  1. Hi there I am unsure if this is actually allowed as i've seen modders being able to be commissioned to bring in models into BG3 for a commission. If it isn't please shut this topic down. However as title suggests looking to commission modders to bring in weapon and armor models into the game
  2. True that...whilst its a longshot think RFCW (Requiem of the Capital Wasteland) for Fallout 3 and New Vegas...Pretty similar to Morroblivion IMO, but its legal. Probably also has something to do with the fact that Obsidian pretty much used the exact same assets EDIT: In that sense whilst the models were reused, the scripts, storyline, voice-acting were pretty much ALL ported over, all of Beth's work was pretty much placed into Obsidian's new game. Its a very grey area, sometimes Developers just let it slide because they don't mind too much, other times they decide to stop it at all costs like what they did with Morrowind and Oblivion. So IMO before jumping the gun about everything, it really is at the discretion of the Bethseda.
  3. I second this...i've managed to do everything right so far except find out where the 1stperson nif is meant to be...so right now in 1stperson it seems to use the 3rd person nif which prohibits a lot of view. Man the creation kit can't come fast enough
  4. My question is if its possible to ask the Beth Developers whether or not we could directly port content over providing we have a legitimate version of both games. I know BioWare has allowed this with Dragon Age 2 and Dragon Age Origins, letting modders utilise resources of both games in either one.
  5. Yes and they both limit the PC like crazy... Crysis 2 has so far been the only game to do it fairly successfully and even then, the building of the game on the console meant that Crysis 2 was never going to be as graphically beautiful as its predecessor. Crysis was only released for consoles after porting it over to the new engine...xbox360 and PS3 would implode at having to deal with CryEngine 2
  6. Really less gore? And i was annoyed that i didn' t get decapitations and finishing moves more often...I want a mod that pretty much does it everytime...=/
  7. Most console commands from Oblivion work.... The creation engine seems to be nothing more than a revamped gamebryo engine, uses esp and nif files, just like other games. player.setav carryweight (insert number here without the brackets)
  8. What a pointless request... For one it would involve animations which aren't even that well done and for two it would be purely aesthetic, the time and effort involved would not be worth it when modders could put their efforts elsewhere... killzone12, a mod like this is not only tough, but it brings almost nothing to the game of Dragon Ages, and it serves only to satisfy your personal need to see females have bouncing boobs in a video game, if its done in Oblivion congrats, that modder wanted it too and had the skill to do it. Frankly i don't like these kind of requests, people should actually think about whats possible before actually posting something, it's like saying "Oh i want to request the ability for my character to fly" when it's not even built within the game engine. Oblivion had YEARS before any mod like the one you're suggesting happened. You need to stop being so rude, we could just as easily say you're a sad pervert wanting a mod like this, but we don't, so get your manners straightened out, your attitude wouldn't attract you any would be modders.
  9. Nope look at the erfs in the addins.. And yes some people paid for them, Warden's Keep didn't come with my copy so i bought it, same with Return to Ostagar. You can understand why some people are peeved off
  10. Actually if we can get custom modules into the game, it'd be very easy to rip out all the DLCs from the erfs and remake them as a custom module and bam! there's your DLC content right there. Problem is, if its released, all the other people who didn't pay for the DLC will have access to DLC only items. Which wouldn't trouble me given how BioWare has decided to give the middle finger to everyone who paid for their DLCs.
  11. Thing is if you want to use starmetal you'll need to rip out the DLC content and that waould be illegal to redistribute... i've managed that and the stats for all items with starmetal as the material work perfectly fine, thing is you can probably manage to do it, but released it would be an issue. There's even a Starmetal tint for armor
  12. Not really...since i've been able to export custom models out of 3dsmax and import them successfully into DAO... You've just got to wait till someone is interested and can import/export it successfully, its not actually all that hard
  13. Thats doubtful IMO, if the Archdemon were just really powerful Dragons, they wouldn't be capable of leading a Blight, High Dragons like the one located at Haven just did what you expected of a monster, it didn't cause an organised invasion of nations of Thedas, it just unleashed a massive rampage every few centuries and went dormant again. The Archdemon however is capable of communicating to the Darkspawn and use them effectively (He was smart enough to draw your entire party to Redcliffe with a few Darkspawn while the main horde ambushed Denerim). Demons in the Fade do not possess such cunning, many of them do not understand the mortal realm at all and believe that their own power would suffice, hence they never use any tactical maneuvers, they just attack and attempt to change any mortal into an abomination. Uldred is an example of this, as does the Desire Demon inhabiting Connor. You also recall how the Old God is "corrupted" by the Darkspawn taint, that doesn't just happen to demons, there is just too many seperating them apart, Demons call out to mortals in the Fade, the Archdemon does no such thing, and calls out to the Darkspawn instead. They are completely different beings, if the Archdemon happened to be just another form of Demon, then there should be demons within the Fade capable of understanding the taint in the Grey Wardens, which they don't. The Tevinter Imperium were hardly "primitive" at that point either, you don't have a grand empire, with powerful magisters and end up being primitive, they worshipped the Old Gods like you said however because they had immense power, and it's obvious their power would've far exceeded that of a normal Dragon. It was also said that the Old Gods taught them magic, whether its true or not, most myths originate from the truth.
  14. Thats a very good point, regarding about whether the child can be sensed, and its also an interesting concept because while Flemeth and Morrigan obviously have plans for the child, it's insinuated many times that demons do not understand the taint and its capable of being used against them effectively. Avernus states this in all his research, about how Blood Magic is in the end useless against Demons because it's power is derived from there, and that the main power that Wardens have against them, had something to do with the taint inside them. Also did anyone notice how some Darkspawn Emissaries were capable of summoning Demons without any ill-effects such as possession?
