  1. I log in for the first time in ages and you've only gone and made the site worse with that pop-up pestering users to go Premium every time we want to download a file. Good job. Very impressive.
  2. >EDIT 2 Electric Scootaloo: Apparently someone kept a backup of the previous exe: Thank goodness.
  3. RPS article. Shown at PAX, 2000+ post thread on /v/. It's official.
  4. I've got both, and both have their good points. Bioshock runs well on a moderate PC, and has an excellent setting (Art Deco! Underwater!), but the gameplay and story tails off towards the end. Dead Space is somewhat more demanding, but is genuinely scary - true survival horror. The guns are great, and the dismemberment of enemies is really well executed (pun unintended). The story is also quite compelling and there is a New Game Plus option so you can go through with upgraded kit. I'd get both games, tbh, if I didn't already have them :P
  5. Just bought the "Best of Chicane" album from HMV. Mid-90's dance music!
  6. Granted, but on release it has more bugs than a Brazilian prostitute. I wish for no-one to see the "Offended" page on Encyclopedia Dramatica ( :yucky:  ) (DO NOT FOLLOW LINK PAST GOOGLE! MASSIVELY NOT SAFE FOR WORK OR ANYTHING!).
  7. If you have god mode turned on, turn it off then do player.kill in the console. It works for me and I have a similar problem fairly regularly.
  8. I don't recommend Psi-ops. I got it, and found, to my horror, that there was about 5 seconds of lag between keyboard input and action taken on the screen during one of the boss fights. "LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG!" was the repeated cry as I was crushed by a train carriage again, again and again. If it weren't for the lag, I would recommend it heartily! It's got gibbing! And Physics!
  9. FPS: Serious Sam 2, Bioshock, COD4, Far Cry (superior to Crysis imao) RPG: Neverwinter Nights 2 + Mask of the Betrayer, Mass Effect, Oblivion + community mods RTS: Warcraft 3 + Frozen Throne, C&C3 + Kane's Wrath, Sins of a Solar Empire, Dawn of War + expansions, Company of Heroes Adventure: Lego Indiana Jones, Hitman: Blood Money, Overlord, Psychonauts Oddball: Spore, Sid Meier's Pirates!, The Sims 2 + expansions
  10. Big Rigs isn't broken. It would have had to be at some point complete in order to be broken.
  11. I reckon the best is Skies of Arcadia for the Dreamcast. Epic gameplay, with good graphics for the time it was released. And superweapons. Lots of superweapons. (By all the gods in Valhalla. This thread's been going for FOUR YEARS)
  12. I'm using an unoverlocked Sapphire X1950 Pro 512 AGP. I feel cheated by life though, as I saw that a HD 3850 is available for AGP. <twitch> All together now... "KHAAAAAAAAAN!" :wallbash:
  13. Mankar Camoran seemed a fairly decent fellow, albeit for the World Domination thing. I didn't much like Vicente Valtiere of the Dark Brotherhood. He was ugly and his voice was annoying. Then again, I hate all the Bretons. Most of the vampires I come across seem to be Bretons anyway. Hating Bosmer isn't racist. It's the will of most of the Daemons I commune with. They hate the short little bastards as well. The only Bosmer I like is the one who speaks like a loony in the Shivering Isles. His speech is less annoying than most of the other Bosmer crap.
