I have around 130, but that's not counting my enb and the large amount of texture mods I have installed :biggrin:

As the title says, I was hoping for someone to provide a retexture that matches the Savior's Hide's color of metal with a retexture of the Elven gauntlets, boots, and the helmet. I have this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/9444/?tab=2&navtag=/ajax/modimages/?user=0|:|id=9444 , and the Savior's Hide looked empty without some armor to go along with it. FYI, for male please.
I was browsing thru the vanilla armors while I had the Hide on, and the Elven armor looked like it would fit if it was the right coloring/texture.

If anyone does this that would be great, I think it might be simple enough, but also if anyone does this, could you put it in under Leather/Steel category in the forge, allow it to protect roughly the same as Elven counterparts, and have it unenchanted?

You need to make sure you placed it in your Data folder where the Skyrim BSA's are, the texture and meshes folder, etc.

You should probably post some pictures to give potential modders an idea of what to work on.

It sorta looks like the Champion Mage armor from Dragon Age 2 in some areas.

I like the look of it, but if I were to give my opinion, the heel on the boot isn't preferable. But, other than that, the armor is pretty damn cool. Also, this is your armor, so you do what you want to with it, that was just my opinion.

I was wondering what other Skyrim mod hosting websites are there? Outside of Steam, here, PES, TESalliance, The Holds of Skyrim, Curse, and the Forge. Don't get me wrong, this is a great site, but I was looking for some foreign sites, because often, they might have several mods that are on here. I know of modgames.net and the chinese sites (which are waaaaaay to confusing to traverse and translating it doesn't help), so does anyone have any other foreign modding websites they know of that are recommandable?

Almost looks like it could be a heavy armor version of the Nightingale Armor. Pretty neat looking though, would be awesome to have on my character.

You might want to post some pictures as reference. Without it, modders have no way to know what the banded steel armor looks like unless they have seen it before too.

Obviously, the Dovahkiin would win. Come on, he destroyed the soul of Akatosh's first born, he is probably the reincarnation of a god (Talos), he can speak the language of the dragons, will probably end up stopping the Thalmer threat in most of Tamriel, is pretty much a dragon, and stops a civil war.

I think now the Throne room is finally Completed , May be I just need to add some sounds .... and then design the Issgard guards outfits ...

The armor looks great, but if I have one suggestion, maybe try it with different gauntlets or boots. Maybe try it with golden steel gauntlets and golden steel boots/Tsun's boots.

Bethesda parent company Zenimax Media has submitted a trademark application for new downloadable game content. In a filing submitted last month, Zenimax refers to a project called 'Dawnguard' that's specifically referred to as "computer game software for use with computers and video game consoles" and "downloadable computer game software offered via the internet and wireless devices."
IGN posted that. If you Google search it, there is also many other websites, but rest of the article can be found here http://games.ign.com/articles/122/1221479p1.html . I read that the Dawnguard are a elite force within the Mythic Dawn, so is it a comeback of the Mythic Dawn? I hope not, the story would feel like it was moving backwards then.
What's your guys opinion on this, and if you think it is really going to be dlc, what do you think it will be about, a voyage leaving Dawnstar, the Mythic Dawn, or maybe a new dawn meaning a new hope against the Thalmer?

Adding pictures may help to bring in people. Modders won't know what to make without seeing what it looks like.

yeah i had the same thoughts.its a very possible expansion but i havent played morrowind to see if there was more explanation there.in oblivion i never heard abbout dwemer so all i know comes from skyrim ( ah i know septim was given a weapon by them).well they are not DEAD they dissapeared.and with that technology i would not be suprised if they were all just hiding and the expansion would be like : finding them by accident (example : u go to investigate a ruin for a guy who hired u and run into dwarves ) and then learn the reason and what happened to them.but i cant think of them acting friendly...and i would not trust them.the falmer did and look what good that did to them.but i want to see the dwarves :)
( i heard rumors about official anouncement that an expansion will be with dwemer.also heard a guy saying u can create a dwarve character but that sounds stupid : at helgen,captain! we found a dwarve with the rebels!!captain : nothing special put him in the line,cant link dwarves with dragonborn no matter what)
aah another possible esxansion is to focus on aldmeri dominion.who knows ?? :P

I found an article on IGN, http://pc.ign.com/articles/121/1218176p1.html , that has a nice picture comparison, and the texture upgrade isn't that large. It isn't quite as nice as the HD mods that are out.

Ah, so it sounds that it may be better to wait awhile on this one. I was just hoping that many of the armors would look better.

I was wondering if getting the new texture pack is worth it? Is it better than Skyrim HD 2k texture pack, is it better than some of the HD weapon and armor retextures out?
If anyone has any before/after photos where I can see the difference, that would be great.

Sorry, but those are exact rips from the games they are from. I know the website that they originate from, and the authors specify that they got the models from the original games.
