  1. We've already been to a few of these places...
  2. Make your own hair texture packs and stop bitching because you don't like somebodies work that they themselves have put a lot of hard work and time into.
  3. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\skyrim\Data ^that's the directory to the data folder. You should also use the NMM but just so you know not all support it so you will have to do it by hand which is not hard.
  4. If you change your race it does that, but if you just use it to change your looks then it won't.
  5. I always switch between 1st and 3rd person for any game. i enjoy playing through both, maybe 3rd person more actually. as for the archery i'v never had an issue with aiming in 3rd person. not hard, guess i'm a fast learner?
  6. I personally do not care for it at all, so i overwrote it with my mods and texture packs. also here's a link to the 2k HD pack. this is way better. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=607 and here is a side by side close up of the 'hd dlc' and the 2k hd http://i.imgur.com/VG3Cs.jpg
  7. I read about this issue from others, it's a bug or something with the game, not sure if some others have fixed it or not but my guess is to wait until the game comes out with a patch for it. other games work fin as they should though! P.S. anybody heard anything yet on a 1.5 patch?
  8. Did you install with workshop or nmm or do it by hand? also since you said you have tons of conflicts there are ways to fix this and get things working silky smooth, unless you're on the workshop then i'm not sure they work, wouldn't know as i myself never and will never use the workshop.
  9. For things to really kick in, we're going to have to wait it out, perhaps 6-12 months atleast before the big boys come out and very stable. Some take even longer than that. just have to wait or start making some yourself perhaps?
  10. Or use the Nexus Mod Manager since it seems you're very new to this stuff.
  11. This sounds like a really good idea. I for one loved how the dungeons, caves, Dwemer ruins, and Daedric ruins looked in Morrowind. It does bother me that everything is almost the same since Oblivion. if you do work on this i hope it does get a decent audience. So long story short, you have my support.
  12. My guess is either custom edits in the files, or it's also touched up with photoshop.
  13. http://skyrim.nexusm...file.php?id=607 " Compatibility with the HD DLC: If you want to use the HD DLC and custom made texture packs you should do the following. This mini guide was provided by Caliente. Thanks to you! He wrote this: "1) Find your skyrim.ini file - for Windows 7 users, it will be in My Documents/My Games/Skyrim/skyrim.ini. - for others, it will be in Skyrim/Data/Skyrim.ini. 2) Open the file and search for sResourceArchiveList 3) Edit the line after that to add the values and save the file: HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa someplace after "Skyrim - Textures.bsa". The line should be something very similar to: sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Misc.bsa, Skyrim - Shaders.bsa, Skyrim - Textures.bsa, HighResTexturePack01.bsa, HighResTexturePack02.bsa, Skyrim - Interface.bsa, Skyrim - Animations.bsa, Skyrim - Meshes.bsa, Skyrim - Sounds.bsa Make extra sure you have commas after all the file names, or Skyrim will quietly crash. 4) When loading the game in the launcher, choose "Data Files" and uncheck the two high-res texture packs. Don't worry, they'll still work in game." You may ask yourself whats the difference between my mod and the HD DLC from Bethesda. Click here for a comparison shot. This shot was made with the HD DLC and the FULL version Skyrim HD 2K. The Lite version's architecture is the same resolution as the HD DLC from Bethesda, the rest is 2x higher. " Straight from the link.
  14. What? Where's the "STEP" guide at? Top 100 all time list, it's #31 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11
  15. Do your research before you start flaming. The above poster replied with the fix. P.S. it's not actually a DLC..just a texture mod really....a crappy one too.
  16. It also says it in my post above lol, i knew what it was right away also. :)
  17. Straight from the description itself " WHAT TO EXPECT WARZONES : CIVIL UNREST adds 100s of really pissed NPCs, new SCENERY, new BATTLEFIELDS and new BOSS-LIKE characters. Your reputation with the factions WILL suffer if you start killing indiscriminately - or if your aim happens to suck. Be careful your FOLLOWER/COMPANION doesn't get some friendly folks in the crossfire. While you're at it, be sure to do the same. If you are unfriendly with IMPERIALS, then you're going to get attacked by them. That simple. The inclusion of these battles may change any number of outcomes within the game. Save often. "
  18. Go to the testinghall and grab them from the containers
  19. Wars in Skyrim adds some things in the installer which allows you to enable lore specific race and gender size. not sure if this helps or not.
  20. This would be neat to have, but in the mean time i'll either stick to planning out my perks for certain builds or i'll use the console, i have nothing against it as i use it a lot but not for cheating ( every now and then maybe, just for fun ) mainly for tcl if i get stuck or tfc 1 for screenshots and tm also. P.S. this totally reminded me of this Dragon Age: Origins mod i had that did the same thing. Here's the link. http://dragonage.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=14
  21. Pros. FIre - Damages health Adds DoT ( Damage over time ) Lowest magicka cost Perk special effect causes targets to flee if their health is low (under 20%). Frost - Damages health and stamina Slows the enemy movement speed ( great for fast melee fighters ) Perk special effect paralyzes targets if their health is low (under 20%). Lighting - Damages health and Magicka Great against other mages Fastest travel time Perk special effect allows Shock spells to disintegrate targets if their health is low (under 15%). Cons. Fire - mediocre damage Slowest travel time Not very well against fire resisted enemies Frost - Weakest damage Mediocre travel time Not very well against frost resisted enemies Lighting - Highest magicka cost Not very well against Lighting resisted enemies Also you should let us know if you choose to spend a lot of points into enchanting, the way i heard it is if you go to 100 you can cheat and cast anything with no magicka cost...if you don't want to cheat i would avoid this.
  22. Or better yet, learn how to do this manually, it's really not hard at all, some of us have been doing this since the early Morrowind days. Too many people are too focused on the Nexus Mod Manager, even though it is a great too, too many casual people are scared to do it the other way. Just my 2 septims.
  23. Sounds like you have a crappy computer, do yourself a favor and save up enough to build atleast a decent rig. if that's not an option or you're to cheap to do so ( i know a few friends like this ) then do the following, Lower your resolution tweak your ini to lower more settings or even force things off lower all your settings to the lowest possible setting turn off all advanced settings and draw distance remove all mods that will lower your fps ( this includes ENB Series and textures you got from mods ) to be honest playing at very crappy settings with everything off is better than everything looking good and getting below 20 fps...
  24. You can google "Skyrim must have mods" or.... on the nexus search the top 100 all time list.
  25. Haha i'v always used this feature, works 100% fine for me. Oh and i only use Chrome.
