429 error for downloading mods or installing collections.
JadoSavilar replied to RevanCathal's topic in Vortex Support
I had to download a large collection three times due to issues with a new-build pc, and the third request was denied with the error code 429. I didn't know downloads were capped, even for premium users; I pay for a subscription to avoid having to sit for hours downloading 1300 mods by hand. It seems a bit self-defeating to have such large modlists if there's a cap on downloads; people are always going to have hardware or connection issues, and it's usually easier to start again. I was hoping to get an hour of actual gaming in tonight. :( -
Skyrim Special Edition Nexus Mod Manager support

In response to post #43663380. #43664890, #43666090, #43666755, #43678040, #43686220, #43687490 are all replies on the same post. Couldn't agree more. I'm hugely grateful to all the modders who spend time and energy making content free for the rest of us, it's their work that keeps SKyrim alive and fresh after all these years. -
I hope this is more or less the right place to ask this question, please don't shout at me if not :) I joined Nexus today (as a Supporter) and downloaded the NMM. I tried installing a Skyrim mod but the NMM keeps stopping installation to ask me for login details. I am inputting the same details I use to login to Nexus - I haven;t set up another account so I presume the details are the same - but illogically it keeps telling me the login details are incorrect. How comes? I was not prompted to st up another login account for the NMM, am I missing a step? Thanks.
