Well, it really doesn't matter what anyone's opinion of the rules are, they are what they are. Robin owns the site, and he made the rules, there's no real use in discussing or complaining about it.

These issues seem to be unique to you though. Are you using a sufficiently powerful PC? It almost sounds like you lack the memory and/or processing power needed.

OMG I love that hair!

Skyrim's UI is done in ActionScript / Flash, so nothing from any other previous Bethsoft RPG can be "ported". Anything made now will have to be completely newly done.
-
Nope, you can only get 1 object from any single recipe. However, there are ways to work around that. You can create an item that when activated/used gives you as many items as you want to specify.

Look in the credits of the other language version to see who the original author is, then send them a PM.

i cant believe it! why would he be forced off the nexus? this is bulls***!!! Do you "know" that he was "forced off" of Nexus? I hardly think you need to go into a rage about something you know little or nothing about. I didn't get that sense when reading his blog. I have my own speculation on "why he decided to go elsewhere", but I don't like speculating and won't comment on it.

Ah, I see.. Is the author of the other languages not the same?

AKA Camel's nose. AKA Slippery Slope, etc. Yes, I'm familiar with that mental defect. This is what people argue when they don't really know what they're talking about. Yes it is, but it is a fact of life. People are afraid of that stuff, and it does happen, which is why the terms exists in the first place. My post above just outlines the overall sense of direction I have seen from this community (been around here for a very long time), and what they are trying to prevent. The term "better safe than sorry" has some pretty significant causes throughout human history.

Might want to contact the SkyUI folks, they are pretty versed with the Flash UI stuff.
-
It's a bug, message a mod or report it and ask for a fix.
-
You could ask the author, maybe? The other language version should only change the language on the stuff it touches (like an item name or quest text, etc.).

how to import a character face from one save to another
Sunnie replied to Deleted1064519User's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Simple answer, you can't. There's no way to extract face data from a save game (that I am aware of). -
Creation Kit - Grand-scale texture replacing
Sunnie replied to GomuGomu64's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
It just means that the few people who looked at it didn't have an answer. Don't forget that the toolset has not been available and in use by the community for very long, there's not going to be a plethora of answers to a lot of questions (like yours). Answers come with experience, and experience takes time. -
Making a rant post (in the wrong forum and thinly veiled as a question) is not exactly the most efficient or successful way to ask a community to make more male armor. You might be more successful if you start asking mod authors directly if they could make a male version of some armor you like.

The bottom line is this: If you don't like a mod, what it does, or what it stands for, don't download it or stop using it. It's that simple. And don't go make a rant post flaming an entire community. And I would consider this a troll/flame bait post, It has no purpose other than to *censored* and complain, and demand that a community bend to their (the OPs) will. You (OP) don't mod, you don't have any experience with the tools we are given, and yet you have made quite a few "judgements" about the tools and the people who can and can not understand their use. Sounds like a troll post to me, and not a great way to get involved in this community. Why don't you go post this over on the Bethedsa forum? See how long it takes to get locked and your account warned.

LE Static Only Appears Half The Time
Sunnie replied to LegoManIAm94's topic in Skyrim's Creation Kit and Modders
In the buildings ref, set the "Is full LOD" flag. -
It's called "the snowball effect". When one modder begs and pleads for endorsements, soon, everyone does because they feel thats the only way they will get them. And, when one modder asks for donations, soon all will and you no longer really have a free modding community.

Yaaaaaar! Yep, that would make you a pirate, and the reason you won't find a very warm welcome. Do yourself a favor, buy the game. You will get no support here with a pirated copy.

You might try deleting "Skyrim - meshes.bsa" and "Skyrim - textures.bsa" from the data folder, then run a cache verify and get a fresh copy of the files from Steam. I have had wierd issues like that (it was one of the short caves, something in it was crashing me) and the problem was fixed by getting a new copy of the meshes bsa. I've also seen others have similar issues with the textures bsa, and getting a new copy fixed it for them. It's worth a try!

Or you could just use a single ObjectRef property and stick all of the stuff you want to enable on a single xmarker enable parent.

Have you tried saving a folder at a time? Did you try BSA Commander? http://tes.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=3311 Or FOMM (I use the BSA tool in there, never had a problem)?

Arrows sometimes get cleaned up, sometimes don't, and it's not consistent in any way shape or form (though it seems that arrows shot in city worldspaces or player homes tend to never ever get cleaned up). There's a limit of 15 arrows per cell (not world wide), so there will never be more than that stuck or laying around at any given time in that cell.
