  1. This would make a lot of sense...considering the "Booted" quest with you rescuing a bunch of Powder Gangers had just happened during my first playthrough I expected something like that to pop up as soon as I listened to the message.
  2. Hmm well as close as already exists to this is the lightsaber mods (well there are laser blade swords and katanas as well), but this would be an awesome idea for an item for the Dead Money or OWB expansion threads.

I really think that having it be a special "Pre-Grand Opening" kind of event with lots of people brought in to see an exhibition/carefully guided tour (through just the fully finished portions of course) would be the best way to do it gives a good background of tribals that were a mix of workers (completing the final touches and those that were just park workers for the already completed portions) and visitors for the event (though often all the attractions of a Amusement park aren't complete when it does do a Grand Opening...so that would work just as well I suppose).

As for your wanting a more inclusive helmet for the combat armor type: The helmet from the Ranger armor (like the sniper in the opening movie)/ riot gear from LR(same armor different paintjob) would be perfect I think, even has the gasmask/rebreather bit attached already. I really like that idea for the shield...keep it to light armor even if it is airtight, that way it extends the usefulness of some of the early pressure suits and makes for a strategic balance; do you want to run in clad in power armor, guns blazing, or do you want to stealth the levels using light armor and the shield (which can stop a few hits before resetting but not enough for guns blazing). Makes for a more varied possible playstyles, which is always a plus.

Yeah Dala seemed to be having her fun among many but didn't think any of the others of the Think Tank were among them (other than possibly a very unsuccessful affair with Dr O) but it is obvious she had at least one lover from her bedrooms clothing selection (I'd guess several myself *chuckles*).
  9. As to how Robert would get to Camp Golf I have an idea: His home outside Vegas had a hidden bunker underneath it with a secret tunnel linking it with his home away from home the Lucky 38. Designed for quick/emergency escape from either place should the need arise (he had a number of enemies, both business and some government people, along with personal enemies in people he had destroyed personally/financially to expand his business empire), his securitrons are programmed to bring him to the other location should something happen to him in one of them, his medical equipment (top of the line autodoc and emergency systems) at the bunker finding his body (if you choose to kill him) beyond repair, they remove his brain and place it into a biogel tank with proper connections to allow him to communicate with the outside world (a final solution he had designed ahead of time with no desire whatsoever to use if there was another choice), much like the brain in a jar guy in Point Lookout. (stolen plans from the facility that that took place in being how he had access to the tech, a spies report with a download of the specs on a holotape would work nicely) As to Anthony, even before reading the ghoul suggestion that was what I was going to suggest (anyone that went into H&H must remember the heavy rads you could pick up in the main chamber of the plant), and him playing the infosource to the player seeking to stop his brother makes for a perfect way to add him, as well as a perfect revenge from Anthony's point of view; his journal reveals that whether it's true or not he blames his brother for the disasters that plagued H&H before the war, and since Robert was buying up so many companies and purposely setting himself up as a competitor to the business, not a bad assumption. Being too cowardly (or smart looking at it objectively, one ghoul against all those robots) to attack Robert directly he has been secretly monitoring him for years, and waiting for the chance to find a way to strike back at him. All the while growing more and more crazy and paranoid, as all the movers and shakers outside his hidden home (a bunker beneath H&H tools filled with food and entertainment) have come under his brothers sway. Along comes the defiant Courier and gives him the hope of finally bringing this rivalry to and end.

Her much more human side is what made me think of that idea, and the get her a body idea I offered as well, basically an either or for what I could definitely see in her the motherly side and the very obvious sensualist side. What you learn of thier personalities from interacting with them and from the few scattered notes mentioning them in various places (or Dala's oh so very interesting home) just cries out for more exploration lol, though one thing I had forget with the others that the recent playthrough I did brought to mind...It seems Doctor Klein and 8 both were living with someone else in thier homes...the indication with 8 is a roomate type thing(seperate beds)..but where is/who was this person? Klein however had a double bed and female clothing...seems as if he had a wife/girlfriend! (wife being more likely, but only because of the 50's style of the culture, they wouldn't have allowed an unmarried couple to live in the same house at a government facility)

Really liking the idea of the more fragile suits (much like how fragile the radiation suits themselves are, one good smack and you are wearing something with 1% of it's health left lol) until you get the better ones. Of course if we are looking for some variety in models to use for them..all I can suggest is talk with the guy on Beyond Boulder Dome about the Dome suits model lol that would fit rather well I think.vOf course we have at least 3 models just from what we are talking about grabbing from the base game: Rad/Science suit, Modded T51, Space suits like those in Repconn (which would be perfect "middle of the road" suits, built in rebreather but not all that durable) in fact I'd love to see a recolored spacesuit in Vault Tec colors lol (perhaps a special model with better protection and slight stat increases..something like the stealthsuit from OWB, midpoint between it's normal form and power armor as it was midway between the assassin suit and power armor).

Also the vacuum data really makes no sense...as you will suffer from some really nasty side effects going from 2 atmospheres of pressure to 1, why wouldn't 1 atmosphere to 0 pressure be jest as bad if not worse? Though Mar's isn't that extreme as total vacuum but still, it should be bad. Not that I'm doubting you...it's a question I've asked myself and others many times, I know that having a decompression chamber suddenly drop from 3 atmos to 1 does (often) kill outright, and 2atmos to 1 will cause some serious medical problems (along with sometimes losing your eyes, or at least your sight) .

  17. I think that is a much more elegant solution, more like the ability to sleep only in true interiors in DM than the cloud. I think the O2 idea fits nicely, gives the inherently deadliness of the environment early and obvious impact. Definitely think rebreathers and the better suits having them built in is great for later too.

  19. There was also a perk pack that let you take a perk that let you blow up peoples heads with dialog "Superior Mind" if your intelligence was higher and you used the dialog choice their head blew up, if their's was higher your head got crippled.
  20. Well there is the unique remote detonation grenade launcher in the power station you clean out for them ....but yeah a bit more stuff and content for the Boomers would be good.
  21. How do you get Beyond Boulder Dome to work? When I install it, I can't start the game, it gets to the main menu and just shows the ranger with the gun, no menu comes up. It looks like a FANTASTIC mod, I really want to play it. I don't suppose there's any chance anyone could do a no-replacer version? I really just don't know how to use GECK, I probably don't even have it installed. Though if I did/could, would it be possible to combine mods with it? I think one of the gameplay issues I've run into is caused by loading too many esm files at once, after doing a bit of searching. Make sure you have all it's requirements, I know that may seem obvious but sometimes you forget to activate something you need. I only found a couple of conflict despite all the mods I run, most notably that I was unable to complete the mission to save Good springs from the Powder Gangers...it's been month's of gamedays and they are all still saying that there are more out there.
