  1. I ran into the same bug. Drink the torpor, make the dreamstep, run out of the temple, save, go in and everything should work again.
  2. You have to put the file "Save 36 - Daenerys Helgen Keep 00.28.54.ess" into your save directory manualy. Dont think that a mod organizer can do this automatically.
  3. I would put RLO after CoT, just in case this mod adds/changes lightsources or something. You run a large amount of mods changing lightsources (candles, torches, lanterns and the rest) and a crazy amount of texture mods. You need some beast machine for this (I didnt read through the 9 pages of this thread).
  4. Bevor reinstalling I would first try to uninstall (not untick) all mods which can alter bodyshapes. Custom race mods, beauty mods and so on. Just everything related. If that doesnt help, use your game version with the uninstalled mods and start a new game and check if the vampires in the new game are also distorted. If thats the case I would start new (rename skyrim folder to skyrim old or something) and install new. You still have your backup of your old skyrim just in case. Try to use your savegame where you encountered distorted vamps and check if its still the same. If it is uh well... Another idea... Just checked a mod Im using which alters townfolk. I see its installing into /skyriminstalldir/data/meshes/actors/character/facegendata/*.* Check if you have a facegendata folder at the same place and if so, move it to a backup place. Also found this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21839/ which is a retexture mod, but not sure if its npc or pc. It changes /skyriminstalldir/data/textures/actors/character/male/maleheadvampire.dds and a couple of other files in near directories. Check if your skyrim install is vanilla at these places.
  5. I kinda dont understand the problem. A bunch of NPC vampires have sunken cheeks and some not. So far I didnt saw a single mod which fixes npc vampire cheeks and I think its just normal. Serana is something special, as I played through dawnguard she never had sunken cheeks (at least not much). Shes also an essential follower. If its about your char being a vamp with the cheek problem, there are a couple of mods who try to fix this. I used http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/22477 for some time. One thing to remember is that ECE is using own faceparts and will conflict with other mods doing the same except the one I linked After rereading your text I realize that most what I wrote is useless anyway. -.- What I can say is that sunken cheeks isnt a texture problem, its a mesh one. Actually its just normal for vampires and I know of no way to "fix" it for npc vampires.
  6. I guess NormalVampireFaces.esp should normalize the vampire face? Try to put it last on load order.
  7. The papyrus log shows that you run a save where at one time you had a lot of mods installed und later uninstalled them. Now the scripts of the uninstalled mods, which still run but cant find their mod anymore, bloat the log. Probably thats also the reason for your ctd. The moment you enter the area skyrim tries to load a mod which isnt there anymore and crashes. Dont think you will see anything useful in the papyrus log. You can try to disable every mod you have except the ones you need to load up the save and try to go outside. If this works you know its one of your installed mods causing the problem. SoS seems to bloat up saves. So if you your save is like 30 mb++ big SoS corrupted your save (30 is just a number I made up. My level 55 save was 15mb big and I ran a bunch of mods)
  8. I too would like to know an answer to this question. If the mod uses loose files I can check /scripts folder of the archive and the number of the files there might hint about script usage. Or I install the mod make a save, uninstall mod, load save and than check the papyrus log about entries. But thats not really good and reliable. The best thing so far is checking the modpage and the comments section. I knew that convienant horses is running tons of scripts because the author wrote it. In the end I used it but actually I only wanted a mod which let my follower use a horse when Im riding one. Dont need mounted combat, horse charge or horse herding. Just a horse for my follower. -.-
  9. Actually the fxDustDropRandomSCRIPT.OnLoad entry is only annoying but not the cause of crashes. It eats performance and spams the papyrus log. Better Vampires, wet and cold, predator vision are the big spammers in my papyrus.log. Thx for the links, going to install them right away.
  10. Stand in front of a column in whiterun (smithy is pretty good). Go first person perspective und walk into the column until you cant to further. You should see a pixilated texture. Make a screenshot and save the game now. Disable all the texture packs load up game. You should be in the same position as you saved. Make a screenshot. You find both screenshots normally in the installdir of skyrim. Use a bmp viewer and check if between the 2 screens there is a difference. IF the texture packs work (and the column was retextured which I think should be the case) there is some visible difference. That means the texture packs work and the quality loss you see is from another source (driver, enb, whatever). If the screenshots are the same I have no clue why the texturepacks dont work.
  11. This is the one Im talking about http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/24168 and it does show up if I export with NMM. If its not showing its either not activated or your mod manager is bugged.
  12. Uninstall skyre and check if its still crashing? You run a lot of custom race mods btw and I dont see the racecompability mod in your load. Possible that the races dont need it though.
  13. Reading this I have following thoughts: - BV for custom races is based on racecompatibility, dont see this in the load. - You run a lot of mods which probably interfere with skyre (I know there is reproccer but still...) - Exclusive path mod seems to be hard on the limit atm. I too thought about trying it out but everytime I read through the comments I deceide to leave it as numerous people write about crashes and problems.
  14. This looks like some warpaint. You probably use racemenu, check there that in all races (breton, bretonvampirerace, lovergirlbaserace) no warpaint is ticked. (last menue in racemenu especially). Go through your mods and identify warpaint mods, disable them. Cant remember if ECE also supports warpaints, but in any case disable that too (as it is written on lovergirl nexuspage).
  15. type in google SKyrim Realistic Overhaul follow 5th hit, page 4 are downloads. I tried the first one which seemed to work.
  16. Forum ate my post. Short version: Whats fFastTravelSpeedMult_4.esp? Put the unof. patches higher in load. Thin out the mods which do similar things (snow, flora, whiterun)
  17. Remove the enb and check manually that the files are really gone. Move the skyrim.ini, skyrimprefs.ini to a save place (use google to find their location). Start the tes5launcher, a window will pop up that its detecting your hardware, exit the launcher (this will write the new files you just put away). Now the skselauncher should work again. If you modified your skyrim/skyrimprefs.ini use the saved files to implement the changes you had to the new inis.
  18. Activate the papyrus log. If you lag before you crash there is a good chance that you find evidence in the log that some mod is going berserk before game dies. I also would put the unofficial patches higher in the load order (personally I would try to put them directly behind the .esm files they patch). If RealisticNeedsandDiseases.es and RND_Dragonborn-Patch.esp/RND_PureWaters-Patch.esp/RND_USKP-Patch.esp are from the same mod I would change the load order. You have to load the main file first to get it patched. At least thats what I would do. Frostfall and wet and cold are pretty similar. Check both modpages if there are compatilbility patches available. torches for realistic lighting.es is a pretty old mod. Not sure if its dawnguard/cot compatibel
  19. Disable 50% of the mods with the launcher. Load and if its still crashing disable more. Doesnt take long.
