  1. It seems like the game engine has mind of its own, short of AI overhaul!
  2. Here is another one happened on a recent play-through, have Imperial race and never change mid-play and in my greater powers I've found the 2 usual suspects: 1) Imperial luck, which acts as passive effect by finding more gold. 2) Voice of the emperor, which calms nearby NPCs. So far so good, the surprise was to find something along these line: Call your ancient ancestor to fight alongside you until is defeated...! So I've used it and it worked, a male with glass armor and frostbite spell, over-layered in spectral form (ghost like)., e kept following me everywhere without being able to initiate dialogue and dismiss it, eventually died (I guess) and never seen it again, neither the option was available anymore within my "powers" tab of the magic menu. Was that because of a mod I'm not aware of, I could never tell! Another less mysterious incident was when I was wearing Nightingale armor set from a mod and not because I've completed the relevant quest. An Argonian approached me as I was free roaming Skyrim and said something like this: "I've been lucky and made a lot of gold, so here is something for your help on the thieves guild" - 500 gold received.
  3. Another strange incident which has happened to me several times was the "flying-floating horse" phenomenon, mounting and right after opening the map made me drift away rapidly due to some asynchronous FPS with the physics mechanism of the game. Aftermath is not to tweak the FPS because no matter how well developed rig you might have, the game engine is set with specific limitations/ functionality.
  4. Indeed hilarious!:-D However, yours in contrast with mine was due to technical cause, how do you explain mine??! What could cause this in my absence? A dragon? I believe that all incidents are revolving around the player, so HOW could something happen when the player is NOT involved in any way?? In real world those incidents would occur with and without the player, for example a NPC could die by random dragon attack while the PC is far away and not aware of the situation, BUT such is the REALITY, NOT Skyrim. So I'm genuinely puzzled about HOW 1/3 BEEHIVE HUSKS BEING BURNED! Talking about weird animal incidents, once a rabbit fall from the sky, of course the fall killed the poor rabbit, I suspect this was because of some technical cause, like rendering the rabbit out of place due to some kind of delayed environmental relocation...
  5. I was free roaming around Skyim and got the message on the top right corner of my screen: "1/3 beehive husks burned". I've never bothered with thieves guild quest "loud and clear", not even activated t in my journal, I was far away, completely unrelated location...! So this incident was the only time I got such message throughout the entire life time of the game, no reasonable explanation fits, but if you think you have one then please be my guest! You might post your weird experiences with Skyrim as well, in the end it's all about fun, so let's laugh in the face of reason! :-D
  6. Very well said, such inconsistencies are degrading the experience, I for once, would be very interested to see these changes! Unfortunately I don't have the required knowledge to help you. By the way, there are not only those inconsistencies you've mentioned, which mostly are visual when we are talking about outfit, but also logical inconsistencies and please let me explain what I mean. The vigilants of Stendar are fighting Daedra and vampire which, apparently makes them "good guys" and nobody would argue that Daedra and vampires are evil. Yet we see the silver hand not to be considered in the same way as the vigilants of Stendar, why? Because the werewolves are less harmful than Daedra and vampires? Or is it because in contrast with Daedra and vampires, werewolves may take human form? I've never understood, neither like, the mixing of companions and werewolves, those characters should be hunted down executed like the rest of the beasts! The only sensible NPC at Jovarsk is Kodlak who recognizes and admits that this is a curse, a disease but he have not found a way to cure the "circle" of the companions, there a foul logic around companions and werewolves, however there is not about everyone at Jovarsk, but only about the "circle" members. I really hate them walking around normally instead of killing them, even the giants (who they kill also) are not agressive in the sense that they wouldn't initiate an attack if they didn't be threated. I hate that the Bethesda developers made them as heroes or something and grant them essential status, what were they thinking?! However, I could set them to non essential and kill them one by one as hunted animals they are. There are only 2 other NPCs who have essential status but they really should be killed, Maven and Maul at Riften, even if I sympathise with imperials more than the stormcloacks, I certainly prefer to have Laila law giver with stormcloacks rather than Maven black briar with imperials! On Oblivion there were the "blades" and in my consideration there is not even comparison with the "companions"...about the thieves guild the whole thing is just a joke, they treat you as the errant boy and when you are done with good loot you have to share it with them! Why not to keep it for yourself, do you need those rats who live at the gutter to tell you what to do and pimp you up constantly?! They shouldn't be even considered as a guild but just common criminals, companions (circle) should be considered as beasts and the real enemy to get rid off!
  7. Yes, it'd be kind of massive, but great results start from trivial events! I agree that another mountain could be used. It could add also a couple of armor/weapon sets, golden dwarv armor & weapon set, much improved in regards with original dwarven armor and weapons, gold ingots instead of dwarven would be used, the design/texture should also be different. After defeating Ballrog the armor and weapons will be blessed by the eternal flames (100% fireproof, 100% additional fire damage on top of the base damage). There could be a survival mode in which you have to deal with endless hordes of trolls and goblins while striving to make your way towards Ballrog, but all those enemies are not the only obstacle, inside the crystal mountain (high hrothgar) evil takes its form as the time passes by, becomes stronger by the hour till it cannot be stopped. That would have devastating consequences to the world because Ballrog is the real herald of doom, not Alduin! So not only the PC has to survive but to do it in timely manner before the mountain erupts and brings eternal chaos and darkness to the world!
  8. Hello everybody, I'd like to share with you an idea I had about a new project for Skyrim SE. Its name is: "Moria, the kingdom of dwarves". Apparently will introduce a new race, the dwarven race, dwarves are experts in smithing, crafting in general, in mele combat, especially with axes and hammers. This new land could be entered by a cave at the "foot" of the "High Hrothgar", the highest mountain in Skyrim. As high as is the mountain such are the depths inside it, which lava flows endlessly through, very rich in minerals and gems of all kinds. The vast treasures lure countless adventurers to their inevitable death, dwarves hate orcs and elves and are indifferent about the rest human races. So don't expect assistance from dwarves in your Moria endeavors, neither would stand in your way, you are on your own and while you delve deeper the world around you becomes darker...! The ancient evil lives within the heart of the mountain, Ballrog the tremendous demon of the times before men! The evil power which never sleeps awaits to take its full form before erupts the whole mountain, from the ground up, in endless streams of lava. No one is aware as they are occupied with civil war and dragons, but the greater evil has to be dealt with sooner or later, with one way or another...! Now the exterior of the mountain has attract pilgrims from the four corners of the world, these are 4 potential followers, the higher you climb on the mountain the higher is the level of the follower you can hire. The first pilgrim/companion meditates near Ivarstead, on the very beginning of the 7,000 steps, while the fourth resides with Paarthunax, leader of Grey Beards, he is a mysterious figure, looks like a monk but possesses the abilities of a samurai warrior and ninja assassin. Except Ballrog there are goblins and trolls roaming the whirlwind tunnels of Moria, the path to wisdom is a perilous one, but it doesn't have to be lonely. The incredibly powerful demon possesses 2 weapons, a trident and a whip, through trident flaming tongues surround those who dare too much, the whip has a chance to form a grip on every hit, grab and smash enemies to the ground for extra damage on top of the basic. Trolls of Moria look different from those which venture on the landscapes of Skyrim, they are bigger, tougher but slower in reactions. Goblins are like dwarves in size and arguably uglier than hargravens, they are one hell of a sneaky creatures, their depravity and cunningness in traps and deception is one of a kind! This was the preface in order to give you a brief introduction of what I've in mind, I'd like to know what it would take to make it happen. I'd like to listen to your suggestions, recommendations, opinions, everyone is welcome to participate!
  9. On top of everything else my Imperial male grew a tail, what kind of race is this?! I call it: "Impericus Transmutus"!!!
  10. I've forgot to mention that by renaming or removing the: data/meshes/auxbones/tail folder have resulted in no tails at all!!
  11. No. That's not a solution, instead you should follow this guide of how to clean the master files. And Arthmoor is correct, that issue you got has nothing to do when cleaning Dawnguard.esm. I've followed the cleaning guide to the letter but still CTD at Falkreath EXTERIORS ONLY, I've succesfully COC my PC inside the local tavern but getting out caused CTD. I've tried moving to Falkreath from Riverwood by foot and a bit after the Lakeview manor (not built yet) crashed to desktop. I've received letter from Jarl calling me to go meet him at Falkreath but there is not ANY way to arrive there! The ONLY MUTUAL MODS with others who have experienced the same issue is Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patches, therefore whether it is this mod or the master files must NOT been cleaned! A lot of people say about mod "wet and cold" but I've never download/use it, thus we can discard it from the suspects list!
  12. Hello everybody, I'm hoping to receive some insightful tips for my technical issues. So I have actually 2 problems as it seems, but they could be originated by the same source. I'm going to start from the beginning, I've installed some creature related mods, including but not limited to: FNIS Creatures, the other 4 creature related mods were adult and I'm not sure if it's proper to reveal them here, on this forum / topic. If it's ok then I've no problem to tell you which other mods. After removing them completely I have used FNIS Remnant tool, followed its instructions to the letter. Then I start a new game from Helgen, not long after I've discovered that certain animals are not animated, not moving at all, while other animals are being rendered normally! For example wolves and horses were moving but elks and rabbits were not!:-D !LOL! At this point I've decided to re-install FNIS Creatures in hope that it would resolve the issue, but what has been fixed has been also replaced by another kind of problem...the cart/wagon/chariot on the beginning scene has been derailed by crazy wheels spinning all over the place!:-D !LOL! I've un-install and re-install several times those creatures from Fores New Idles, starting again and again from Helgen, on 1 case I have encountered the accidental death of the female imperial commander when the chariot has overran her, the sequence continue anyway but the male commander was speaking next to nothing!:-) AGAIN LOL!!! Another time the scene starts as usual with Bethesda presents... and before the stormcock starts talking I realized that we are going nowhere because the horses were as status, stoned freezed!!! Eventually I've achieved to make my way through Helgen but later realized that every tale of lizards and cats around Skyrim was immobilized, but ONLY the tales! WHY?! So as you see, there are animal animation related issues, or should I say inanimated ones! (?) How do you survive in such world, WOW!
  13. 1) Open the console 2) Click on your character 3) Type: tc Should say something like: "control transfered on AI", while the perspective has been restored for your PC. 4) Type again tc and press enter, now it should be completely ok. The 2nd time restores the control to your personal character. This has solved my issue, but first I had kill my horse, I'm not sure if it would work if I wouldn't have killed it before the console commands. However, you could resurrect it if you want (open console, click horse, type resurrect 1)
  14. Good idea, actually I've already posted it at LoversLab.com which is the source of this mod. Still waiting...
  15. Hi, recently I've re-installed Skyrim because of severe technical problems regarding my previous installation. I've completely deleted everything from the former installation (including mods),thus I had to download everything again (still downloading). I'm using from time to time a disk and registry cleaner application and during the last time I've used it,accidently deleted a lot of my Skyrim's mods! I do have another software which can restore deleted files, BUT this is good only if I had to restore just a few files, so in my case was futile to search among the myriads of deleted folders and files, besides if I selected all of them, the restoration process would place ALL of the files in ONE folder/location and then I would have to transfer them separately to their proper destination. So I thought that this is not the best possible solution, from the other hand to download everything again would have been such time consuming!! (lot of mods) My main Skyrim (without any mods) could not load because files were missing, it could not even been uninstalled because also was missing file(s) from c\users\me\appdata\local\skyrim! So I thought that the best possible solution is to go back with the windows "time machine",I'm talking about to restore to a previous point and that's what I did. Gladly I found every (?) file in place and I installed Skyrim for 1 more time! This has happened yesterday, everything seemed normal on the beginning but later I got error reports from NMM,LOOT,FNIS and TES5EDIT. Those errors (all of them) were related with one of my mods: Apropos.esp I'm not sure what's going on,I'm not programmer, nor modder, that's why I've uploaded for you a few clues in order to help me if you can. By removing the particular mod (apropos.esp),would it be sufficient to solve my issue or not...?? If, unintentionally missed something which could assist you solve my problem, just ask me! I'd like to thank you in advance for your participation regarding my Skyrim issue.
