, so I am answering the questions one by one, ok? The spells ...are actually from Midas Magic spells of Aurum. At least the meshes are, but I retextured some of them. The red rune spells are my retextures because I am playing the character in red with the scythe, so she has her own spells XD I am weird like that. They are the Midas Magic Spell Shield (the one where the runes surround you) and the Midas Magic Arcane Burst (later in the video in the part with the huge demon thing.) The other two spells you mentioned (the ice pillars and the fire blast) are actually unedited Midas Magic spells, namely the Glyph of Ice and the Fire Burst. I know that once you have all spells the list is enormous and sometimes you don't find spells you like, but they are all there :D The companion health hud ...is a very handy OBSE/pluggy tool by asian modders called HUDcompanion0.1.1. Google it, it should be one of the first results. If anyone has problems installing it (since there is no readme XD) PM me. The weapons Are indeed retextured/recolored rips with added magic effects (like the wings on the red halberd and the shiny sparkle stuff on the blue spear). The red halberd is the AION heranas pa (partisan?) and the blue spear is the "hand of cabrio" from a Lineage 2 weapon pack. Wow, I am sorry for this post. But all I did today was making lists for University and now I can't stop doing it. Thanks Chakaru! Makes everything so much easier! ^^
  15. I'm looking for spells which are shown in this video: specifically the Ice Pillars, Red runes which surround you and the fire blast. I checked out Midas Magic, but it didn't seem to contain these kind of spells. Thanks in advance. :)
  16. Don't waste your time with Lindivoir. I managed to download it from the Nexus before it was pulled and the guy has password protected it. I still have it saved somewhere at home but it can't be opened unless you know how to get past the password. Before I'm asked to pm the file anyway, I'm hundreds of miles away from home at the moment and from the computer that the file is saved to. Have the files sadly no password :-( Ah, it's okay. xD I got the file already, and I'm happy! lol. ^.^
  17. the colored menu and the alternate positioning of the interface is the DarkUId DarN found here: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=11280 As for the poses, they're pose mods: http://tesnexus.com/downloads/search.php There's many of them. ^^
  18. It's in the directory where you installed Oblivion, for e.g. C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion It should be called "OblivionLauncher" by default.
  19. You don't really need the Mod manager, it just makes things easier, especially if you want to uninstall mods which overwrite certain files etc. Usually when you download a Mod, you'll have a "DATA" file and a file with a .esp extension. All you do is put the DATA file in your Oblivion directory and the .esp file into the DATA folder e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Data Confirm when it asks you about replacement. Afterwards launch the "OblivionLauncher" and click on "Data Files" Look for the .esp file which you just inserted and tick it. Click OK. Play and have fun. Edit: If you are planning to install big mods such as The Lost Spires, the Oblivion Manager is recommended as some mods will be installed in OBMM format (or something like that). You're also able to manage mods more easily and it's easier to uninstall the mods, as simply "deleting" files can really mess up your game (unless you're just using armor and cloth mods).
  20. Solved it. I just had to tick the "Preview Face". xD Anyways, I managed to paste my characters' face onto the CMpartner, however, she's bald! (actually, she has the "cropped" vanilla hair style) Any idea how to change that? xD
  21. Okay, I have a slight problem. Whenever I click on "Copy" on the "blank.esp" Face Advanced tab, the TES CS crashes... ...help? xD
  22. Thanls for replying! Found the tutorial included in the Readme lol. Silly me *knocks head* Thanks, geuss my question is answered. xD
  23. Okay so I wanted to make CM partners, and have been reading up tutorials how to do it. I know how to make CM partners with custom races etc. and put them into the game. The problem I'm having is however related to applying my character's face onto my CM partner. I tried using the editor in the CS but it's just a pain in the butt as it took me quite a while to acheive the result. I also successfully (after countless tries) installed Wrye Bash as that's what some forum topics recommended. I used the "dump face" or whatever it was command to apply the face of my save game to my mod, however I was unsuccessful. So my question is, how do I do it? xD Is there any simple way for instance, to just convert my character from a Save File into a CM partner mod? I want to create this CM Partner and share, as my first mod lol. xD
  24. Ummm, I stated that I draw, not model. xD So I can design....using pencil and paper. I already got a concept on the thread (link provided in previous post) and i'm hoping a modeller will model it.
  25. I actually started a thread simillar to this one here: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/307764-request-the-dragon-mount-project/ except my thread focuses more on members gathering and designing/providing ideas for dragons, hoping that modders will fulfill the requests. xD Anyways, I can't mod, but I can design lol so I'll go ahead and fill in an application form: Name: tnguye3 Skills: Drawing Mods: None I'm interested in the making wild dragons and ridable dragons bit. ;)
