  1. Wow, thanks lonewolf_kai, it's the right one I was talking about. Thank you for helping me out, it's always appreciated
  2. Hey everyone. I remember seing a couple of pictures ones for a mod, which featured huge, armored trolls and ogres. It looked really professional, and there seemed to be stronger, better equipped versions of each of them. Now, I've tried searching both the nexus and google, but couldn't find it anywhere. I don't know why I didn't download it when I had the chance, maybe because it required OBSE and I didn't know how it worked at that time? Any suggestions as to what mod it may be is very welcome. P.S. It isn't Yuravica's monster mod, I've already checked that one. Thank you in advance ;)
  3. Thanks Ahondara, it certainly helps. When approaching and "activating" an npc, they do say something generic like "oh, hi", but I won't enter the state in which the player is frozen until he or she exits dialogue. It might very well be that I've forgotten to set the right times for the vendor packages. I'll try working something out. Again, thank you so much for your suggestions. I appreciate that you would take your time to help me out;)
  4. There's a mod that adds goatfeet to Lizette in Solitude, http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/18774 The outfit can be smithed, although I think you wan't a mod that actually adds alternate feet to the characters by default. Plus, it isn't exactly horselegs, but rather goatlegs if you can live with that. Hope it helps in any way(P.S. I too really want to see a race with alternate feet, sorta like the argonian and khajiit legs in Morriwind).
  5. Even in your profile photos you manage to make art...

Anyway, I hope you're doing well and everything is as it should be. Cheers from Denmark.

  6. @ziitch, I understand your views on this matter, it would indeed prove far more convenient to make a one-time investment in a powerful PC instead of depending upon console releases. And when it comes to Bethesda games, then there's no doupt that I'll choose to play them on my own PC. But I'm just one of those people who can't help but enjoy the feeling of a joystick(be it PS3 or Xbox 360) in ones hands and sitting in the couch or a comfy chair in front of a good ol' TV  As for you other guys, then Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is also pretty high up my list, although i first have to finish Portable Ops, Peacewalker and MGS 4. But 1-3 were some of the best games I have ever bought, it was a true experience worthy of the gods to play these games. Everything has been thought about: Level design, character, graphics, music and last but not least, the story. Real masterpieces in my mind. Glad I was glad that I choose to get the HD collection after having finished the orignal MGS which I bought at a very good price. Best 40 dkr ever spend in my life! So, when I get to the point where I can play MGS GZ I'm sure to even more excited. And then, when I have finished them all, I'll go ahead and play them chronologically.
  7. I am in the process of making a new worldspace(essentially a just a new city at the size of Solitude), to serve, as an additional district of Markarth. Check my SkyrimNexus profile for screens if you need to visualize it. But the problem however, is, that I can't enter dialogue with any of my custom npc's(apart from orcs due to default bloodkin dialogue option). I have tried to setup a couple of merchants, each with their own faction and each connected to a specific container placed fairly close by the npc. I have used default voices and everything seems to be in order, yet I cannot talk to them. Also, I have begun making a simple quest, but like the merchants, I can't choose the topic about the quest. In case you wan't to know, then the whole place has been navmeshed(by hand), interiors have been made, all unique including a player home. Now, I really wan't everything to work before releasing it, as I wan't to tell a story about the people of the district and include a quest about rotten business and unfair play, conflicts the Dovahkiin must resolve. And I also wan't to make all the merchants function properly, selling everything from hunting gear to artifacts of quetionable origin. But at this point I've hit the wall due to these problems, and it would be a shame to release it if my original intentions were indeed optainable. So, if anyone has any idea or possibly the solution to this or just more questions, then feel free to leave a comment.
  8. So, winter is coming aswell as a new heap of games across all consoles. But what are you waiting for? Any specific games you simply can't wait till you get your hands on it? For me, it's Assassin's Creed III. I'm totally hyped, partly because of the whole new setting(although I would have preferred Britain, but I really shouldn't complain), but also the new features such as sailing, which will hopefully be freeroaming. Also a whole new story promising even more twists and turns is in store for us, aswell as a new multiplayer arch. I personally hope, that this game will feature even more levels like Hagia Sophia and The Forum of the Ox(ACR), and Outguned and Loose Canon(ACB). What's so great about these levels are, that they are action packed, and allows for some incredibly cool parkour moments. Also, some of the locations feature new areas, like the warmachine memories in ACB. I really hope there will be even more of these, and that many of them a featured in the game already, but also that there'll be smaller downloadable packs with one or two of these missions, aswell as the option to use those Uplay points for even more of them! But now it's your turn, what are you looking eagerly forward to?
  9. Thank you very much for providing this link. I'll be sure to check this guide and see, whether or not I'll be able to finally use an ENB.
  10. As the topic description suggests, I'm on the lookout for an enb-preset(or what you call them). FIrst, let me say, that I have never tried any enb before. I'm completely new to this, and have no idea which are good, and which are outstanding. Now, I'm not looking for anything specific, but I would very like to have one, which saturates the colours(not too much though), and isn't too heavy on the machinery. Also, if there's a realistic version(again, not too fps-dropping), then it would be superb. I guess you must see this request quite often, but it would really be nice to finally play with one of these highly valued enb's. P.S. excuse me if I'm in the wrong thread or something.
  11. Ok, I guess that by this time, most people are pretty bored if not annoyed by all the armor requests. But the clothing depicted on the murals of the nordic ruins are simply to plain awesome for me to not ask about. Because, you see, there's multiple murals throughout the dungeons of Skyrim showing pictures of gods like Dibella(moth), Mara(wolf) and many others. Now, these gods all have some kind of animal connected to them, which also shows from the armor/clothing they are wearing. The clothing in particular is interesting to me, and now I have to asked, if some modder might be interesting to work on these. I like, in particular the HallMuralWolf, shown here: http://i1165.photobucket.com/albums/q598/tpl636/Wolf.jpg And HallMuralHawk: http://i1165.photobucket.com/albums/q598/tpl636/Hawk.jpg The Wolf clothing could be used as the armor for conclusion of the Potema questline, with her wearing this piece of clothing, although it rightfully belongs to Mara. As for making it possible, then the modder could use the torso clothing of the forsworn armor and add the characteristic long sleeves and a helmet with a wolf head, perhaps retextured to be a little darker than the vanilla Forsworn clothing. As for the Hawk armor, then the Saviors Hide could be used with added feathers to form the skirt and the cape. Those are just two of the armors, and it be even better if all of them were made, since many of them actually could be possible with the vanilla assets available. I look forward to seeing whether these are intereting enough for modders to give a go at. For my part, I would deeply love to be able to play with these armors/clothing in game.
  12. Hey, just realized that your member title is the same phrase that one of my teachers once told me. Left me with such a big impression.
  13. Thank you both of you for replying fast, and concerning the search tool, then I will have to agree that I was maybe a tad to eager to find a solution. Sorry for that, my mistake entirely  And as you proposed, David Brasher, then I should maybe try and link my mod to another worldspace than the one I created. That wouldn't be too much of a problem. As for mods I'm using, then I mostly just use standard esp-plugins(no graphics mods, not even enb's). Again, thanks for replying, it's good to know that there's always someone to answer the questions of a noob-modder
  14. Hello all, please excuse me if I'm in the wrong forum. For months I've been working on a mod, which adds a new worldspace and some interiors. One of these is a player house. But recently I discovered, that the game crashes when exiting my player house. Entering works fine, but everytime I exit, there seems to get a CTD. I checked the door, reconnected it, used another one, and even tried to place it some where else in my player house. I checked the navmesh(no that I think it would cause any problems), and everything seems fine. Still I(and some of my testers) get these pretty annoying crashes. I put a lot of effort into this house, and it would be a shame to let it be forgotten because of a bug. So any help is really appreciated. Thank you, and have a continous nice day.
  15. Thank you for your quick answer. I already knew that porting assets from games like WoW was illegal, but I just didn't know if that included games made by Bethesda, since I have heard about games like Morroblivion(which was also mentioned in the article) and a mod for Skyrim involving a Plasma Pistol from Fallout. But I won't take any chances  Once again, you have my gratitude for replying so fast
  16. Okay, first of all, excuse me if I'm in the wrong forum. Second, pardon my rusty english, it really needs to be brushed up  Next is the question I wan't to ask you. You see, for a long time, I've wanted to tryout a little experiment. I would like to see, if some assets from Oblivion(more specific the Ayleid ruins) can be used for Skyrim. The way I wan't to do this is by extracting the original meshes and textures(not those made by other authers, but completely vanilla) and put them into the new creation kit. I've been wanting for a couple of weeks to use these oblivion assets to create new dungeons and stuff for a Skyrim mod. But on to the actual question: Is it legal? Does this site(and the law) allow modders to use objects from previous Bethesda games for their own mods? The reason I'm asking is, that I don't want to go ahead and put a lot of effort into a mod, that can't be uploaded to this site because of copyrighting issues. So before jumping into it, I wan't to know whether it is greenlit, or a no-go project. I fully respect the descission(besides, I can find plenty of other things to do with the already-present items in the Skyrim Creation Kit), and I won't, in any way argue about it. I'm just curious. Thank you for taking your time to read this.
  17. Hey folks. Right now I'm doing a mod which seeks to expand Markarth by adding a new district. And I would like to know, If it is possible to make an activater(a switch for example) which, when activated, creates fire. I have seen other mods do it, but I myself have no idea how to implement it into my own mod. Is it something about making an object, for example fxfirewithembers, which becomes visible only when activated, or is it possible to make actual fire? Thank you for taking your time to read this.
  18. Well, the first thing you pointed out... let's just say I won't get involved in that, most people also have a life on their own. And the problem with modding is not something to bother the people of nexusforums with, unless you actually seek advice on how to solve problems. We didn't make the game or the CK, therefore, people on these forums can't be held responsible for your lack of luck in modding. Go blame Bethesda for that but keep in mind, that as games advance and become more complex, so does the tools used to mod the games.
  19. Hey, I'm making a mod for fallout 3, and I would like to know, how to place an invisible "barrier" of some sorts, that instantly kills the player on touch. I plan on making some harzadous cooling tanks, and it would be great if the player(and anything else for that matter) died when touching them(the invisible barrier). If it's possible, then I would like to know, how to do it.
  20. Yeah, but even though Alduin is badass, Deathwing comes close! I have never played WoW, and have no intention of doing so, but I gotta admit, that this dragon-demon-thing is pretty cool. I would love to see him as a unique(and very powerful) enemy, dropping all kinds of epic loot(help me here WoW-addicts, what's the most badass armor in the game?).
  21. Actually I like that era as well. I love learning about Queen Elizabeth the first. She was so interesting. And don't get me started on the castles and houses they had lol. Yes, Elizabeth I was certainly a "one of a kind" woman. I also enjoy Henry VIII and his various wifes(6 if i remember correctly). Britain has such a wonderful and dramatic history, and each different era is fascinating in it's own way.
  22. GirlGamer55, That would also be nice, although my personal favorite era is the Tudor. God I loved that age for some reason
  23. Wow, that's a nice oppurtunity. Personally, I would LOVE to have a Forsworn-inspired house. Complete with treehouse and a rather big underground cave filled with Flora, Fungus and Fauna. Maybe an exterior house, built high up in the highest trees, safe from the harzadous wildlife underneath. And to compensate the limited posibilies to make a big house centered on one tree, maybe each tree could have a separate room, connected through robe bridges. And the underground cave must also have a sanctuary, devoted to the various worships of the Forsworn culture. All very naturalistic, as if you are in complete touch with nature. But since the house would be placed outside, maybe you could add some buffed spriggans protecting the property? And what about some random, generic FRIENDLY forsworn, wandering around, doing stuff like cooking... That's ofcourse just ideas, but I would love this mod being brought to life. Edit: I would prefer this to be placed arounc the Falkreath area, such beautiful forrests, but again, this is just ideas, I'm in no position to demand anything.
  24. I totally agree with you on the College of Winterhold, too damn small. And the playable instruments-minigame sounds interesting, as long as it doesn't get as tiresome as lockpicking. And a fully realized arena would indeed be nice, although I think a smaller one already exists. But without betting, sadly. Then again, modders tend to update their mods more often than they did for Oblivion, so maybe...
