I dont think itd be quite game breaking. The Assault Doll IS an Android of some sorts,just it seems they like to go psycho on the trigger. The Walker tanks to me seem more plausible then Prime and PA. A fun quest hunting them in the wastes,like they broke out of a factory or something,or finding a factory that was producing the walker tanks and you can "acquire" one

Seeing an Assault Doll chase my drunken dude down would be scary :P They just seem like what the Enclave and BoS could build yknow?

So it was time to reinstall FNV. And start over I did. BUT Now my animations are off!!! NPCs and animals have no attack anims,or running anims. I didnt have this problem before I reinstalled,I only did it to fix the CTD every 5 minutes. And some other problems. NPC humans have head spin,animals and humans do not walk,they bounce or clip into ground. Guess this is what I get for letting Steam update the game.. :wallbash: Mind you,this is ONLY with the Caravan Pack and NV.esm. How do i fix?

Hmm,I just dont like the Vanilla mines I think theyre horribly ugly lol I was just curios about replacing or adding them. I could care less if theyre directional,Im just lookin for something better to blow up fiends with.What mod was supposed to have them?

A talking witty cyberdog would be awesome. However I would like to see more male companions.its not like I have enough women in my house... but id be ok with a good companion with a quest,ala Willow,as shes pretty much got it all in a good comp. Heres one... A cyber dog with a human brain? I mean,what goes on in Big MT would support it after what theyve done.

Ive noticed since update 1.4 on NV and 2.9 beta NVSE Ive been getting tons more CTD now..

Is there a mod for a claymore mine? EDIT also looking for a mod to replace dogs,similar how there was one to replace Dog from FO3 with a more military look to them,he had med kits on a harness kind of deal I just ont like the look of the Cyberdogs and Rex so I want to replace them and the dogs the NCR uses Any help?

I dont think the gamebryo engine that was modified for fallout could handle that to be honest,it would have to be done by the modders as weve seen the makers have done an excellent job in bug catching and management :P

Is there a good gillie suit mod? there was one for FO3 but I havent seen one on here yet

Is there a mod that actually has correct Grenade rifle and launcher sights? The ones that are vanilla dont account for the arc so you end up missing a lot of your shots.

Well hopefully this patch fixes it,cause its getting old fast :( Ive never had this many problems in FO3(unless I have a crapton of enemies onscreen,like MMM adds,the subway) and id only crash then. Hopefully the next Fallout overhauls the engine and fixes some of these game breakers.

Where do I find the Cache files? cause im gonna find em and clear them out and re download if its the sutpid cache files. Why steam do you have to make my gaming experience so wonderful and awful at the same time?? :( EDIT yeah i deleted the .ini files too and reset those but still nothing

Just did it from the disk.same bug,open,CTD almost instantly. i get the FalloutNV.exe has stopped working windows will yadda yadda yadda

I didnt leave a single thing in that folder. I went thru it before I uninstalled it and weeded out every FNV file nad deleted it. And im completly amazed at how nothing seems to make it work. I literally went through my steam folder and deleted anything with FNV on it.then I redownloaded it and let Steam do its "magic"

Ive had FNV since release,I loved it,(new bugginess smell and all) but then it started to get all funky on me,and my opinion changed,I think Im gonna sit on it for awhile,and run back to DC and scavenge there while I wait till some new bug fixes or something comes out cause I wanna play my damn game! >.< FNV is kinda like a cake.you eat it,you love it,then you put the left overs in the fridge,open it one day and go HOLY **&% WHAT THE IS THAT? kind of deal with its bugs. Is it worth it? Yes and no. FNV trumps FO3 in a lot of ways. One being the weapons and actualy IS aming. But for some odd reason,so many NPCs in both seemed like they were hollow,I mean I know Vegas is the prime location of blasting yourself into a drunken stupor,but i only saw a measly like 3 drunk people.and On the strip they dont even really behave like drunks.(slight spoiler,but the puking person is always amusing) But until the majority of the bugs(game breaking ones,i dont realy mind the the little ones) really killed FNV for me.For now at least. I think my post seems kinda disorganized but i just woke up with an awful hangover so i think i did good :D

THe only pet peeve Steam has given me(other than the fact that im issing 200$ in games..but i wont go there) is the fact that I CANT ROLL BACK MY GAMES! I wanna be able to roll back to another patch if the new one mucks stuff up more

Well the thing is bben,im running a high end system,and it runs FO3 flawlessly,I can run Dirt 2 maxed out with out any hiccups but FNV just doesnt run. And it seems like its a common problem that Bethseda doesnt really answer to. Id post the dxdiag but i kinda dont wanna eye rape anyone with that info.

I found most of NV to be dissapointing. I love all the new added stuff,but everything else,is poorly done,half assed,or bugged so much that its unplayable.And from what I hear,Dead Money is a waste of both time and money, I guess that NV being rushed out the door really killed it

ok I figured Id give NV the love of a redheaded step child. I figured what the heck ill try it vanilla.i deleted everything associated with FNV(including anything in the reg that was missed) and random files etc. Got it downloaded and installed and I was really happy thinking I could play. So I fire her up,start it the Vanilla way(no FOMM or NVSE) and I cant even make it to the first slide without insta CTD i even turned all mysettings to as low as I can and still nothing. What am I doing wrong here?
