  1. Well that would be the concern... slapping it on there with a wall will probably not be too hard, but what about the quests? I'm guessing the NPC's wont be too screwed up if the new Dawnstar is navmeshed right.
  2. Hey guys, I was just wondering about something I would like to try. Is it possible to make Dawnstar an instanced city like Whiterun without breaking anything? That's basically it..
  3. I verified the integrity, and defragmented it, it is completely random..... yesterday I did not work, now it finally work.... I bet tomorrow it will refuse to save again..
  4. Hello everyone, I have ran into a little problem that basically prevents me from using the creation kit altogether. I can load esps with not problems, I can save before I load anything with no problems. But as soon as I save the mod I'm trying to make (8 combined armor mods using TESVSnip) it just stops working and I get that "this program stopped working" error and have to close it. I tried runing as admin, and making a dummy save before loading the esm and esp, and I do set my mod as the active file with skyrim.esm and update.esm ticket. I changed all the ID's on TESVSnip myself, so there should not be any conflics, but I do have 3 mods that all add a worldspace edit, and to be safe, I did not change the ID's on those. Thank you for reading my problem, hope some one has a solution.

  6. Thanks a lot! I will merge the mods I mentioned above in the near future, and will definitely let you know if it works, if you want that is.
  7. Is there a way to save wrye bash load orders?

No, what I meant is, if I for example use PISE, 3rd era mos mod and 83willows mod, all of them are tagged delev/relev, and all are in the bash patch, then can I untick the actual mod .ESP's themselves, or do they still need to be enabled to be used. And yes, I do use BOSS, but I just installed a few mods, ran boss, and my game doesn't work now, so I will have to figure out whats causing the conflict lol. P.S. I can merge .ESP's with Wrye Bash?
  9. I do actually use Wrye Bash, took me a while to make it work, but I finally made a successful bash patch. (btw, can I disable the delev/relev mods that are included in the bash patch? i was never notified) P.S. In my game, the Throwing knives mod doesn't work properly unless I place it after the patch.. just felt like putting that out there,
  10. Hello everyone who reads this! I use a lot of mods, and for obvious reasons don't want to go over the 255 mods threshold. But! I want to use the very interesting mod called "LoreCraft" (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9959) and all the .ESP's for the mods that I have. (lets say the DoODABoOM & hothtrooper44 sets and Jaysus Swords .ESP's (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/15222, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16892 and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13136 respectively) Question is, if I use TESVSnip and the creation kit to combine the Lorecraft .ESP's, set the Lorecraft .ESM as the master, and on top of that merge all the armour sets (so all of DoODABoOM's armours into one mod, and the same for hothtrooper44 in a second .ESP.) and keey Jaysus Swords untouched. Would the LoreCraft modification still work? For those who dont want ot follow the link: LoreCraft basically makes it harder to craft things because before you can craft something, you have to find a book for it. The book teaches you to craft what ever it is for. On top of that, on the mod page, it says that it does not interfere with the leveled lisits, so there are no compatability mods

  12. Hi there, first off, to the modding community of TES, Amazing work is being done here, and this modding community makes these games what they are, a living breathing form of art. Truly amazing work, and my hat off to every modder involved! Now to my question, I apologize if I'm posting this in the wrong place, I figured this would be the right place to ask though. If that is not the case, please move this thread to where it should be, or let me know and I will start one there, and if my question was already answered, please feel free to simply provide me with the link. Now the issue is, I want to modify my Skyrim experience to the point where it feels like a completely different game. And that will definitely lead to issues that I am not capable of solving myself. I want to use a lot of mods, somewhere in the range of 300-500 different modifications. I did, however, put in a lot of time and effort making sure there are as little compatibility issues as possible. so I did not list mods that change the same things (for example, UFO vs any other amazing mod that changes followers) However, I do have a lot of mods that add an abundance of content, but change the same thing (IE. Monster Mod, PISE, Economics mod to name a few) I am also aware of Wrye Bash and BOSS, and I want to use them to create the BASH patches in order to make them run, however, Ive been having difficulties with that. So here is my issue, in order to see if I can use the said programs, I installed the mods with NMM (amazing tool btw), and tried to use Wrye Bash (another amazing tool) to merge them together, but no matter how I tried, it simply did not work. I tried using BOSS (yet another amazing tool) to no avail. I will not ask anyone to spend hours sorting through my numerous mods, and most of them are standalone, such as Armour mods and such, and some are modular, like the Lorecraft mod, which technically should not conflict with anything. But I am absolutely stumped when it comes to merging leveled lists and mods that add mostly the same things, but slightly different, like the crafting mods that let you craft misc items. And that is where I need help. I tried goggling tutorials, but they were mostly either too complicated and I didn't know what most of the acronyms meant, or simply did not help. I also noticed, that when I use Wrye Bash, there was no button for BOSS, and I had to use BOSS separately, but I never figured out how to transfer the tags to Wrye Bash. Further more, I tried staying away from BAIN files, because I wanted everything to stay same file format, I figured it would be less complicated that way. When I tried running the game, it started up with the Bethesda logo, then showed the Skyrim dragon logo, and immediately CTD'ed with no error. Since I am not capable of fixing that, I deleted everything and the game runs vanilla again just fine. So before starting over, I decided to enlist some help here before failing miserably again. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, and my apologies if this is confusing. But thank you very much for taking the time to read this! P.S.- I am not good with acronyms, so please tell me what they mean if you use any, thank you. P.P.S. - I am hoping on extending this further by adding new locations and quests further down the road, if I manage to make game run with ought them.
  13. Childish is what this is. Unless tytanis is a magician, I cant see a skyrim online mod coming out any time soon.
  14. Hi! Is it possible, and can any one fix the animation when holding a torch while riding a horse so the hand that hold the torch has it raised up instead of holding on to the torch and reigns at the same time? Thanks a lot for your time and consideration.
