  1. I have discovered what was cuasing the flickering, open up the enbseries ini and change EnableVolumetricRays from true to false. It should look like this EnableVolumetricRays=false Once I changed this I haven't seen any more flickering, now pardon me while go back to enjoying skyrim again. lol
  2. So far I have yet to get any offical help, I have tried one other enb and had no problems with it, so that would be my sugestion. Find another enb Gopher has a series of videos on enb's alone so I would try one of the ones he has featured. http://www.youtube.com/user/GophersVids
  3. I am getting some odd screen flickering durring the day time outside, I have spent a couple hours searching for various fixes and nothing has worked so far. I have tried disabling adaptation in the enb as well as enabling waitbusyrender, neither helped. I am using enb 0.244 and realvision 0.244, I also have an Nvidia card using driver version 332.21 which are the latest.
  4. hahaha thank you I couldn't remember what it was for the life of me
  5. I have been looking for an armor mod that I had before I reformatted my computer, I can't seem to find it anymore not sure if it was deleted for any number of reasons or if I just can't seem to find it, but i have an image of the armor I had taken before the reformat. http://tes.nexusmods.com/imageshare/images/2444078-1313966955.jpg
  6. I was looking at mods today and I consider endorsements heavily when I download a mod, but I have noticed that "The file did not fit in to the user's personal tastes or beliefs, etc." negative endorsement doesn't really seem fair, it doesn't provide the author any sort of feedback other then someone doesn't like there mod, in which case that person shouldn't of downloaded it, for people who actually use endorsements as a means of judging a files worth having people post negative endorsements just because it didn't match there personal taste seems like trolling just like starting arguments over religion. so here's my suggestion, you remove the "The file did not fit in to the user's personal tastes or beliefs, etc." option for negative endorsements because it doesn't provide any sort of constructive feedback to the author and its the same as going to the mods comment section and saying "this mod sucks because I don't like it" its just something that I see as an issue with the forums and I'm not sure why it was ever added in the first place. -Dart3145
  7. the defrag fixed the problem, it was just file fragmentation, but thanks for the help ccmechanic2 I've given you kudos.
  8. yeah I'm not really sure what it is but I normally run disk defragmenter once a month but it has been awhile since my last run, I'll try that and if that doesn't work I'll just run a clean install and see if that helps.
  9. I've checked all the files like you've suggested and none of them where corrupted, I have how ever figured out that it only happens when the pipboy radio is on and playing music.
  10. So I've started playing FO3 again after not playing it for about 4 months and for some odd reason dialogue with npcs no longer plays and in its place a very loud high pitched buzzing noise plays, now I've searched the forums and so far I haven't run across anyone else having this problem I haven't installed any new mods recently but I'm thinking it might be an issues with audio codecs, I'm not sure but any one with any insight is a help.
  11. This might also help you, but I have discovered that the FO3Archive Utility opens NV.bsa as well and I find it much easier then using FOMM. Here's a link for the download FO3Archive.
  12. Thank you Floatsup for the help I've been tweaking the alphas for about 3 days now trying to figure it out, so its the alpha's on the normal maps then that I need to tweak.
  13. So I have a mod I've been working on and the part I'm having issues on is for some reason my new textures seem to be more reflective then there vanilla cousins. If I remember correctly the glossiness of an object has to do with the value of the alpha during encoding of the .dds files, basically I would like someone to confirm if I'm correct and if I am right how is the glossiness effected by the value of the alpha. please and thanks lol
  14. I'm currently working on a modified .44 Magnum and I'm having issues wit the textures displaying in game oddly, more specifically having dark color areas and bright chrome areas. I'm not exactly sure what it is, whether its an issues with the modifications I'm making to the textures or if its an issue with the encoding on the new .dds files. here's the vanilla .44 Mag it has the uniform dull gray. here's my retex you can't see the change as its on the grip of the gun, but the dull gray is gone to be replaced by a dark blackish color and the light patches are a reflective chrome color. Basically I just need help identifying where exactly the problem is and how to fix it. I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS5 with the NVIDIA DTX compression plug-in and the NV Geck as well as the FNVEdit.
