Do you have any idea what to do with the OMOD files? Import is what I meant. I am using tweaks as well and I am fairly sure FCOM requires a good bashed patch.
-
Are those things the ONLY things I check? Or are those just the required things. Do I need to check merge actors .. etc ( using FCOM )

" mod, not csv " What is a " CSV "
-
and just making sure I remembered right.. a name in all green in wrye bash means that all you have to do is merge it into a bash patch. And it doesn't need to be activated.. right?

Thanks for the help on Wrye Bash it worked =D!

I am decompressing a big mod into a OMOD currently so I will try that on Wrye Bash in a few minutes. On the second issue I know you need to move OMODS to that folder but the problem is ( at least on windows 7 ) is that a download bar will pop up. With all of your downloads in it. And it refuses to let you drag out any of the files from there. I can get files out in archives by opening them up them moving them. But when it is just a file like it is with this OMOD and not in a archive I cannot pull it out of the download bar and I cannot copy/paste.. etc. It's probably a noobish question and I remember I got around this by doing some weird stuff but I have completely forgot about it and might as well find out how to do it the correct way.

While I am at it. A unrelated problem. Is that while make OMODS in OBMM I can get the job done most of the time. But for the mod " DarkUI Darn " it downloads as a file instead of a archive. And I cannot move that file from the download bar. When I try to use the create a OMOD function it does not show as a downloaded archive, folder, or file, and I am not sure how to get it out of the download section. If I could do that I could create it in a few seconds.

I haven't been using OBMM to manage my load order. I have used BOSS while both OBMM and Wrye Bash are closed. After I do that when I go into OBMM the mods are put in perfect order. But in Wrye Bash they don't order at all. And Bash Patch is the first esp in the list. And I have unchecked locked times. I used Wrye Bash a lot when I used to mod. And I don't remember this happening to me. I know how to add in mods in boss .. etc. But so far all of mine are recognized and they are all FCOM related for the most part. All I need to get this underway is to have wrye bash recognize the BOSS load order changes. I have even run BOSS out of Wrye Bash and it still does not change it's load order.

Finally got it working. Wrye Bash is launching fine now. BUT ONE LAST PROBLEM! After I get this solved I can start playing and ill probably end up splooging all over the walls. Wrye bash won't take the same load order as OBMM or BOSS. I set BOSS up and it fixes the load order on OBMM to the correct spots. But It won't change the load order of Wrye Bash. And I have unchecked Lock Times on Wrye as well. If anyone can help with this last thing please let me know. Haven't played in a year.

Hey do I need to uninstall my current Wrye Bash to do that? Because I can't find where or how to uninstall it in the readme. Also I do have Python so is there another way to fix it besides using the BETA? I don't want to be dealing with a lot of bugs.
-
Hmm ill try it. But I did download the python reqs listed off of the FCOM page.

I am using the version of Wrye Bash that was on TesNexus. ( Wrye Bash 291 Installer Version )

Update on this. In my folder " C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\Mopy " Where the launcher is. " " Wyre Bash Launcher " still does nothing. But for some reason when I double click on " DebugLog(python2.6) " It will launch. But only if I allow a black screen to stay up. It exits when I close it. I think this is a problem still though.

I started out with a clean install of oblivion yesterday. And have been downloading only FCOM related mods. ( and OBSE and all the unofficial patches ). With all the official add ons. I have none of them besides the unofficial patches and the official add ons activated as of now. I also used BOSS to set up the load order. And now I need to make a bashed patch. Except Wyre Bash ( which was working a few hours before I downloaded FCOM and OBSE ) now will not start up. It doesn't crash it just doesn't do anything when I try to launch it. Any ideas?

FCOM Install / Planet Elder Scrolls links help!
OleWilliams replied to OleWilliams's topic in Oblivion's Mod troubleshooting
heh thanks that one seems to send me to the add too. I found a place in the FCOM website called " internode " that has it too so it worked out. -
Getting back into modding oblivion. Starting anew trying to get the cleanest installations of my favorite mods and then to recline and play oblivion for 10 strait weeks. But there's a problem. While getting the FCOM installation underway I noticed that all the links on Planetelderscrolls.com Are dead. They all go to a add put up by IGN that blocks any access to the downloads. I have gotten around this for all of it so far by going other places but I can't get around this one. Fran's 4.5b Add-On Package If anyone can help me find another spot to download this or a way around this add that is starting to give me a hernia please let me know.
