  1. I've got that problem too. I disabled my firewall (Windows Defender). I went through the Nexus "Lost Password" procedure, in case that was the problem. SOLUTION: Manually update NMM to version 0.65.2. Do not remove old NMM, just install over it.
  2. F4SE will CTD for me, even after I deactivated ALL my 72 mods in Nexus. The default launcher works fine, even with all mods activated. I uninstalled all F4SE components and reinstalled latest version 0.6.1; no joy.
  3. F4SE still CTD for me. I don't even get to the tv countdown screen. I deactivated all my mods in Nexus; it still crashes immediately. The default FO4 launcher works perfectly even with all 72 mods active in Nexus. I'm using the latest F4SE vers 0.6.1. I also manually removed all F4SE components and reinstalled F4SE; no joy.
  4. My problem is with NMM application, not Fallout 4. Specifically, the Plugins tab shows plugins that I have deleted; that is, they are no longer listed on the Mods tab. How do I rid myself of those non-existent plugins? I've tried reinstalling the mod(s) and removing them again in the Mods tab. Alas, no joy. Is there a text file that NMM maintains that lists all the files in the Plugins tab? If so, where is it so that I can removing the offending entries? LOOT does not show these deleted mods, so this is an NMM issue. thanks
  5. I like the new design. Very clean and helpful. Easy to navigate.
  6. I appreciate the feedback. Given the above, I'll stick with Nexus.
  7. I've played FONV and Skyrim for a couple thousand hours. I've always added mods to both via Nexus. Last week, I bought FO4 on sale for $13. It's then I discovered that I can add mods via Bethesda.net. Of course, I'd like to add mods to FO4. So, my question: if the same mod is available on Nexus and Bethesda.net, is there an advantage to using one or the other? Do having mods from both sources effect load order (always a major consideration for Bethesda games)? Thank you for your help.
  8. bben46, thanks for your response in post #2. I had the same question as OP. I've played Skyrim recently for over 550 hours; I've used NMM for all my modding needs. I also wondered whether to use FOMM or NMM for F:NV. Skyrim also has the equivalent of FOMM, which I've never used. I've played F:NV for less than an hour a couple years ago, and have now decided to give it a serious go (kinda burned-out on Skyrim). So, I also had the "which mods should I use?" question. I've been looking through NMM's Top Files section to see which were the most heavily downloaded; I assume if a mod has 100,000+ downloads, I really, really should look at it. Of course, I'm using the F:NV version of Skyrim's SKSE, MCM, and TES5Edit. I've converted my Skyrim NMM setup to the new NMM 0.60 version, so using v 0.60 for F:NV should do well for me. Sidebar: F:NV no longer works for me, so I'll probably need to remove/re-install my Steam version. Sidebar #2: Love your comment "Sometimes I think we spend more time getting mods to work than we do playing the game - I know I do." I'm a modder for Kerbal Space Program. There are months when I don't play the game, because I'm neck-deep in modding.
