  1. Lol Not too young. Maybe we should lower it to 50? 55? LOL! That's right. Go ahead and blame the rabbit. Everybody else does. But really, it's good to get this out among ourselves. The Rabbit Whoa. What? I can personally blame rabbits for one thing only. That would be.... Well.... Hmm.... Nope. Can't blame rabbits for anything. Where did you get these patches
  2. Am already using that. It also removes live from the pause menu.
  3. It's set to private. I have requested access. Thank you.
  4. My dad said it would be ok for me to post as him since he is working right now. So, my dad and me have tried getting this working and have tried everything we have found online to fix it, but Steam still doesn't show time played properly. We have renamed fose_loader to FalloutLauncher.exe, tried running some dumb mod from another site that said it fixed that issue, but all that mod did was mess up the game where it had to be installed again and the av had to remove a virus. Please help us to get Steam and Fallout 3 talking. Thank you!
  5. Thought so. But, after installation, no folder was created. I used the newest release from their site.
  6. This might be a redundant question, but I will ask anyway. Is your Windows 10 legit? My grandson had downloaded Windows 10 from someplace. Well, lo and behold, he started having issues with his Steam games. So, I bought him Windows 10 and now he has no issues. Except normal ones that we all get. Anyway, I'm just an old man rambling.
  7. http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17633/? Thanks, Steve. Was just curious. Am staying away from mods for awhile. At least until the Tannin42 NMM comes out.
  8. Have you tried all of those combined at the same time? In Boston, I ran at a steady 55. Now that I'm running vanilla, I'm lucky to get 20, so I tend to stay away, unless it's quest related.
  9. Instead of poopooing on it, give it a shot. Whether it was VRAM related or not, other people have had good results with the above. But, anyway. My dad always told me that you can lead a horse to water, but, you can't make it drink.
  10. I'm just going to say that I am done with the show. THAT IS ALL!!
  11. I pretty much have the game stutter free. GTX 960, AMD 8320. But, I used a few mods and ini settings to get it that way. What I was using, before I stopped using mods was: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4172/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2428/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2628/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18815/? http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/2208/? Once it was stable, I installed this, just for shitz and giggles: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9498/? I used the most transparent option. It may or may not help you. But, that's what helped me to get a stable 55 - 60fps.
  12. Since I'm no longer using mods, I decided to give ReShade a try. I followed the guide here: http://www.tweakguides.com/Fallout4_1.html But, after installing, I cannot find ReShade directory. Not to mention the Mediator.exe. So where exactly did it install too? I have done a search for it, but, nothing is found.
  13. Hey, what mod is that? I THINK I remember when it hit the FO4 main mod page.
  14. I also hope to see the next installment. Nice to meet you also. We need to start an Old Geezers Club here at the Nexus. Minimum age 58. lol
  15. I got you both beat. 1946 here. :)
  16. SharraShimada, I know. I'm a MO/MO2 person. Just thought that if Tannin42 was jumping off an unsinkable ship, that I would join him on the Titanic. I mean I'm just a shiphand, but, aren't we supposed to follow our captain? "Matty3d, it's just awful! The modding world is changing so much, I can't keep up!" I agree with you that MO/MO2 are the best. NMM is broken. The foundation is old, decrepit and is sinking in the sand. FOMM was an excellent tool in it's time. But after all these years, the foundation has rotted out. Only time will tell what Tannin42 will do with it.
  17. That's how I used to do it. Then I used NMM when it first came out. Why? Because I got lazy. Then I decided to use MO one day. It was a bit confusing at first, but, I got used to it. Because I liked the idea of the mods never touching the actual game install. Off and on through the years, I've gone back to NMM and I have always cursed myself after and I always return to MO. So, here I am, with a fresh install of FO4 again, because I tried justifying to myself that it would be ok, because Tannin42 has decided to join the Nexus crew. Anyway, I'm probably going to use mods manually again or go back to MO. But, I hesitate to use MO now. It works great, but, without Tannin42, it will never achieve what it was meant to be.
  18. I'm a modder who got used to using MO. NMM is an alien artifact that belongs in NMS. Just saying. But, yeah, I'm done. We will see what happens when the Tannin42 NMM comes out. But, until then.... I'll be in the sidelines, eating popcorn and vanilla ice cream.
  19. I won't even go there. I removed all of my mods from there also.
  20. with NMM and mods. More issues. CONSTANT issues. NMM is a broken mess. It refuses to uninstall/install mods. When installing a mod that has .ba2 archives, it doesn't install them. My own fault. I decided to come back to NMM because Tannin42 has been hired by the Nexus. BIG freaking mistake. No one to blame but myself. So, I'm uninstalling FO4 and I'll be back as vanilla. (God, I loathe that word.) I will leave my mods up, but, they will not be updated anymore, unless someone else takes them over. I hereby give my permission to anyone, use them as you wish.
  21. Thanks again, bro. I'm also looking.
  22. Well, not this time the saves aren't. Ever hear about people being banned from Steam support? *Points at himself* Yup. That would be me. They raped my credit card a few years ago and well... I got vicious. Ever since then, I don't get replies from them when I put in a support request. So, technically not banned, but, persona non grata. Any other ideas?
  23. So, due to SSD failure, I had to get a new SSD and reinstall everything. So, doesn't Steam save your game saves to the cloud? I know it used to. Because I have had to reinstall FO4 a few times and done Windows reformats before and my saves would always show back up. This time, I have nothing. Zip. Nada.
  24. Thanks. That didn't help though. I have rolled NMM back to the previous build and everything works properly.
