  1. So Mage's Sky House has this pretty cool door that was inspired by the one from Howl's Moving Castle. If you seen the movie then you know how the door functions. There's a device near the front door that decides where you're going. In the film it's a four colored wheel but in Mage's Sky House it's a crank with a portrait above it depicting your destination. When you go through the door you're dropped off in front of the city's Mages Guild Hall. (Save for the Imperial City, which drops you off at an abandoned warehouse in the Market District.) It's similar to Frostcrag's teleport except that you're dropped off outside of the hall's door as opposed to being dropped off in the middle of the interior. The problem with OSR is that it pretty much quarantines the original city and replaces it on the world map with a fully loaded "Open" city in the Tamriel Worldspace. The door in Mage's Sky House will try to drop you off in the original city, which will be a giant mess of assets in the wrong places and it essentially not the city you're trying to get into. So the idea for this patch is to change the magic door's drop off points to the outside of the corresponding Guild Halls in all of the Open versions of the cities, something I thought would be a simple feat. I was wrong. I keep trying to set the doors to go where I want but I have no idea how to move the teleport marker. Does anyone know how I can just make a door go somewhere else?
  2. Turned out to be a conflict between Oblivion Reloaded and Enhanced Camera. I don't know how VORB caused a problem between two irrelevant mods.
  3. I installed VORB and it messed up my camera. I'm stuck in third person, it won't switch to first. I uninstalled VORB. Problem not fixed. Tried deleting _1stperson, tried un/reinstalling a camera mod. Nothing.
  4. I'm not sure which mod is doing this but it's driving me insane. If I have a shield equipped and I draw my weapon the camera will do this annoying tilt to the right. It took me a while to realize what it was. I had to do it in third person to see that was it. I don't know what mod is doing that but my money's on Oblivion Reloaded since I had to mess with the INI file before to get rid of head-bob (I hate head-bob so much). I checked the INI but couldn't find anything pertaining to this and I'm pretty sure it wasn't in the original game. Which mod do you think is causing this headache? http://i.imgur.com/cXp6LnZ.png

  6. So I made a spell called "Silver Tongue" at the Frostcrag Spellmaking Altar. The spell just fortifies Speechcraft by 100 pts. Basically I use it while having my sword drawn to raise the max disposition. What's driving me nuts however is the fact that I'm only getting +75 to my Speechcraft. http://i.imgur.com/eB7S2LT.jpg I don't know if this is a problem with mods or Oblivion itself so I posted it here.   7. Guess who has no idea what he's doing again! I spent hours trying to find a way to fix this and have repeatedly uninstalled and reinstalled mods as well as any patches that may help. But now it's almost 10 PM (CST) and I'm super tired. I've posted screenshots of the problem and my load order below, as well as my BAIN installer page. I'd be very appreciative of any help you can give me. Most of the map is fine but the Chapel is all screwy. I'm guessing it has something to do with the Knights of The Nine expansion. But all compatibility patches I've tried have been fruitless. Fixed it. I needed a patch for Kvatch Rebuilt. I kind of assumed a mod that affects Kvatch wouldn't have an effect on Anvil, an entirely different city.
  8. Yeah, I should have figured it out. I understand the nature of the glitch now. To open the mod's options menu you have to hold the Sprint Key as well as both Strafe Keys. But if your timing is a bit off the Speed boost will remain and can even stack. But now that I know the console command to get rid of it I'll be cool. Also, thanks for mentioning the stat change thing in UOP, Striker. I've recently been having problems where my armor stats are being debuffed by their sum. (In other words, to zero) Thanks for the help, guys.
  9. Thanks. I fixed it myself earlier but in an overly complicated way involving making my own mod. At least I'll know better from now on.
  10. Okay! I brought this up in a mod thread when the boost was only +300. It's jumped up by another +300 making it 600. My character is absurdly fast now, it's bordering on unplayable.   11. Forget it. I started a new game. Also the lack of a charm spell was caused by Supreme Magicka, which I uninstalled.
  12. Also, despite having TWO charm spells I can't make any at the spellmaking altar.
  13. I don't have the foggiest clue how this one happened. I was playing the game normally when I noticed I was moving absurdly fast and checked my status. My Speed was boosted by 300 points! While this glitch is technically beneficial to me I don't like that it isn't something I earned like Speed boosting spell, also moving too fast is really awkward with all the sudden stops I make. Now some of you guys are probably thinking, "Check your active effects in the spell menu!" I already did. The only thing there was Magicka + 30 that I got from the outfit I was wearing. I have a sprinting mod installed but I don't think that has anything to do with it. I will say this glitch occurred while I was messing around with the Doomstones. I was trying to get the temporary Fortify Skill and Fortify Attribute skills from them so I'd have them on my spell alter. Obviously the effects of the stones faded but after that my Speed got an absurd boost. What's more is that on the screen it's displayed as 40(My base Speed) + 300. This tells me it's a buff and not a change in the base stat, yet I don't have any buffs like that in my status menu.   14. I got the mod but I'm not sure how to set this up. I looked at the INI file and just got confused.
  15. This is more of a convenience thing but I'd like to have a tiny window pop-up over my Health bar showing my EXP for whatever skill I'm using. I could try to make the mod on my own but I'd still need help to figure out how to make it work. The Way I Imagine It I imagine a bar showing up somewhere on the UI that shows advancement in one skill and it pops up whenever it changes. It'll stay there for a while but if you don't gain any EXP for a while it'll just fade away. You may have to disable the ability to see Athletic increases or make it where more than one bar pops up at once. Obviously I'd like it to be as unintrusive as possible. I, personally, have a 1920 x 1080 resolution and my UI is very small so it may need to be customizable for people with smaller displays or people that use large HUDs. You could have the bars appear then have a second one appear if you upgrade something else. Or the bars could be omni-present and show the last two or three skills you've increased. The reason I want it is for grinding. It'd be better than constantly pressing F1. I also must keep track of my skills so I don't overlevel.
  16. Okay. Lag problem has been resolved. Imperial City problem resolved. Everything checks out in that regard. The only problem is that I seem to installed a mod that makes it impossible to use the wait command. But y'know I guess I can deal with that. Thanks, guys.
  17. Thanks. It was the Grass Overhaul mod that was causing the problem with the landscape. Now I need to fix the Imperial City. I think I know the problem with that. But now it's lagging, so I don't know what to do about that.

  19. Right off the bat let me say this version of Oblivion I'm playing on is heavily modded. I could try nuking my install and starting over but I've done that too many times and I can actually get the game to run. So I'm going to try and fix it. I need some help, though identifying the problematic mods and any conflicts. I'll post my mod load list as well as the few mods I installed via NMM.
