  1. So coming back to this game, I wanted to integrate a lovely little mod that added my favorite 70ton mech since my childhood playing MW2 and 3, and lo and behold, I come across THIS I ask of you... What treachery is this?! Who is responsible, and can it be salvaged? I would verymuch like to enter back into the experience with a proper Thor on my list of acquisitions-to-be, and if this misunderstanding can be rectified by a valiant soul that has the mod in question, I would verymuch like to acquire it Pending that, I ask again-why is this mod removed...?
  2. When idle long enough, party members look around/collect lootables and crafting materials/sit down/take lookout positions.(I doubt Sera would stand like a soldier at attention behind you for 7 minutes straight while you finish your spaghetti in real life) We are better tahn monty python witches, a tiny little lake doesn't make us sink like a boulder. Let us swim through inland waters! Is it just me or is there no more meter that tells you what your affection level is with your teammates like the last 2 games? Not saying it's essential, just odd that it's suddenly gone. Different icons than the exclamation on the top of the wartable for resource gathering missions as opposed to companion missions/upgrade missions/story missions, that kinda thing Better looking lore/notes window, rather than the base red bordered black window, have actual parchment for immersion sake?
  3. I've been doing a Qunari for a good while, using a worldstate I produced over a few playthroughs, thing is... I made a number of mistakes with the choices it had in the keep. I had been screwing over the dalish pretty badly in my previous games, and not owning up to that, while I prefer having them around, feels absolutely cheap, my biggest peeve with the Keep system as opposed to progressive savegame imports. I'd like to face the consequences of my actions properly, and I've already put in a great deal of time into my game. I have a savegame before approaching the dalish here, and I haven't been playing since I first saw them. Any help would be appreciated
  4. I missed this feature right out of DA:O when I was in DA:2, though I guess they would really like us to focus on a combat style. Not like we're Arcane Warriors from the first game switching between greatsword/mage staff. I'd be all for this being returned though
  5. Indeed. I've gotten to a point in the game where I have a multitude of abilities, yet i have to choose between... 8 of them? Seriously? I guess we now know why superman forgets his icebreath all the friggin' time, he can't fit it on his hotkey bar! I couldn't even go into tactical and switch it out when I needed my dispel, I had to put dispel on the bar (REPLACING another ability) AFTER the fight it would have been useful for.
  6. He's talking about the inquisition points-as in extending your inventory, the de-seating horseback perk, better sales/purchases at shops, etc, etc. We have yet to have any respec for that, which is a shame since it's so bloody easy to click the wrong thing when you're first introduced to it.
  7. I usually set a bar to 1 through 0, and Ctrl+1 through Ctrl+0 (although it's impractical to put things at ctrl+0 since it's hardly a reflex slot) If we could get something to accomodate a more customizable UI that'd be fantastic
  8. This may be months, years, decades down the line for all I know, but I am rather curious to the matter; is it possible to set up DragonAge Inquisition as an MMO style game using mods? Skyrim attempted to do something along those lines, multiplayer skyrim, buggiest thing ever, but if they could get as close as they did, I was wondering if it would be feasible to set up Dragon Age a neverwinter nights style of multiplayer, with or without the dungeonmaster (though it would be useful for an "Admin" mode dungeonmaster kinda deal) DA:I has a fantastic setting for people to explore, level up, or interact with in general if even the maps were taken while empty for a playerbase and a master to spawn things in. So, I gotta ask... Is this possible?
  9. Yes, please have the horse be faster! Going into sprint mode on the horse with those particle wind-marks at its back is very underwhelming when you barely have any distance made as a result. I barely ever feel the need to pull out the mount unless I just want to look at the pretty pony
  10. I can't help but think this would badly risk making the player fall through the worldmap and end up dropping into that awful eternal abyss... Sounds like a risky kinda magic to me
  11. So, back in Oblivion there was a mod "NPCs will miss" that, didn't just make archers miss 100% of the time, it based their accuracy on certain factors rather than having infallible accuracy that will never miss. The mod is here I've been waiting with high hopes for this to find it's way into Skyrim ever since it came out, thinking I could patiently wait, it's been a number of... years.. now.... no fallible archer mods so far.. I'd really appreciate this mod being graduated into skyrim not specifically to make it easy but rather to stop breaking me out of immersion because every smalltime thug has the accuracy of Legolas!
  12. (Le Resurrection) We all know what a normal bard sounds like, but I have a certain quality in mind for what a Dragonborn with a voice of Power would sound Like so http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4z9TdDCWN7g&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNDT7EInclo&feature=related She hasn't done much more than that, and I can't find a man with the same quality on a proper instrument. As for her, I doubt she'll stop with those two, but it'd be a shame if she did. I suppose the player can do without Ragnar the Red though. The song should draw an audience when the player begins performing, heck, maybe it can captivate a hostile assault to stand there and listen.
  13. There should be a Hire the Dark Brotherhood mod where you can send them after essential NPCs
  14. Jarl. Absolutely the Jarl. I've seen it requested around the forums, and I agree, it would be a great addition
  15. pretty sure he's requesting SKYRIM because he SKYRIM wants SKYRIM t-SKYRIM-o pl-SKYRIM-ay sk-SKYRIM-yrim..
  16. you forgot to include feather torture, tickling them until they pass out. Sorry for seemingly ressurecting a day old thread (Le gasp!) but I don't check these forums nearly often enough. When thinking of turning in bounties, I'm thinking of one guy intimidating enough (yes, a reason for the intimidation perk at last!) herding a group of bandits or forsworn to the nearest town, maybe players can use handcuffs for a change, it sucks being handcuffed without being able to do it back. The reactions should be based on race and type. Here's just my opinion, if you guys have better ideas about what they would do then don't bludgeon my head in, I like it intact. Reactions Cowardly: When seeing a powerful enemy, or their health is low, will immediately flee the scene for their lives. If they don't see an opportunity to escape, may simply cower and surrender.Sneak: Feigning surrender to a very powerful enemy or when low on health only to attempt to stab them in the back when weapons are sheathed or back is turned.Honorable: Will honor a fight with a powerful enemy, or seek to offer themselves to the said opponent out of great respect. May surrender intelligently seeing little point in trying.Zealot/Brute: Too devoted to back down, or simply too dumb. They will never be willing to let themselves catch a break if ever possible.Races Human: Rather varied, but many would prefer not to die to an obviously more powerful enemy. Nords may be more proud than the othersOrc: Honored to fight a more powerful foe, sometimes more eager to die at a worthy blade, but may want to follow them to earn a portion of the glory themselvesElf: Less than eager to die, I imagine many of them would flee or surrender in the end, they tend to be less eager to end their long livesKhajit: Sneaky, cowardly on a whole. Surrender, run away, or wait until your back is turned or your weapons are sheathed to attack again.Argonian: Potentially sneaking, but capable of honor. More likely than elves or Khajit to face an honorable end or a worthy enemy.Types Bandits: Cowards, Sneaks, Brutes. They'll try to overpower in numbers, stab in the back, or run away from a terrifying enemy. It's about the profit, and if their lives end in a fight, it's not worth it. WORTH BOUNTYForsworn: Zealots, Sneaks, they are not afraid to die and will do all the damage they possibly can to the last breath they take. Surrender is rare. WORTH BOUNTYCivilians: Fearful, very likely to run away. When I am caught pickpocketing, it's a little unrealistic when the torn-ragged beggar pulls an iron dagger on an imposing daedric-clad monster like myself, and those that don't have battle training would really just run.Guards: Brave in numbers, morale goes down when you wear high level items such as ebony or tougher armor, or daedric artifacts. Will be more likely to fight to the death, will -not- offer to join you.Necromancers, rogue mages: Proud until nearly dead, their cowardice would be expressed very fully when at low health, offering to join would be out of fear for their lives, potentially sneaky, trying to use their "awesome power" to bring you down when you turn your back on them. Will likely just try to run away.Undead/Constructs: Will beg for mercy at every fi-just kidding, they don't count, they just don't stop attacking no matter what.Pretty sure I missed a group. Meh, whatever, you get the idea. As I have said (I should have said, I better have) earlier in the thread, there's a very extensive list of possibilities that can be expressed through here. Since I suck so badly with coding, I can't say which is possible or not, but I really do think this is a good addition to consider for skyrim.
  17. Guards? Since when were they brave? They're always going "Oh god, I need to pull my skirt up in case dragons come swooping down! oh noes!" the only time they're brave is when they're against the lone hero after he picks up a broom by accident trying to talk to someone. You better pay the 25 gold fine for picking up that broom, or else the entire town guard will charge in and murder you! ...to summarize, guards should run too. They're cowardly bullies.
  18. I'm Chuck Norris' agent, and I approve of this mod idea. Anyway, perhaps if you want to include soul gems into the idea, make Azura's star able to channel it easier somehow? Just an idea, the star should have a bit more significance I think.
  19. Whip Sword ...Seriously, Whips, a whip sword, it's a cool kinda weapon. Indiana jones had a whip! Give us the next stage of it!
  20. They wouldn't be able to fit indoors, but I love the idea, maybe give them a special item of some sort? A large wheel of cheese, they feel obligated to follow you for a while? Maybe if you drop enough gifts on the ground around their camp, they'll recognize you and actually allow you in for safety. I don't know if they would care much for gold coins, but food? They're giants, they wouldn't be able to get ENOUGH to eat. Approved for further speculation!
  21. Evil Fus'Ro'Dah ...Well it is.. I am sure you'll agree with me. Honestly, I don't know where to find a decent quality "fus ro dah" other than what's in the game. I'm a vocalist, but I'm not comfortable putting my voice through that kind of strain. What you're looking for is a metal vocalist with a decent mic. Not impossible to find, but good luck
  22. Are you suggesting the wife learns a profession? Le Gaspe! Vous etes super intelligent!
  23. Using the artifact ebony armor, I just walked through a group of bandits and they died before they even got a swing at me. Walked! No stabbing! They went "Mercy, mercy!" and the ones that didn't actually die just got up and charged me again. Artifacts should make people more likely to run, especially lower level people. Seriously. Mehrune's dagger isn't a toothpick, that thing's infamous! Let it be feared! Non magical fear, let us use you!
  24. I say 8 rings (the power of each finger is only so extensively worn out, poor fingers.) Thumbs don't count, they're fat and rings don't like them. You should be able to (if you're lucky) instead of dying, fall unconscious when you lose all your HP, then depending where you are, you'll get eaten by wildlife, wake up in jail, or a cell in the fort you were raiding. Eating Garlic should make lesser vampires not want to be near you! Placing garlic in their pockets should make them choke like they're poisoned (muahaha!) Pointy Wizard Hats! NPCs should RUN from dragons. Every time a dragon appears with the bandits I'm raiding, the bandits turn around and say "Hurr durr, can't wait to count out yer coins!" then get burned into crispy critters. Non-cowardly idiots. Full Stomach mod to make it so that eating a full meal raises stamina cap for a while! So my question is, do any of those sound appealing to you?
