Do you boot Skyrim from the Skyrim Launcher and is the DATA FILES option grayed out in the launcher?

After trying this and that since yesterday some problems are gone or reduced to acceptable levels now the only game breaking thing now is the freezes, the game freezes for a few seconds periodically(periods of a few secs) and after a couple of minutes it crashes or completely freezes so I have to terminate it with the task manager.

That's how I access the task-man and close the game, otherwise it just stays like that forever

Problem solved. For the people who have or may in the future have the same weird bow aiming bug I solved it in some odd way. I play a Wood Elf character and with a console command I changed my race to another one(in my case Khajiit) it somehow solved the problem, the with the console command again I returned back to Wood Elf(race menu loses progress as most of you know that's why I used commands) and problem solved.

When the game freezes alt+tab doesn't work.

Even after disabling or even uninstalling all your mods they may still leave behind traces and crumbs. If you really want to know if Dragonborn is the cause of these issues, you'd have to do a clean install of Skyrim and start a new, fresh save. If the problems still exist then it is most likely still something on your end though, could be that your PC simply doesn't have enough processing power for example. Otherwise you tell me how it's possible that I and many others don't have these bugs if they are solely caused by the Dragonborn DLC. Do you think Beth sent out bugged copies to some and working ones to others? And they really must've disliked you if they got you the worst copy of all, eh? My PC(I use a laptop) isn't a high end one but not a low end one either, Acer AS4820TG, i5 cpu(arrandale), hd5650 vram, 6 gig ddr3 ram, skyrim launcher sets the game to high quality when analyzing system at first but I even change it to medium so can not be my PC I guess. As I said I am over level 70 completed nearly all the quests except from the ones of Dragonborn, playing the same character from day one so I am not starting over for that. I haven't had this many problems with any dlc or mod so far, I am as aware as you that mods can cause problems but people not using mods report having problems too fella so maybe on the contrary Beth just loves you so got you guys the bug free copies? I agree the game is just too good, I am a hardcore RPG gamer but I couldn't call any other game an RPG after Skyrim, for example I could stand Kingdoms of Amalur for only about half an hour and returned back to Skyrim but these bugs made my game unplayable, I can't make few steps without a freeze most of the time my saves can't be loaded so I have to load older and older saves all the time. y character flexes like a plastic toy when trying to aim a bow. I play a minute then waste time on problem solving for hours. I tried without any of the mods and problems still exist so it is not the mods that cause it. Since the dlc my saves are bloated about 4-5 times of the ones before too most people have problems, as I see here I am just having all at once and that is the annoying part. Every single Dragonborn problem mentioned here I have too.

I have the same problem since I got the Dragonborn dlc. All was fine before that.

That is probably a bug too, I have such a problem too but not only with carriages. When I am supposed to give something to or take something from NPCs sometimes the conversation moves on but the item isn't added to or taken from my inventory so some quests can't proceed.

Did you try stopcombat console command?

Well this is my mod list. Yesterdat I removed dragonborn, made a save, reinstalled and started it from the beginning and now word walls work. But the game still slows or freezes most of the time. Evert few seconds it freezes for a while and after some time it freezes completely and I have to close the game from task manager. Ok Dragonborn sucks, so here is one of the problems I got after installing the dlc and uninstalling it didn't solve this either. Uninstalled mods, checked the .ini files, nothing helped. As I move my croshair a bit the arms and the bow of my character move mush more so I never hit where I aim sometimes I can't even see what I'm aiming at cause arms and bow get in my way. Here are some photos to show the problem too. It might look Lucky Luke like but not much practical. Any way to fix it? I can't play dragonborn even can't play whole skyrim cause of the bugs dragonborn brought along but still I don't believe the stories of the main quest and dlc rerlate much so play which one you like first.

Maybe you need to run generatefnis thing if you use fores new idles mod. That solved such a problem for me when dawnguard came out long ago.

Guess they just really spend time for the xbox dlcs not pc and definitely not ps3. Unfoprtunately many of the problems dragonborn caused now stay even when I uninstall dragonborn dlc. The aiming, the freezing etc. It probably messed my save file as I looked around saw a few saying the aiming problem is cause of a corrupted save file.

Ok I played Skyrim since the first day I had a few problems but most could be fixed, but with Dragonborn came nothing but problems. Word walls don't work, not able to travel to solstheim most of the time, levers etc in dungeons may not work, game is slowed down and freezes every few seconds for a while, sometimes freezes and I have to restart the game, aiming is screwed I move the crosshair a little but the arms and the bow move nearly double that and as I am a stealth archer type of player it mmesses all my game I just can't hit what I aim at sometimes can't even see my aim cause of the over moved arms and bow etc etc etc etc... I am over level 70, spent hundreds of hours and not gonna start a new game and do all the same stuff just to be able to play a dlc so I am pretty much done with Skyim thanks to the buggiest dlc I have ever seen, I have seen better viruses for gods sake. Sadly I don't have such a save and I have the same problem for all word walls of the DLC

I have a similar problem, but I can't learn other words from walls in Solstheim either and couldn't find a solution yet.

Ok Dragonborn came seems to be the buggiest of all three addons so far. I traveled to solstheim done a few quests etc but none of the word walls in the place work and I can not learn the shouts so can not proceed in the story. The word walls in skyrim work on the other hand. I deactivated all mods but still the problem exists. Anyone else had the same problem or knows how to fix it? Thanks
