  1. Hi all, sorry to bother. I have newly installed skse for Skyrim, according to Gopher's Youtube tutorial. My problem is, I cannot launch the .exe ;( I recieve the error message: 'This App Cant Run On PC.' I am on Windows 8.1, Would the workshop SKSE be a viable alternative? Thanks In Advance, Azterix  Load Order:
  2. Were there any issues during the upgrade? Nope. What new features did you enjoy? Cortana was fun(mostly because of the Halo reference,) but got annoying quick. What platform did you install Windows 10 on? (desktop, laptop, tablet, etc) bit.ly/azterixrig How is the driver support? My GPU drivers, Headphone Drivers and Razer Synapse all updated. No problems there for me. Will probably take a while for the rest of my drivers to upgrade. How is the security? Ran a .bat virus and keylogger(hidden behind a .zip,) .bat got the usual warning(sure ya wanna do this bro?,) while the keylogger went unnoticed but didn't register(my fault.) How is the privacy? Not Tested. How is directx12? (3D applications that actually support it) I got Cinebench, 3D-Mark, UE4 Five Demos-- all were worse rates than my Windows 7(Main) drive, Same(give or take 2-3 fps,) as my Windows 8(Testing,) drive. Altogether fine. How is windowed gaming? Fine. Counterstrike, Skyrim, FNV all ran at similar rates to Windows 8(lower than fullscreen.) What games have you tried and how well do they perform? STested Skyrim, CS:GO, FNV. All ran at similar rates, though i feel like load times were longer and there was more stuttering-? How well does Cortana perform as a digital assistant? Never using it again, just for uselessness  How is the new Edge browser? Better than Internet Explorer, however Chrome is still preferred(faster.) How well does Windows 10 manage heavy CPU and RAM usage in comparison to Windows 7/8? I enjoy the new preference's customizability, however still prefer Windows 7's simplicity. Is Windows 10 worth it, for a pc gamer? Nope. Went back to my main SSD(Windows 7,) and never looked back  . Got any benchmarks? Post them below.

Haha, same here! My younger sister loves playing Skyrim and I have just introduced her to modding. I think I've been a positive influence in turning her over to the geek side. ;) @Elianora, you're one of my favorite modders btw, keep up the awesome work!

  5. IMHO, ESO just isn't worth the hefty price tag... I signed up for it during it's first release and was unfortunately dissapointed ;( It follows alot of mmorpgs and is fun ti play, but doesn't have the feel of an Elder Scrolls game. I had a fun time playing it with my two friends, and it was obviously an enjoyable experience- im not gonna lie. But it doesn't live up to the likes of Skyrim and Oblivioooohn. I'd say if you do like mmorpgs, and have that kinda $$$ you can buy it. Make sure you have friends to play with, it makes things 10x funner-- just make sure you join the same pact xD The email problem can be solved eaasily- open a new gmail account ;) Thats just my 1.25 cents but uhh, hope it was helpful ;)
  6. Thanks for wanting to improve the site =D It definitely needs a facelift. Please keep functionality at the top and don't remake it into an IOS 7 situation;) Thanks in advance.
  7. Hmm, well maybe it would help to try and make sure your headphones are working-- try using them with another device(iPod, Computer, iPad etc.) If they are able to function on these devices, then It's your software. Either attempt to reinstall your audio drivers or try it on a clean boot of Windows OS. ( http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135 ) You may want to try the Razer Surround tool(I use it,) it will both enhance your gaming experience and allow you to select a device input. The most common name for you Headphones are either, well, "Headphone" or your make and model. If the problem persists, you can also try method 2: To select the default audio device, refer these steps. Select the headset as the default. a) Right click on the sound icon in the Notification Area and select 'Playback devices'. b) A new window, called Sound, will open. In this window you will usually see the sound devices for playback, which are currently present in Windows 7. c) Select the device you want to set as default and click on the Set Default button. When you are done click on OK to save the current configuration. d) To select which device should be the default for communication and which device should do the rest of the work, click on the small arrow located on the Set Default button. e) If clicked, the arrow will show you the two options. Select the device for communication, then click on Set Default - Default Communication Device. f) Select the device for all other types of playback and click on Set Default - Default Device g) If you want the Default Communication Device and the Default Device to be set on the same sound device just click on the Set Default button instead Good Luck and Hang Tight! Remember to take a step back, take a deep breath and look at it from a fresh perspective. Ask people for advice ;) I remain, Azterix
  8. Dear Nexus, My names Azterix and Ive just joined the Nexus Mods site for the first time. I love graphic design, 3-D modelling, texturing and animation! My favorite games of all time are all things PC(except for Legend of Zelda =P,) RPG(Skyrim, Indie Games) and Competitive(DotA 2, CS:S/GO.) Im no stranger to PC modding and am looking forward to what paths this site will take me on; the adventures, trials and errors that await. I am mainly here to mod my Skyrim and Fallout series games(as Im sure 80% of you are here to do,) so here come I! I hope to have fun and improve my gameplay, as well as give back to the community thanks a lot for listening to my little introduction, and cya on the boards! I remain, Azterix
  9. I would recommend you get either W.A.T.E.R., Realistic Water 2, or Pure Waters, 2K textures, aMidianBorn Book of Silence, SMIM, Realistic Smoke & Embers, Verdant or Grass on Steroids, Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Project Optimization, FXAA Injector, Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Climates of Tamriel and an ENB of your choice. If you like, you may add city modification mods( JK series, Dawn of etc.) Some small Tweaks(Unique Uniques, etc.) Besides that, (graphic-wise,) you should be all good to go! Good Luck and Happy Modding! I remain, Azterix :ninja:
  10. What FPS do you currently average on Skyrim? I'd say you could hardly run the vanilla game  . You can use mods like Project Optimization and StableUGrids to load, in conjunction with Imaginator(or: I Can't Believe it's not ENB!,) Realistic Lighting(best not to install Natural Rain with it,) Flora Overhaul low-res and Lush Trees/Grass. Try a few of these out and see if they break your system  . http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13049/? - Imaginator http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63839/? - ICBIN- ENB! http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3288 - Lush Grass http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3385 - Lush Trees http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=141- Flora Overhaul(get the low-res version) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=7654 - Realistic Lighting(try it withour Natural Rain) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41592/? - uGrids http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32505/? - Optmization(better FPS) Hope some of these work! Remember to use the NMM and you should probably get the Unofficial Patches  http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19/? Have fun, and happy modding! :ninja:
