  1. I just want some daedric armor that doesn't look like it was designed by me when I was an edgy 10 year old. No ridiculous spike pauldrons or weird spikes on the gauntlets. I want a suit of daedric armor that doesn't look like it would be borderline impossible to fight in.
  2. it is annoying when you launch a spell and then for some reason that is the moment a friendly npc needs to charge right infront of it to block it from hurting the enemy. So I want a mod that make all friendly ai avoid your spells instead of acting like human shields for every hostile npc.
  3. well then you can try going to that file and right click, pull up the properties and set it to read only. If that doen't work I can try to talk you through some stuff to find the issue if you are unable to resolve it.
  4. I'll help with voice acting and writing but only if you can promise that if the mod gets criticism that instead of getting mad and deleting/blocking people you take the criticism and try to make the mod better. Sadly I have to say that stipulation since I have encountered mod authors who if you point out a technical issue or story issue will just get mad that someone could dare point out a flaw in their work.
  5. I have no idea about Lydia dialog mods but as far as LOOT it works perfectly. Used it last night when I decided to download AFT.
  6. Not quite what I am after. That doesn't really look much like him from Oblivion.
  7. A mod that makes Sheo look like he did in Oblivion, face and clothes. I have no idea why in Skyrm they made him look so bad in comparison.
  8. I like that idea because too many people lie about what their mod is and without being able to rely on reviews there is no way to know what is wrong with a mod as well as whats in it. Maybe I should start a website for mod reviews just so others don't end up wasting their time on bad mods like I have.
  9. I think you are right. I guess I'm just bummed out about it because I wish I could know if a mod is really going to be lore friendly or not. Especially since I know the comment sections are unreliable since critical posts seem to disappear a lot so I have been tricked a lot by seeing a lot of positive reviews in the comment section only to try it out and find bugs galore that lead to ctd's even on my decent rig which has the cleanest registry ever and I manually install everything to make 100% sure nothing can go wrong with NMM. Plus writing that just doesn't add up and is always excused by the dragon break which is such a cop out, its like whenever I hear CHIM used as an excuse. Is there maybe some non youtube letsplay format way of finding out more about mods? I tried googling a lot of mods but google doesn't give results that seemed informative.
  10. Its definitely a mod problem. Likely its Open Cities that is causing it. Try a test run with it disabled and see if it still happens. Base game with the dlcs should not cause this unless you have a massively outdated graphics driver.
  11. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/31638 A mod for Skyrim that adds in the wraith version of the soul reaver like the above mod did for Oblivion except as a spell or power. the way the blade comes out of the hand is just awesome and would be great for battlemage characters.
  12. Use Unrestricted Magicka. Its the best alternative to Ordinator which I don't use because it is incompatible with a ton of mods I like to use.
  13. I come across this a lot where a mod says lore friendly but then it will have something like rifles or adding in new gods that are more powerful than all aedra and daedra or changing established ES characters entire backstory and life. Shouldn't a mod only use the lore friendly tag if it doesn't outright contradict the lore or timeline of the series? Lore friendly shouldn't mean that it just uses names from the lore but changes the characters belonging to those names into completely different characters and alters the series history completely. I want to be able to search for actual lore friendly mods but unfortunately with the tag as overused as it is I basically have to just ignore every single mod that ads quests since I don't know if it will really be lore friendly or if 5 minutes into the mod the Terminator will show up with really large guns and talk about how he is a dragonborn from an alternate universe and his name is Terma Nator then gives me a laser gun and says we gotta fight Skynet which has merged with dragons somehow and is the real threat instead of alduin.
  14. Better vampires, USLEEP, iNeed, Deadly Dragons, Weapon damage UI, Apachii Hair, Scarcity, Violens. Oh and you'll need a good face texture replacer, I forgot the one I use but it makes it so my Breton actually looks like he is in his twenties.
  15. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/76729 not quite the same, but its close and I personally use it.
  16. I came up with more. An enchantment that deflects arrows so you don't have to always look like a pincushion after fighting archers. An enchantment that's boosts the damage of the vampiric drain spell. Also I got an idea off an amulet I made playing Morrowind, an enchantment that summons a dremora permanently as long as you have the item equipped. Oh and gauntlets that summon a bound sword when you press the button to raise your fists for combat.
  17. Oh I didnt even really know about armor set bonuses since I never put perk points into the armor trees. I see what you mean about it taking a while due to the numbers. could it be done where you just make one pair of pants from the royal vampire lord armor that you can just equip on the character model despite another armor being on? For instance since Nightingale has very tight pants if someone equipped the new pants it would just cover the legs on the model. Obviously that would clip badly with most armors however since its really just to cover up and skinny legged or pantless armor like Saviors hide (which looks silly on men due to its lack of pants) I don't think that would be a problem.
  18. I would like if you can equip torso slot that is different than the pants you want to wear like in Morrowind and Oblivion. Like being able to equip the executioners top or Nightingale top with vampire royal armor pants. So maybe adding a second version of the vanilla/dlc armors that allows mix and matching if that makes it easier. For those like me that will only ever play as a male character that would be a godsend since there aren't a lot of great armor options for men since either the top will be cool and the pants are too tight or the pants look good but the top is bulky around the waist.
  19. Seems very childish to remove your mods becasue you dont like something that happened in the real world. If every mod author was like that then there would be no mods for any games
  20. Well I like the idea of an enchantment that grows in power whenever it kills something. Sort of like what Umbra is described to be able to do in lore. Also a enchantment that does extra damage to specific types of enemies. I love the idea of an enchantment that does extra damage to dragons, sort of like the idea of the dragon buster in Legend of Dragoon.I barely woke up so if I think of more later ill add them.
  21. Thank you! It works great. I used the help console command to locate the ref id to add it to my inventory and im quite happy now.
  22. I want it just for the gloves. I plan to use them for my mage dragonborn.
  23. so every mod that uses the Nightingale as a base for an armor always has the same issues as vanilla skyrim where the fingers are the wrong color. The lgendary patch only fixes the base game item to use the right fingers yet every mod that also uses those gauntlets wont use the right fingers even post patch. So I want a mod that either can apply the legendary patch fix to all armors using nightingale gauntlets or can even just give me an unenchanted version of the nightingale gloves with the fix.
  24. go to your documents/bioware/dragon age and search for a file with "Alistair" in the title and its file type will me mor, delete the file and you delete the morph. Don't use NMM, maybe when the kinks are all ironed out then sure but at this point just manually install everything.
  25. Ok sorry but no. Like I was with you on sound techs since I like good background music while im exploring but as soon as you mentioned writers I had to laugh a bit since too many writers are the cause of plot holes, smeg ups (mess ups for the non Red Dwarf fan) and all sorts of issues like bringing up plot points then dropping them for seemingly no reason and never addressing them again. Too many cooks in the kitchen spoil the broth. The best writing of all time doesn't come from a team of writers. When it comes to the best writing it is usually done by one person with a substance abuse problem and a history of depression and/or mental issues. Video game voice acting is already pretty much all terrible anyway so I would go with text boxes instead as it also fixes a lot of issues like the other characters not refering to your character by the name you gave them. Designing is a job I can do, not too hard. I made my own pen and paper rpg in like a week back in middle school. I'd have used Origins engine, an entirely new engine was far from necessary when what they had would work great. As for testers I always insist on doing testing myself as then as soon as I encounter an error I can fix it. (Been doing that since I did my first ever romhack) Dragon Age 2 did some things right and part of that is that it made the game prettier. The animations looked less choppy and weird, the Qunari got a cool redesign to make them appear more alien which was cool and the same with the elves. I also liked that you could be friends or rivals with companions. The game looked good, however it really only looked good. So I figured that Inquistion would iron out the kinks and give us a full rich game that was amazing. I was so wrong, oh god was I wrong. Look I may not like DA2, I played it but it wasn't the worst rpg available for ps3 or even in the top 5 (Star Ocean The Last Hope clearly wins that award), I was disappointed with DA2 but with Inquistion I felt like Spoony screaming "Betrayal" every 10 seconds of gameplay.
