  2. ah thanks! btw, would that also work with NPC bodies? (and still be able to move them in a shape?) i know there are containers that look like a dried up imperial and stormcloack (form Meridia's shrine) but i don't know if its possible to make a NPC in a static container too
  3. im having a problem with the mod i am making for skyrim now, i have a draugh (container, not npc) in the air and a blade impaled in it in the blade's reference window i checked the window "don't havoc settle" but when entering the room where i have the draugh the blade is on the floor under the draugh, no mather what it still pops/falls out of the draugh in fact the don't havoc settle does not seem to work for me, even if i hang a blade in the middle of the air or try to put a dead NPC on wall handcuffs they still end up on the ground not in the location where i left them what is happening?!

  5. im having a small problem, im trying to make it look as if a dead NPC is hanging on a gallow, i simply have a rope hanging from the ceiling took a NPC i made, checked the box 'start dead" then hung him with his head in the ceiling (so the gravity puts his body in a hanging position) then i get him out of there, carefully position his neck close to the rope, and check "dont havoc settle", if i select the entire area and set havock on it works perfectly, but ones i get in game and enter the room where he should hang i just see him falling from the rope to the floor, every time no Mather what i do he keeps falling i even tried placing very small bricks around his neck (20 to be exact) and even then he started moving like crazy if the blocks were too close, and fell to the floor when the bricks were too open, (by the way, this is for a Dark Brotherhood themed quest, its supposed to look like a mass murder with a lot of people hanging form ropes to show the dark brotherhood is not to be messed with) but i cant get them to stay hanging in the air, how do i fix this? i could really use some help on this my only alternative's are placing them on shackles to the wall as if they were starved to death, or in a cage (thats all in the vanilla game and i dont want to do something that has been done massive times before in the vanilla game alone)
  6. well damn me and my big mouth, posting here i dont have any problems with the site and one day later i cant download any mod anymore with NMM, well i hope the people here find a way to fix the site soon, ^^ then after that take a deserved rest, i cant imagine how hard it is to run a site, but it cant be easy
  7. hmmm i have not noticed any big glitches, sure 1 person's image is not visible to me and sometimes the download fails but i dont care too much, people on this site do a great job! you wont hear me complaining about one or 2 small glitches here and there, im just happy people made and sustain this site ^^
  8. yup, program is working and now i can save everything in a seperated folder to use for mods, leaving my data folder intact thanks man :thumbsup: +1 kudo for you :biggrin:
  9. lol yeah found them in the sea of files 192 mods XD im way to extreme, thanks i will try out this all, at least now i can make a lot of new projectiles and finaly change a few swords i wanted to make
  10. hmm strange, i will save all my modified files then and delete everything and start a new game course i dont have those files at all, its strange, weird that this strange stuff has to happen to me again :wallbash: it would however explain why my game has been acting funny, crashing occasionally and refuses to start specific mods thanks for all the help, after i reinstall the files will just pop up i guess (if not then my pc is possessed by virus ghosts, lol) i hope it will work tough, i need those meshes to make better mods :tongue: thanks again!
  11. ow thanks, like i said, rooky mistake, hmm, its strange how i seem to be able to find the hardest things but never solve these easy things :confused: do you also recall how the bsa folders are called? (i have over a 100 mods and basicly its hard to find bsa folders now, i could de activate/uninstall all my mods but then i would have to save them all in a seperated folder first course i made a lot of changes to most mods to my personal gameplay) thanks for the help :biggrin: making mods itself is easy, learning how to make them, thats the true hard work :blink:
  12. oke sorry, i looked around on the forum and came up empty handed, same for the ck wiki im green in mods so go easy on me if this is a very stupid mistake after using the ck a few times i now wanted to make a new projectile using the mesh and texture of a dwarven centurion core but the only way i can see to change the look of a projectile is by changing the "art file" when i ask the ck to open it i get a new menu to the place where i installed my game (i installed it in the recommended location/basic location where it goes if you dont choose a location yourself) but i dont have any other meshes and textures/files then the ones i have via mods i have intalled, there are no vanilla meshes so how can i change the looks of my projectile if i dont have the mesh?

AGH do some people also have this that you are cluelless after a long time of looking for a awnser, then ask for a awnster and by clicking on something you notice something new and you solve the problem looking like a fool the rest? thats what just happened :wallbash: i noticed a small "perk owner/spell" tab that you can switch if you click spell inside the "modify comanded actor limit" menu for the moment only the necromancer conjuration based spells are in there, so i need to add fermiliar, and so on to the list too :geek: well if a other noob like me reads this, REMEMBER IT WELL its very handy if you wan to change the limit of summons
  14. so i have been trying to modify the twin soul perk, trying to make it a tri soul perk or 10 soul perk Just before i continiu, i am doing this with "Syynxs Perky - The Major Perk Overhaul by Jjiinx" as my base of the mod (i like the mod but i did not like the conjuration tree) Jiinx made the twin perk so that it only works for undead (reanimated creatures) so when i set the perk to 10, only my reanimated targets came up to 10, while all normal summons still died so i took various screenshots of the origional twin soul perk and re created the perk by giving it back the 3 conditions -Hasperk Perk:"ElementalPotency" 1.00 OR -GetBaseActorValue Conjuration 100.00 AND -HasPerk Perk:'DarkSouls' 1.00 OR and still it only works on reanimated targets only has anybody a idea how to fix this so it works on all summons? course honestly for a noob i think i still got a little further (considering i also atlered the other perks and all spells that were added so they are compatible with other magic mods) but i have no clue how to fix this one, and Jiinx has not awnsered on both the post on his page + the PM i send him (my guess is he stopped for a wile)
  15. well i did not release the fix anyway, even so i think i would never apoligise if i would upload it i mean seriously, if i place in big letters THIS IS NOT MY MOD, JUST A FIX ALL CREDIT DOES TO "name here" FOR MAKING THIS MOD then say what fixes are made, honesly i dont think he should complain when he ever comes back, just tell me hes back, use my fix so i bring my vercion down and he just uploads his fix :/ honestly some people act to melodramatic, if i say i dont steal it and give him all credit, leave alone its only a fix, nobody should complain, even so i decided not to upload course in first instance its in the site rules, and secondly that it has too much incompatibility with other magic mods, maby one day i will make a better version based on this idea, nothing is wrong with that
  16. well its not about how i install it realy, my last pc just told me "error" every time i pushed the download button my new laptop downloads it but "error's" when i push teh button to install, sometimes i get it intalled, but it wont do anything even so i lost interest in "boss" and "wrye bash" i just use NMM and more i dont need, nothing beats the good old manual work! and if mods are not compabible, i will find a way to use the ck to make them compatible (even tough i cant ever share those with the rest of the world, maby one day if i make a lot of mods work together so i get something like FCOM (but witouth the glitches)
  17. lol, but what if the downloaded file is only a esp and read me? basicly if i tell people to download the origional file first then all they will be getting that they did not have up to now is the readme XD o god i wish stuff was a lot more simple then this, like just letting me place it up here and if the original creator shows up after a other year or 2 and sais he does not like it that i just take my mod back down (or he tells me he likes it and lets me keep the mod)
  18. yup i know, downloading the intaller gives me a massage that "i cant" no reason why i cant donwload it it just tells me doing the archive gives me the 2 options, using the nomral one also tells me i "cant use it" or "it crashed" while i use the Gui one i get the options, i tell it to run, it loads 1-2 seconds, then the load bar vanishes, and all i get is a new ini file in the boss folder, but the load order does not change, i get no message about what happened or whatsoever, (this is why i want people to make clear read me's and at least say what programs you need to run stuff like this :/ it even took me 2 months to install wrye bash! only thing i trusted up to now is the nexus mod manager and oblivion mod manger
  19. well at least i think its doing nothing, my load list did not change after i activated it but i do get a INI file with a lot of texts and codings saying "delete X mod course it is already in X mod" stuff like that, but the load order did not change one bit

XP yeah ive been know for being very patient and working detailed XD good and bad both XP well i tried Boss now but i cant even get it installed, my pc resues to download the installer and manual download in a zip folder is no help at all course my pc wont open the readme's and im still trying to find help on the internet via google but the problem is these people just talk ON and ON about useless stuff and just dont get to the point (very frustrating course im dyslectic and reading stuff is a torture on its own) but i guess i will find it soon, probably that i need to put Boss inside the skyrim folder course letting it loos just gives me a error notice and running boss does not work course it gets interupted and just stops :wallbash: this is why i did oblivion manual, if people dont even go true the trouble to place a simple "this is how you do it" and only place useless talk then why would i even rely on a program that would take me weeks to install while i can do it all manually anyway XP i still think its a shame for oblivion tough, i dont think FCOM was ever finished, it has so much glitches, no mather how you intalled it it had countless spots where the game would crash by having the mod alone, if they would have been able to finish that mod i would be playing oblivion instead of skyrim now :biggrin: still a shame i never had morrowind, necromancy and a lot of dead stuff, thats my kind of play style XD
  21. well oke, thanks strange i forgot all that, so busyness in life i cant tell left from right sometimes reason i only use NMM and not boss is course i still have bad experiences with boss in oblivion, i installed it, my game crashed, and i lost all my saves, data and i tought my game was gone for too, after installing and using it again it happened a second time, i just stopped trying course i did not feel like loosing my data over and over, so i just kept testing (about 6 montsh) to find the correct load order by hand, and it worked, but it was troublesome (you cant say that im not determinate XD) but i guess i can give Boss a try in skyrim, new game new chances after all anyway, thanks for the reply's and help, :biggrin: i also noticed your mod when i linked to your name, i only saw title and pictures course i did not have time to read it all yet, but it feels interesting :thumbsup:

XD thanks but thats actualy the basic stuff i learned about in oblivion 2-3 years ago :tongue: problem is i never seen anything like this happen, in oblivion eventualy i "overloaded" my system with too many mods but the game would crash at random locations or even if i stood still for 5 minutes if somebody came close to me and had to load something here in skyrim i had stuff like that too but the CTD i have now is something i have never had before, a crash ALWAYS and i repeat ALWAYS when i cross a specific location, like a invisible trip wire that destroys my game altogether, i am not very sure if skyrim's workings are that different form oblivion and i dont think that these crashes have anything to do with the mods themselfs but more likely a bethesda flaw in the creation kit or the skyrim code itself, first i tought it might have to do something with the crashes only happening when i used a mod that added a new interior, with soul forge and ro"something something" end mod this was sure, however warzone does not add any new interior locations to my knowledge but instead adds a lot of new spawns and characters, thus a lot of new textures and meshes however if i de activate those mods and basicly activate 240 other mods the game will run fine so i was hoping somebody knows something about this situation and how it can be solved more importantly , how its coursed, man i wish there was a program that monitors the game constantly, then when the game crashes you can simply read the last lines the game processed to see what coursed the fatal error :confused:
  23. hi, i have been experiancing specific crashes, they just crash my game to the desktop witouth warning but they are not random they always seem to happen when i walk true spesific parts of skyrim, i have not noted them all, but 2 of the locations that i do know of are when i pas the "Frostflow lighthouse" (everybody inside is dead, falmer dug there way in from the cellar, its located north on the map) and in Mortal, when i fast travle to the village nothing happens but when i cross the bridge on the back of town or even try to come close, the game CTD's i have been testing with esp files from mods and i noticed that it happens to a large variety of mods, for example, "warzones, soul forge, Rayeks End all these mods course the crash when i come there, if i de activate them nothing happens so here is what i have been thinking, strange things happened before too, could this be a problem with the CK making something go wrong? a Bethesda bug if some specific codes are adjusted? or is it possibly these crashes happen by just using too many mods? (what i think would be strange course my pc should be able to handle this, also if i run the game on low graphics it makes no difference and to top it all off, if these crashes are coursed by over loading my game then i weep when the DLC's come out course installing 1 should then technically ctd my game constantly and a second DLC should stop my game from working altogether if the game is really that weak on running) does anybody know why this crash really happens? has anybody had the same problems? does anybody know a fix?
  24. so basicly i am alowed to do the fix if 1 i place back a link to his page 2 i place he is the origional autor (what is only normal) 3, i only upload the esp so you need to download his scripts, textures and meshes if used thanks guys, :thumbsup: i just want to fix this one, i hate broken abandoned mods
  25. how do i disable it? i remember somebody saying a thing like that a wile ago but i could not find anything about this cloud thing all i ever found about that is when i restarted the game that it asked me to upload or download steam cloud files, but it never mattered witch one i chose, both still screwed up my game even further, steam will be good for DLC's so that if you erase your game you dont have to buy a dlc a second time, but god it is so annoying for all the other functions they gave it now! :wallbash: btw thanks for the reply :thumbsup:
